(((PIGPEN)))
Looking at your signature youve done really well with your debts:T .
If you can do that you can fight a bit of weight. HAve you got a friend near you that you can go walking or to keepfit with? Sometimes if you do it on your own you cant be bothered but if you know sonmeone else is waiting for you it forces you into it. Im trying to locate where i chucked my pedometer so i can outwalk MRSm - i must do several hundred steps at playtime and i have 2 of those a week. Dont give up - wed all miss you too much on here."With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -
I do millions of step.. I had a pedometer and thought there was something wrong with it as at the end of the day it had only registered about 1000-2000 steps.. then I realised it was going right round the clock!!
My house is about 55 feet front to back so just walking up and down throwing stuff in the bin is a hike! Hubby worked out I walk up to 20 miles a day!! (length of average step x by number of .. all technical stuff!!)
I said I can't walk that far in a day.. it isn't possible.. but apparently it is.. when you get up at 7am and go to bed at 2am!!! :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hello all,
Nothing to report really, have been a naughty old woman today and eaten about 10 chocs and a slice of chocolate cake as well as a banana, clementine pork chop, steamed spud and lettuce and handful of dates....and that was all before the salami sandwich...I disgust myself sometimes, but will make more soup to-morrow.
Someone asked...Good Friday is on 21st March

hi
tried slimming world chips - mmmmm!!!
Dad thought they just tasted like roast potatoes  but mum who doesn't even like chips thought they were great. Will definately try them again.
Satisfied my craving for junk in the healthiest way possible. All the way home I was literally dreaming about stodgy pies and chips!! For the first time ever I tried making home made burgers using lean mince. I dry fried them and had in a bun with little bacon (fat removed), small slice of cheese and extra light mayo.
Oh god they were wonderful!! I swear I'll never eat a floppy supermarket burger again!! Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Not to mention all those women who stand in unmatched undies having Gillian McPoo woman prodding their butts!!!!
i used to quite like gillian Mckeith wen she first started doing her progs, but the way she is carrying on in Supersize v superskinny is quite frankly making me want to slap her. she is so rude! perhaps if she had a big bum she might be more cheerful!!! :rotfl:Please be nice to all moneysavers!

Pigpen - you can't leave  you always say the right thing when the rest of us are feeling like throwing in the towel so, to quote what you said to me not so long ago, 'we will come looking for you on the boards and drag you back.'
I do think tho that you must be pretty healthy no matter whether you like the reading on the scales or not. All that walking, looking after your big family and a big house to march around. And you have the restraint not to wop down all the chocolate coins in your knicker drawer in one night. I'm in awe.
Beemuzed - Well done.:T Bet that's a lovely feeling. I'm so looking forward to being able to put in my sig that I've lost 2 stone but this next 1 1/2 lb is beggaring me around.
Not holding out much hope for this week either as its last week of the month and I'm eating whats left rather than things I'd choose.
Get paid Friday night, thank goodness, so can get some different stuff in. Must have tinned salmon and picalilli. I have cravings.
Food today:
Readybrek (shall use extra water as milk rationed. )
Chicken salad sandwich with mango chutney. (Last of chicken)
Quiche lorraine with steamed veg.
Snacks - Apple and mandarins.
Had progress with my mum. She arrived with butter biscuits in hand  BUT ...a bag of mixed salad. :T Maybe she's finally getting it.
Have a great day and finish Feb up right. We've only a couple of days till this challenge is over and then we'll tackle MRSMc GF one. Looking forward to that.
Oh Taplady - am I getting this right?... you nip in at the end and just have the cake and coffee? Ohhh didn't realise you could do that. OR have the WI started up cafes? Now that I'd really love. £1 for coffee and cake is an absolute bargain!AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

morning all.
pigpen don't give up. i've tried very hard to lose weight over the last couple of years but i usually end up giving up because i wish i could just wake up and this extra 3 st would have disappeared in the night ....
but i've found now that if i'm not stressing myself out about it (had a galaxy caramel yesterday but now today i know i have to be a good girl) and thinking i can only lose weight by living on salad, the weight is coming off. its not dropping off me as quick as i'd like admittedly but this way i know i'm more likely to stick at it! stay with it, it will come off. one of the best things i've found is reducing my portions to "standard" size (aside from veg/salad, i can have as much as i like of this!), i didn't realise just how big my pasta portion were! and eating slower helps a lot.
but as cheerfulness said you must be pretty damn fit and healthy!
beemuzed well done on the loss!
somebody mentioned about my bank card (sorry can't remember who - too early!!) i have to wait 7-10 working days for it to arrive  luckily OH gets paid today.
food for 2day:
b: granola w. rhubarb yoghurt and sliced banana
l: fish w. potato wedges (if i don't snack this morning, if i do then it will be fish and steamed veggies!!)
d: soup of some sort & 2 scoops of r/berry sorbet i think
have a good one :A

Morning all, food plans being a bit disrupted at the mo. Sneaking suspicion that I'm gluten sensitive..... not coeliac or anything, just sensitive. It seems to be a bit of a coincidence that I had an easy evening with my tummy, having had a small amt of wholewheat spaghetti, in comparison with the previous 2 when I had some good bread. THis morning I feel lovely and slim and unbloated, a good feeling. I'm not slim of course, but it does a girl good to feel that way.
COmbining low gluten with trying to stick with Low Glycemic Load is hard work!
Today I think it's porridge.
Snack: will try and have something small if it's necessary, supposed to have something to keep blood sugar even.
Lunch: either nut loaf which dd rejected... apparently the cheese was mouldy she said (b*****ks!!) and some salad.
Snack: 70% chocolate ... but only 25g!
Dinner: DD's long awaited pasta with tomato sauce. What can I have with mine? Some veg I think.
Snack: dunno, will try and do without though.
Hope those going to the WI (!!!) get on OK and you can all stick to your plans."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
