See now I have to buy yoghurt for Naan bread (can you freeze the dough or anything?) and now I have to buy yoghurt to go with the Options tub at home
Anyway, food for today:-
Porridge with raspberries (99p for a frozen pack in Aldi)
Snacks have been snacka jacks and an apple
Lunch was pasta with tomato olive sauce and some grated cheese
Tea is turkey curry - but with no Naan bread (unless it only takes 20 mins to make and bake)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

OOOH! it's nasty and cold today.... well I'm feeling it, I never bump up the underfloor heating in the day, but have done some sitting down jobs at the computer etc before lunch and got a bit cold.
This necessitated me thinking about a hot lunch! Got called away before I did the food list this morning.
Breakfast was porridge
Snack was a banana
Lunch was egg, mushrooms and baked beans, Whoops! almost forgot,,,, a mango as well. Reduced price at Mr Ts last week.,
Snack ?
Dinner will be left overs from the weekend. Plenty of veg and meat stuff there. Fortunately none of the rhubarb & Ginger crumble!
Just remembered I have to go for dd later on, so do have to go out. Was hoping not to as the weather here is so carp.
Hope you are all having a good day."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hya folks
Well done to all those losers..keep it up! (or rather, off!!) :j
Hello to all the newbies and regulars...well, everyone really..hope you are all doing well at the start of the new week.;)
Not the best of days weather-wise, though I did get my first load of washing out for a couple of hours before the rain came...it all stayed on the line too!
I was just about to hang out a second load when the skies opened...so it's the tumbler for them! We seem to have missed the worst of the bad weather so far...though a bit "breezy" last night! I do love a good sea-side gale, but I am a long way from the coast these days.
I grew up in a small village just 9 miles south of John O'Groats (Keiss...hence my user name!), with the garden going down to the high water line. Dad still lives there (though he is at Gatwick today trying to fly to Montenegro...hope the planes aren't too delayed!). The sitting room has a large 15 foot wide picture window facing south, so you can watch the wonderful whipped up sea without getting blown away...until the salt spray fogs up the glass! It has been very bad on some of the south and west coast today though...hope everyone is okay.
Food today:
B: Special K, soya milk + OJ....nearly finished the Special K packet...been having HM Museli or porridge lately, but ought to finish the bought stuff before it goes soft.
S: 2 HM Twinks hob-nobs...soooo yummy!:D
L: Just had lunch of poached egg on HM bread toasted + salad...mmmmmm, haven't done that for ages!
S: Fruit
T: HM Spag bol, wholewheat spaghetti + grated cheese
S: SF jelly with pears
Must get back to the College work...Microteach this week, having everyone sowing tomato seeds! Just have to get my Lesson Plan finalised as well as other homework I have to get done....then sort out all the pots, compost, seeds, labels etc and get everything ready to take into College for Thursday...not much then!
Have a good day

Hi all
Been quite controlled this weekend. OH and I were out all day sat but resisted pub lunches and waited until we got home for a HM pizza (had defrosted the bases and quickly defrosted my HM red pepper and tom sauce, yum yum). We shared a bag of Minstrels though.
Today:
B: 2 x wholemeal toast w/ lime marmalade
L: leftover rice, veg, beetroot, blood orange (odd concoction I know)Pesto / mushrooms and spinach & ricotta tortellini

Hi everyone,
Weigh day today, absolutely thrilled to share with you that this weeks loss was.....4lb! :T :T :T :T :T
Thats a total weight loss of 1 stone and 1lb! :j :T :j :T :j :T
Am so pleased, I have literally never managed to get my weight loss into the a whole stone, its always a few pounds and then time to give up! Am so thrilled, got a long way to go but my positive attitude is currently sky-high!
Food today:
B. - nothing
L. - had to attend a neighbour's funeral so some buffet munchies afterwards: 2 x ham sandwich quarters, 1 cheese sandwich quarter, 2 x tiny slices quiche, 2 cheese and chive scones, 1 small slice of lemon cake. Not too bad I suppose?
D. - HM chicken curry, rice and salad.
Only did 30mins walking today as didn't want to be too far from home in this terrible weather.
Well done to all other losers, speak to you all soon. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Hi All
Well done Rockie, Nicki and Chloebelle on the weight loss, plus anyone else who's lost.
Another cool and cloudy day here today. I've had a bit of a headache and don't know whether it is because of the weather or due to the fact I'm back to drinking decaff coffee. I couldn't get any decaff last time I went shopping so have been drinking the normal sort but it ran out at the weekend.
Even though the weather and the headache could have been a good excuse we still went out for our normal walk along the beach - but in jumpers and jeans rather than shorts and t-shirts today. I also had an extra walk down to the post boxes so probably about 5,500 steps today.
I was up early as I had my weekly article to write. I always leave it till the last minute as I find I work better that way. At least the hour difference means I can get it emailed to be there for 8.30am and not send it till 9.30 here. I then went back to bed for a cuddle with OH and we didn't get up till late.
B: Banana
B: (again, but this time with OH): Muesli etc. Pineapple juice.
L: Burger in a pitta bread. Raspberry yoghurt.Probably homemade tomato soup with a piece of bread. Orange.
