You lot will be proud of me. I went to Mr T's after chorus this evening...arr at 10.40pm. I didn't get myself a chocolate treat! I was starving and thirsty.

I got loads of reduced price stuff, incl a tub of fruit salad. Why is anyone prepared to spend £1.99 on a tub of fruit salad... Only enough for one. (well if it's me!) I got it for 60p. Just relaxing with that and a cuppa.

I need to bake myself some GF bread or something. I'm starting to miss bread.

Can't remember what I had to eat this evening..... couscous without the couscous IYSWIM. No chicken in it either, so I guess it was just vegetable soup really!!! Some stewed apple and a cheese slice.

Chloebelle.. im affraid eveyone is right... quorn sausage are very different to meaty bangers..i love them though... have you tried the asda low fat sausages? they used to be either lincolnshire or cumberland and they were rather nice..mind its a long time since i had them....

Toniwotty.... yes the TOTM has the same effect on me.. the other day it was like a disco in the kitchen with the fridge light flashing on and off (and I think it was cheerfulness who said she was doing the same) :rotfl: i now find that i don't crave junk... but i deffinitely find myself chomp chomp chomping for 2 days..then it passes

    Meals today:-
    • brekkie - yoghurt
    • lunch - leftover meatballs n pasta from last night
    • feta/avocado salad with steamed potatoes
    • snackies..yog and fruit
Tomorrow should be interesting...as long as it isn't peeing it down hubby is going golfing and im going to walk with him -armed with my pedometer ;) ... he leaves home about 6:30am  ..that will be a shock to the system :rotfl: but the exercise will do me good..dread to think how many steps it will be..any guesses anyone ???

Hubby leaves at about 7pm on Sunday... but its not too bad as he should be back by friday evening...assuming the folks orgnising it get their heads from up their bums  .. so i just have to entertain myself myself for a few days...so i think i will fettle the house ...

Morning taplady, rockie, newlywed, bigmummaF, M.E , rosewood, keiss...and the many many more..hope we all have a great day

    Morning all,

Quick jot as I'm just off to have my hair done..my reward from DS1 for losing my last 7lbs. All excited as I love it when my hairs all freshly 'choppy'. :j

Big well done for MRSMC - :T :T You've lost every week since last August, haven't you? Really well done!

My knees felt like someone had taken a hammer to them last night... ouchy. :o I can cope with achy muscles but the gnawing pain of joints is a killer. Still I will persevere and hope my 'clutch' knee holds out when I nick DS1's car in a mo and nip down my mums for the hair do.

    Food today:
Toast at mums. (no time here and she only has allbran :p )
Creamy blue brie on ryvitas with tomatoes
HM Botham burgers in HM bap with salad

Take care everyone and I'll catch up properly later.

Oh and thanks for all the encouragement regarding my walking. ;) My efforts seem a bit lame compared to all the steps you lot manage but I'll get there....eventually. :D

    Morning folks :hello:
Today is OH's and darling GD's birthdays :bdaycake: So I might have to have a little extra!

Last night I didn't have my yoghurt, just a medium glass of wine and a bag of snakajacks.
Brekkie today was boiled eggs and soldiers, lunch is ryvitas and hummus with a salad, I have fruit with me for snacks. A sneaky nip on the scales this morning looks promising ;)
Tea tonight.......OH wants steak - that was really good sending me, a veggie to buy steak  I nearly had a heart attack at the price!
So he is having sirloin steak, I'm having Cauldron sausage, we'll have asparagus, field mushrooms and HM wedges with it and strawberry and raspberry cheesecake for pud. I did buy 2 slices rather than a full cake though!!

MrsM - well done, you are a 'regular loser' aren't you? Brilliant!!

Cheerfulnes - do you take glucosamine for your joints? I have arthritic knees and feet but am hugely improved since starting glucosamine.

I like quorn but not the sausages, they're ok in a casserole but not on their own, the Cauldron ones are gorgeous!! I could eat them every day!!

Off to do some work, boss is still off so busy, busy, busy!!

    See you later folks :A

Reporting in. Well done Mrs Mc. I think my weight is starting to go down a little. I'm really sticking to eating plan fairly well. The telling time will be when I come off my winter meds though. THat's usually a fortnight when I eat for England, so need to maintain control. Still not had any bread and no bloating either, though I am having withdrawal symptoms. You know when the bread comes out of the BM and I would have eaten the first crust.. with nothing on... IYSWIM!!!!!

Just noticed the time, must go!!!!!

    Morning all ;)

Well done to all you losers - MrsM - that's good going and an amazing amount lost in total. :j

Cheerfulness - your walking efforts are dependent on your physical ability - I've got asthma but that's about the only thing that really limits me physically. So basically - I've got no physical excuse not to exercise - if I go for a walk, I'm not in pain afterwards.

It's no good trying to do loads more than you are able to if you will be in pain and unable to move the next day ;) Just do what you can do and maybe stretch the boundaries a tiny bit at a time :D

As for the quorn issue - I don't like quorn, have tried it in various forms and not keen at all. However the Cauldron sausages were nice. I was surprised that in a sausage casserole in the slow cooker all day - they still stayed quite firm and sausage like. Tasted good too. But not hugely cheap ;)

The other sausages I get are the Sainsbugs Be good to yourself less than 3% or 5% fat jobbies - they do them in cumberland flavour too. Still sausages but less fat - not gristly either :D

Anyway - food for today is:
Breakfast porridge - had syrup and raisins again
Snacks - banana and a pack of caramel snacka jacks
Lunch - more pasta with Aldi tomato and olive sauce (getting some more jars later today).
Tea - Sausage casserole in slow cooker - 3% Sainsbugs sausages ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Hi all,

    I lost a pound:rolleyes:
Whenever anyone else loses a pound I think 'well done still going down' when it's me I'm like darn thats not much  I'm going to have to try to be as pleased for me as I am for others... does that make sense to anyone?
    B- Sugar puffs
L- Ham sarnie apple and pear
D- HM fish pie and spinach
    Snacks - cadburys option drinks
May have a glass of wine later;)
I'm going great guns on the steps and definately feel a bit of toning happening around the buttocks:p
Rockie I'm going to give glucosamine a try as I suffer with my knees too.
Have a good day all x

I've taken it for a couple of years now. I've always loved walking but would be in agony (and tears) sometimes. Walking downhill was worst!
It takes a couple of months before you really notice the difference but I don't have a problem at all now.
It was an Australian nurse who told me about it, she walked with a stick but doesn't need it now.

    I'm fed

It's good stuff! Takes a couple of months before you really notice a difference but I get no pain at all in my knees now where before I would be in tears walking downhill.

I'm fed up now, OH has just rung to say his wages haven't gone inthe bank

This is the 3rd time he's changed jobs and this has happened!!

Waiting for him to let me know what his boss has to say now.......some birthday!
