Hello all and well done to all those who have lost, and others for trying. :money:
Been an ok-ish week for me, did my first official weigh in on Monday and was mortified at the results  but am just pleased to be taking steps to lower it. I've decided to *try* to use the ww points system to kerb my portion sizes, as left to my own devices I'm not so sure I would ever stopHowever I won't be eating any low fat foods (apart from mayo and salad cream) cos (1) DS can only eat full fat foods and can't afford to buy two lots of everything, and (2) I'm not keen on sweetners etc.
Was bad yesterday as DH took me and DS out for a valentines day lunch and ate a rack of ribs, chips, salad and dessert and then for dinner had massive bowl of pasta and cheese  But today is a new day and you are such an inspiring bunch I will get back on the food wagon!:j
Food today: weetabix, salad for lunch with ham and all the leftover bits from the fridge and bread, dinner will be hm fishcakes with potatoes and veg. Followed by some delish choc (3 points) and a cuppa.
Good luck all!:xmassmile:rudolf:0 -

Morning ladies :hello:
I think I'm addicted to muesli ryvitas  *strange woman* Better than cream cakes I suppose!!
I felt nibbly last night so had my usual 2 then had another 2 then a packet of snackajacks. I'm following SW principles and am well inside my syns allowance for the week.
Went for a swim this morning - last morning with the car so took full advantage :T
I had 2 muesli crispbreads with a bit of marmalade before I left home, I've just had soaked oats with a bit of yoghurt and some berries, work is soooooooo busy at the moment I didn't have chance to eat it earlier :rolleyes2
Lunch is cottage cheese, salad and a bit of potato (left from last night) I've got fruit for snacks.
Tea is sweet potato and lentil burgers, new pots and brocolli with fruit and yoghurt for pud.
MrsM - Well done on the loss :T :T :T That pud sounds lush! I love cardammon, sort of spicy but lemony and.....well, nice!!
Frogga - I'm up for a challenge, I might actually lose some this time instead of putting it on :rotfl: :rotfl:
See you later folks :A

Hya folks
Well done Taplady and all the other losers, including Mrs M and juliejim
Not posted for a while and taken an hour to catch up with the old and new threads.
Now for the great news...I've lost 4 pounds this week!:j:j:j
I am now the lightest I have been for about 2 years...yippee!
I have not done much exercise yet as back is still painful, but improving. I have however made a conscious effort not to nibble too much in between meals. So it must be working.
I made the twinks hobnobs this week...63 on Tuesday and there are hardly any left today!...DSs 1 & 2 LOVE them...and they are better than flapjacks calorie-wise so I can see me making more.
This weight loss (I weighed in today rather than Valentines Day as I normally weigh in on Fridays), has meant I have made Mrs M's challenge with pounds to spare.
It also means that I have nearly made Frogga's Feb challenge (2 pounds to go), so I am having my own challenge: it is 5 weeks today to exactly Good Friday , so I am going for 7 pounds loss by then, starting today.
I have been up to my eyes in college work this past couple of weeks and handed in loads to my tutor last night . I thought I would be behind as I missed a couple of sessions due to my bad back, but I am one of the few to be up to date with the homework!
So today I am relaxing, catching up with this thread (and GC, not doing well there at all!!).
I am getting my hair cut at a posh hairdressers for FREE this afternoon! A voucher came through the post, so I am making the most of it. I haven't been to a shop to get my hair cut for over 10 years (use my friend who's a mobile hairdresser), so it will be an experience!
So I am really feeling great today...and England even won their cricket match this morning...what a day!
Food today
B: HM muesli with Soya milk...soo goood!
s: orange
L: Sandwich...freebie from college last night, scrummy!
s:?
T: HM fajitas with Mrs M's tortillas
Hope you all have a great day and weekend...I'll let you know how the haircut turns out!

Just a quickie, feeling rotten as I have a fever, pains and aches and am so tired I feel that I haven't slept for a week, BUT I have lost two pounds this week, which means that I am now one whole pound less than I was in September.
Back later, love to all

Just been for my walk. Decided as it wasn't raining and the sun was attempting to come out, I'd carry on and walk to get bread. Went a slightly shorter route though so was 3 miles - still took me an hour though (including waiting to be served in the shop). Sure I can get that down to less.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
