Hi
Think the things I have see for fat replacement were 'applesauce' (sounds a bit american to me!) and prunes."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Pigpen - what saversarn said makes good sense. Sometimes it really can help to stand back from it and take some pressure off. WE WILL come looking for you tho should you vacate your chair for too long.
Taplady - mine are the same over too many veg. Their heads start spinning if more than 3 appear, and one has to be potatoes. The day I introduced celeriac caused mass hysteria.
Food today:
Weetabix
Quiche and salad
Boiled egg and HM seedy bread fingers
Snacks - don't fancy my Fri night cheese & biccies so not sure.

Hi All.
Thanks for missing me Cheerfulness. I have been reading but not posting as I have been very busy. I've had my son and his fiancee over for a few days and as the weather has finally become good again we've been making the most of it. He only came for 2 days, 3 nights but has had a nightmare getting home. We dropped him off at Malaga for the 14.35 plane yesterday. It started showing as delayed 10 minutes before due to take off. After 5 hours(!!) they announced it wouldn't be flying till this morning. By this time it was showing as cancelled on the internet but they hadn't heard anything about that at the airport. We then did the 3 hour round trip to collect him again and brought him home. We were up at 5.30am to return him for check in for the new time of 8 am. At that point they then announced it wouldn't be till 7pm this evening!!!!!!!!!!! However, we left them there at that point to return home to try and book another flight. He texted just as we got back to say they are putting them (and the rest of the plane load) on todays 14.35 flight and throwing off today's passengers. So we shall have to wait and see.
Meal planning has gone a bit out of the window as a result of all the trips and then to-ing and fro-ing but am planning to get back to normal today. However, I did have a big bowl of cornflakes with full fat milk today rather than my usual muesli with skimmed milk - my excuse is it needed using up after buying it for DS.
I am going into Gibraltar later and will look out for a pedometer. Will also get weighed. I don't think I can match your 4lbs Mrs M (congratulations) even though I haven't weighed in for a month now. Lets just hope it's a bit lower than it was.
Will report back later.

Hi Rose - I can see why you didn't have time to post.. poor son! Thank goodness that didn't happen to your previous guests with the baby.
At least you've had a visual reminder of why you wanted to lose the weight.. I'm guessing this is the son whose wedding is coming up soon. And if I remember right you're doing self catering... Yum! Worth losing a few lbs so you can indulge in that.
