Forgot to weigh myself this morning as I got up in a rush and was dressed and out the door, then had a bacon sarnie and cappucino while I was out, so will either leave it until to-morrow or next Friday...and be more careful than I was this am.

    Congratulations to the losers....

    Hi,

I take glucosamine too as does OH. He has knee problems which definitiely seem to improve when he takes it. I've been suffering for the past year from a frozen shoulder which is gradually getting better so don't know whether the glucosamine helps with that too.

Another (extra) dash into Gibraltar today as we may have tracked down a glass plate for our new (and still unused) combination oven. The Spanish shop that supplied the original oven with wrong plate have still not found us a new one so we are getting really fed up with waiting. It must be a month now.

I tried some of the chicken liver pate last night. I only had pitta bread in so toasted one of those with it on. It was quite nice but a bit soft and not as good as the stuff I remember making in the past. I think it was lacking in some herb or other. I shall be having it again for lunch today, this time with freshly baked baguette.

B: Muesli mixed with fruit and fibre, raisins, skimmed milk. Pineapple juice.
L: HM chicken liver pate and 1/3 baguette. Banana
    D: HM kedgeree. Orange
Snacks: Have promised to treat us to an icecream in Gibraltar if OH will come for a walk with me this afternoon as well as walking around Gib.

    Have a good day everyone.

Oh dear...change of routine had sugar puffs instead of a HM smoothie for breakfast ...was hungry and now I've eaten my lunch:eek: my dinner will not be ready until about 7pm I'll have to superglue my lips today:mad:
  • Morning all

Saversarn - made me laugh. That's so me. One minute I'm committed....going to do it.....ain't nothing going to get in my way.....am so determined.......and then all it takes is for my routine to change a bit and i'm away like a woman demented! Loved the fact that it was the sugar puffs that started it:rotfl:

Congratulations to all the losers. I'm not wi till Mon so that it'll be less of a shock when I see what I've put on.

Catch up with everyone later, have a great day

Rockie - Lets hope they transfer the money in quickly. OH always had that problem at work with holiday pay. They normally got it transferred into the account by the Tuesday.

I do take Glucosamine but I've only been taking it for about 3 months. It has made a difference as I was in agony just getting out of the chair at one point. I have the ones with Chondroitin added as mum treated me to them and said they would be really good for me.
OH spotted in the Holland and Barret mag that Omega 3 fish oil capsules also combine well with those, so I'm having those, too.
Is it just mine or are the glucosamine all the size of elephant tablets  and the omega 3. Need a cuppa to get them down.
And dad was concerned about me losing weight so he bought me multi-vitamins. I'll rattle!

Saversan - well done on your loss. :T Remember that take care of the pennies and the pounds take care of themselves AND take care of the pounds and the stones take care of themselves. ;)

Can feel my ryvita calling. Oh and I love my hair do. It's only the same but she's cut it really choppy and just below my shoulders so it looks all thickened up a bit. :D

    Hya Folks

Well done to all the losers, esp Mrs M you are such an inspiration!:j:j
    WI today...and I have lost 2 pounds!:j
I lost 2 pounds last week too, but that was just getting rid of the 2 that had crept on the week before! It is great to weigh in and still be under 18 stone...I might get used to this! 17 stone next! Not sure if I can lose another 5 pounds in the two weeks to Good Friday, but I can always try! 4 would get me to the half-way mark to 17 stone.

Made lots of soup this morning, using up all the bits and pieces of veg left around and stock from the gammon on Wednesday....smells good! I might go and whizz it (don't really like lumpy soup, and it disguises all the veg so my 2 DSs will eat it!) and have some for lunch before heading into town for the Chiropractor (via Lidl for OJ and tinned toms).

Might shove some sausages into the sc with a jar of sauce and tin of toms and some veg. DH cooked tea (I was @ College 5-9), I had defrosted sausages for them and they had noodles and veg. DH didn't see the sausages in the fridge, so used frozen ones...so I have to get them cooked today...a bungerall casserole sounds good...so I won't have to think about them when I get back.

Got to go, just realized the time...have a good day folks!

    M

    Hi everyone,

Tried a quorn sausage today and was pleasantly surprised, they are different but actually tasted really nice. I'm not a big fan of pork sausages as they are too greasy so I think these will suit me.

Have stocked up on mullerlites - they have to be my best find since starting to diet!

    Food today:

    B. - 1 shredded wheat with semi-skimmed, apple

    L. - slimmers packet meal of sweet 'n' sour chicken, yoghurt

    D. - need some friday night junk, slimmer style! Am planning SW chips, beans, quorn sausages and a poached egg.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi Chloebelle, glad you like the quorn, its is v versatile food so im pleased for you :D

Its fab isnt it when you are on SW and you NEED a huge plate of food and you can sit down with eggs, chips and beans!!! MMMM,:j :j its sods law whenever i go on it though that i get sick of the site of all the green free foods as i dont really like meat that much! and i get far too hungry on WW as i do a min of 12000 steps a day and i have had so many arguments with the leaders who say you cant use more than 4 points a day extra that are earned thru exercise!!   so i ended up ccnstantly going over my points as i felt sick with hunger and was really struggling for energy to do the walking!

anyhow, i think everyone on here is doing relly well! you should all be v proud of yourselves.
