WI for me tomorrow, out of curiosity I got on the scales this morning and they're saying I'm down to 14.3  That would mean I've had another 4lbs loss week which is not good as it won't stay off at this rate.

HOWEVER, my ex-partner moved out on Tuesday (collected the rest of his stuff yesterday) so I can make some changes to my diet much easier :D DD is getting told "eat it or go hungry" we don't have the money to be messing around with me cooking 2 seperate meals :o Mind you it does mean that the amount of red meat we consume will drop and the amount of vegetarian meals can increase :D I might even start trying to cook some fish which I don't really like, but now I can at least try and not worry too much :rotfl: My grocery bill should drop dramatically as well as Ex used to eat enough for 2 :money: So we shall see what this does for my weight loss. ;) Plus I also plan to start exercising alot more, and maybe even start going swimming as we have a new olympic sized pool ( see here ) but its all going to depend on cost. Oh and since Ex has now left we don't have a car so have to walk everywhere or pay for public transport now!

    Evening all :D

Well hubby has left on exercise for the week now... so im milling around allready :rotfl: don't know why..im used to it and for heaven sakes i used to live on my own :p .... still he will be back on Friday.... sure i will cope ;)

Just after he left i realised that i hadn't had any tea  ..had my chicken dinner at 1pm.. and then a pear.. but clean forgot about any tea  .. hubby finished of the cornedbeef slice, roasties n beans before he went out -which is good -as i wasn't overl fussed about it -but would have had it for lunch tomorrow as i don't DO waste ;)
so at 8:30 i grabbed 4 Krisprolls with cream cheese n beetroot and a pear..so my tummy is happy and full again :D

Rockie... i would have been with you on the "keeping an eye on the neighbourhood" ;) hubby calls it nosey...when we know it is friendly curiosity :p

Cheerfullness... you can't eat hazelnut yogs eughhhhh squirrel poo is what they are called in this house... hubby will have an occasional yog but it has to be hazelnut or toffee bleughhhh... you would like some of the ones you can get out here... over xmas you could even get "stollen" flavoured ones... and the ones with oats n stuff in are always about .. I can't eat them.. but i think my mum mentioned they sold some in either ALDI or LIDL....

I have decided that im going to definitely blitz the house this week, then do a check of my herb/spice /cooking cupboard and see what i have, then go through the books and look for new recipes and see what i need to get when Aprils budget starts... Egon over on the grocery challenge told me of an Asian shop here in Bielefeld and we have found it :T ...but im not going in until April... so can feel lots of new cooking goodies coming on :p

Will keep my fingers crossed for all those of you weighing in tomorrow ;) hope we all get good results...
right im of again... going to make a cuppa and get ready for the motoGP to start :D

    evening everyone,

i've had an odd day today, DS is constipated, which means our usually happy and competently potty trained son has been upset and forgetting to tell us when he needs to do a no. 2.

on the upside we had a lovely time with my brother and his girlfriend. went to a nice italian near them.
    b: weetabix & sml banana
l: nothing - had an early dinner
d: breaded mozarella  pasta & meatballs (i ate very little of as was up and down taking DS to the loo!) and sticky toffee pudding :oi just couldn't resist, but it was very yum so i think worth it as a treat.

been to Aldi and OH totally blew this month's shopping budget with bags of chilli nuts and other 'non-essentials'. Its only the 9th March for goodness sake. Although should only need fruit/veg/bread/milk til next month.

    oh well. WI on tues.

Good luck to anyone WI tomorrow.

    Night night xx

You would be more than welcome :D I will even banish the peppers to the "overflow fridge" in the basement..we eat loads... i can quite happily eat pepper instead of an apple -as long as its not the horrid green ones

ooohhhh a willing [STRIKE]victim[/STRIKE] i mean volunteer to test my concoctions :T ...... your bravery and selflessness is breath taking :p

Toniwotty... how old is your little one? You could try stewing some fresh apricots if you can get him to eat them-perhaps sweetened a little or hid in yoghurt.. when i looked after my baby niece many years ago, her mum had tried everything to help her... i gave her that and by the time her mum got her home she had "solved the problem" all the way from her ankles to the top of her nappy :rotfl: so it might be worth a try... you only need a little ..

    Hi all

Here I am making another appearance and wondering if this time I am going to stick to some sort of weight loss programme.

On 6th May I am off to Barcelona with the family, at the moment I am appx. 14 stones and I think there is enough time for a 1 stone loss, what do you think?

As I am no longer wasting my money on the Slimming World classes, does anyone know of a website with nice veggie diet plans that does not charge for the pleasure of reading it? Thank you very much, and hope to catch up with you all from tomorrow (could not start today as I had already been invited to my friend to knit, view the newborn kittens and eat her fab pumpkin and ginger cake!).

    Love to all

    Caterina

    Hi Caterina,

Everyone is different so theres no guantee is you can lose a stone in that time, but its quite a while away so I'm sure with some sensible eating and exercise you can make a difference.

I use www.recipezaar.com which has every type of diet and meal plan finder you could wish for!

Decided not to weigh yesterday, so will wait until Friday to weigh again...not been bad on the eating front but made some apple crumble to-day with real custard and have to admit that it was very nice...pleased that our apples kept in the dark of a shed this year, haven't tried to overwinter them before except stewed in freezer, not many more left now but they are really nice...very ms to have one of my five a day in the shed!

Congratulations to the losers, see you all to-morrow

Cheerfulness - im with your dad - i love ppeping in that window and watching the breqad making process!! Well after i checked in on FRiday i made some pizza dough. I left it in the fridge as our freezer is in the garage and it was wet and cold. Saturday morning dough had spread all over fridge like an alien growth!! Anyway i made a pizza for Sat tea then took DSs to football. When got home felt really unwell and have managed to come down with some nasty bug so havent eaten or been awake much since 1pm yesterday. Completely ruined my weekend and OS batch cooking but may have saved a few calories!! Feeling a tad better now - just in time to return to work like the weekend never happened:mad:

    WI tomorrow - fingers crossed
