Hi
Am trying for the, goodness only knows how many, time to lose weight. Lost weight last year inspired by biggest loser on every tea time and lost about a stone - fortunately I haven't put any on since then, so mind if I join in.
Breakfast - not a great breakfast eater, but know I need to kick start metabolism, so banana and 2 clementines.
Lunch - 2 rounds of ham salad sandwiches
Dinner - chicken curry
Snack - bowl of cereal or porridge that I should have had for breakfast!
I have quite a bit of weight to go, but every little helps !0 -
Thank you so much! Will let you know how I get on tomorrow! Think I may have to buy some olive oil rather than using canola and Frylight on everything, am sure a little won't hurt!
xx

I've had me tea and just having a bit of a wobble. Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I was told my O/T at work wont be extended so it looks like I'll have to defo get another job as cant really manage very well with out it.
Why is it when I'm so close to reahing the target of being good through all of Feb that I now struggle? This is the way self sabotage begins. Don't worry I've brushed me teeth so I wont do anything but I'm cheesed off cos I'd really like a binge right nowSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi!
Thought I'd say hello as I sometimes have a look through this thread and am currently trying to shed a few pounds. The main plan is to cut down on junk food (don't eat too much but OH buys crisps/choc all the time!) unecessary snacks, eat my 5-a-day and do more exercise.
Anyway.... wanted to share this recipe as I've just eaten it and it is GORGEOUS. Tastes very naughty but it can't be that bad! Also very easy and quick:
- cut pear into 4, slice off core, stem etc
- place pieces onto foil/baking paper on a baking tray/dish
- sprinkle overa bit of olive oil and lemon juice
- sprinkle over blue cheese
- seal parcel and bake 200c for about 20 mins
- I then open the parcel and grill for 5 mins to brown a little
- bit of ground pepper to taste
Cannot decide if this is sweet or savoury!0 -
Alex_w - that sounds lovely. Hmmm and I've got some blue cheese in the freezer. Must give that a try. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

A going to a restaurant tomorrow night but starting saturday morning will try and re-focus. I haven't blown it yet, just slipped out of some of my new good habits. Certainly not giving up yet!
Todays food:

D. - try and stick with veggie soup and fruit due to big lunch!

I do think tho that you must be pretty healthy no matter whether you like the reading on the scales or not. All that walking, looking after your big family and a big house to march around. And you have the restraint not to wop down all the chocolate coins in your knicker drawer in one night. I'm in awe.pigpen - dont give up!we wont let you!;)
Thank you.. all of you..
The point is I am not healthy I am about as unfit as it is possible to be.. I have no physical stamina whatsoever.. I can run about 30 yards.. I can walk for miles.. and quite quickly but make me jog/run.. it ain't gonna happen!
I just feel so crappy about myself and the fact I am getting absolutely nowhere it all just feels like a whopping waste of time even trying..
I may have to take my sulk over to the grumpy corner and have bit of a strop for a few days (af is due shortly I think) If I am gone a week come drag me back!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all,
Come on Pigpen you can do this, why not have a week off, don't think about it and come back as a fresh new girl;) I remember seeing a picture of you and about a dozen of your favourite children at a wedding, you all looked gorgeous and I thought any woman that can stage manage that can do anything she puts her mind to. So enjoy your hols and tackle this with the presision you must have used to organised that and get those debts down!!
Frogga firstlyand secondly I will be very cross if you binge and stop me having an exciting monday morning anticiating your post. I know that being forced to find another job can be devastating but don't let it give you an excuse to fail, you've done sooo well:T
Ooops must dash got to put my salsa pants on0 -
Evening all
Had my dinner... chicken, 2 steamed potatoes, plenty of steamed cabbage, carrots n broccoli and a spoon of marrowfats -not a big fan but as hubby loves em i humour him sometimes-i like frozen peas nom nom -so now im fit to bust :rotfl: -think im gonna have to shrink my portions further.
Bummer about the OT mrs Frogga... but if you take work else where -who knows where it might lead... think of all the opportunities, thats it- see it as a whole new chapter... and well done on resisting THAT urge
hope it passes quickly for you my ickle green friend
Hello and welcome Patchwork cat :T .... don't worry about how many times you have tried beforei started at 14 - and didn't get my bum into gear until August last year -just before my 36th birthday:rotfl:
Hope you find it lots of help on here
Well spotted Cheerfulness.. we have "regulars" missing  .... can't have that can we... i sometimes forget about people until they pop up again
And all those of you sitting on the outskirts feeling a litle left out... come forward and join in - you have to be gobby like me and some of the others- i won't name names as i will be in trouble
but they and us all know who they are :rotfl: . I can here frantic tapping of keys now as folks ask if i meant them
That article sounds interesting..... I deffinitely hold with not labeling food "good or bad" any more it makes everything much less tempting
Skintbutsmiling...
Ohhhh we were definitely raised to clear our plates... and we all have a problem with leaving things.. i now put out much smaller meals anyway..but if i don't want something i won't eat it now .. sometimes i get part way through a meal decide im not that hungry and shove it in the fridge and eat it later
Rockie4 -don't beat yourself up.. a day or 2 eating extra won't do much damage... hope you are feeling a bit happier soon..sending hugs
well its weigh day in the morning..so pinkies crossed for everyone else weighing in too:D
I looked on a BMI web site yesterday and at 5ft 5" if i want to be between the healthy range of 18-25 i should weigh between 8st  and 10st 10lbs.. 8st... i ask you
So my 1st stop is the 10st 10 ...in which case i need to lose 5st 6.5lbswhich means (depending on what i lose tomorrow) im am virtually half way there :j - only i could get excited about having over 5st to shift :rotfl: ...
right i had better get off...hope everyone has a good evening..
keep up the good work everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
