Hi everyone,
Well done MrsM:T :j
Good luck Rose and everyone else weighing in today.
I weighed in this morning and lost 2lb:cheesy:
So I've done my 7lbs for Feb with half a pound to spare :A
I'm now going to attempt 6lbs by Good friday as I'm feeling quite motivated at the moment and enjoying the reduced me :rolleyes2
B- HM smoothie
L- Finish up the last of the humous with a couple of Krisprolls and a couple of cold leftover low fat sausages and an apple
D- Maybe an omlette and salad or anything that needs eating up before my big shop tomorrow
Steps yesterday 14123 :T :A (sore bum today though:o )
mhe I like your name and it has a special meaning- not pants at all- my name is a darn right lie, I've never been able to save a penny;)0 -
ohhh shucks Thankyou everyone :blushing:
Just got back from a wander... wasn't going to -but its lovely out there so i thought i may as well..so 1hr 15 and 7500 steps later..im done
Frogga....yep -it was 1lb last week, but to be honest even if it stays as that every week then it would be fine with me (not that i will say NO to a bigger loss:p )... but i figure that is near on 1st every 3 months... so still 4st a year... I have been doing this to my body since i was 14 -well that was when i was first on a diet :wall: ..so i have accepted that it will take as long as it takesplus... if i set smaller target -they are easier to achieve so i don't get disappointed .. me not silly -i have thought it out :rotfl:
BigMummaF... you can come and live with me if you likewe have a spare room..and anyone else wanting to join in ..i have a basement with 3 rooms and a loft with pull down steps... all with lights and sockets -so we have plenty of space :rotfl: although there is a fridge in the basement ..but it can be padlocked :rotfl: it used to be hubbies beer fridge when he was a singley so a lock was needed
..
PurpleIvy is right... you can get jars of prune juice/puree to use instead of fat.. never tried it mind...
Cheerfulness.. we are the opposite.. if i put 2 veggies on hubbies dinner he would be traumatised :rotfl: i have to have 3 minimum -not counting potatoes... but the more the merrier in this house.... yesterdays was cabbage, broccoli, carrots and peas.... thing is though that i have that much veg im stuffed before i have eaten everything else..so today i need to start looking at shrinking my meals ..poooooop im not giving up my veggies...so i might have to drop to 1 potato
Mind hubby just loves salads..and his fave thing on them is cottage cheese -which is a fave of mine too... not exactly a "manly" meal for a squaddy but he doesn't care :T
Pigpen... i think i was born weighing more than 5st :rotfl: okok, so actually i was a tiny scrap of a thing and until i started school i was still dainty.. then it went pear shaped..and so did i :rotfl: .....
Its Ok as im jealous that you have 8 kiddiwinkles... we just don't seem to be having any luck in that department... even though i have now shifted 25% of my body weight  . Still we will see how we go as i lose more... failing that we are going to look into fostering/adopting
RoseWood.. Its amazing just how easy it is to have your routine upset isn't it!!! As nice as it is to have family stay.... its so much easier to control things when they leave isn't it ..you end up eating different things at different times.... you have more food in "just in case" -that doesn't get eaten -so you are left with it when they go
I was glad in a way that this year we went back to the UK for xmas..my mum n brother usually come to us... but i know i wouldn't have coped half as well if they had .....
You can get back to normal now and you will be back in the swing of things in no time..
good luck for the weigh in by the way
I was chatting with mum the other day and we actually think that my problem started when i started school dinners at 5 ..as mum had always cooked from scratch and only ever used tinned peas occasionally...never anything else..and event though we had cakes etc it was all homemade - but it was tinned ravioli, spaghetti etc at school bleuugghhh and we think that is where i developed a taste for processed stuff...
Put that together and the fact that im now losing it by going back to eating how we did as kids ..and i think we may have found my problem
right i had better get off and get a cuppa...
have a great day everyone.. and thankyou once again... it wouldn't have happened without everyone of you lovely lot
You snuck in whilst i was typing -so
Rockie..think you are right.. sometimes we need to be a bit selfish to get where we are going.. and putting yourself first sometimes is perhaps what you need
Pigpen... i bet you don't have much to lose do you? they always say it comes of quicker the bigger you are -not much consolation i know -but i still have loads to shift and 4lbs is a rareity
well done Saversarn :T :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning all,
Pigpen - I'm within the "healthy" weight range and have never been able to run!!! Walking is lower impact and not as bad for your joints
Mumma - no worries - I often forget who said what - been very much blonde this week
Not having a good day - trying to sort out stuff other people have left behind that aren't in today  So have eaten biscuits
Breakfast was porridge.
Lunch is a banana, hone and sesame seed sarnie - didn't fancy ham or cheese which is all we had in the fridge
Tea is curry from the freezer
As for the microwave fish pie comment - I make mine in the micro - zap fish etc in casserole dish, flake up, add white sauce (packet mix) and then top with erm... smash
Well sometimes you just need a quick mealworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I cant run either but then I think technically it is bound to be harder for me what with me being a Fog an all
mhe dont change your name ~ I like it, and even more now I know what it meansI often wonder why people call themselves what they do , a standing joke between myself and Taplady is that I thought she was a plumber until I saw her avatar

Morning! Well done Mrs M! blimey!!! Best of luck to all today's weighers!
Both OH and I jumped on the scales today... We've not weighed ourseves for a fortnight... and I've lost 5 pounds and OH has lost 3, so bang on target! Am very happy with that!
Didn't have time to make tortillas last night but grabbed a bottle of olive oil to use rather than canola (may put it in a spray bottle actually, for afterwards - poor girls Frylight!) Was a bit naughty - had 2 tiny bottles of beer with dinner (!) (kaffir lime chicken stirfry) and 4 crispbread crackers (0.2g fat and 19 calorie ones) with a smidgen of low fat cream cheese... but stayed up quite late for me.
Today:
B: 2 x wholemeal toast with slice of ham!
S: apple
L: tiny amount of leftover stirfry, orange, fat free Yeo Valley yoghurt (no idea what they taste like - were on offer!)Beef burgers for OH, Quorn for me (i'm a Quorn virgin - hope I like them!) with salad and corn on the cob
Have a lovely day, loosersxx

you're a fog??? lol.
Piggies aren't known for their agility I guess.
MrsM I should lose about 3.5 stone.. but right now I'd be happy with the 0.5!! We will look at each other with mutual envy then.... I'd love to foster/adopt and give a child the love they all deserve.. but we will have to see what the future brings... for us both

New start Monday - YesYou're on:D
You can eat what you like until then and not feel guilty about any of itfresh cream muffins are very much allowed!
And swimming is very good exercise:j , it tones you up and makes you feel good :j (it does me anyway) and nobody cares what you look like, they're all too busy worrying about them selves
Seriously, I swim regularly, I wear a speedo cossie which isn't flattering at all, a swimming cap (to protect my highlights:eek: ) and goggles so nobody recognises me anyway :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: There are several ladies and gents who are MUCH bigger than me but we all just get in the water and swim to the best of our ability.
I can't run - I'm not made to run but I can swim!
You do whatever exercise you feel comfortable with:j
