aside from this i just popped on because the granola i had for b/fast was YUMMY ans kept me filling full all morning. but its not exactly :money: anyone know if its cheaper to make it urself and if so anyone have any recipes?! MRSM i reckon this could be a query for u ;):D

oh before i go skintbutsmiling that pud sounds AMAZING! HM or shop bought? i think i need the recipe or to know where u got it :p

saversarn got my fingers X-ed for ur WI.

hello to anyone i've not mentioned! keep up the good work :T

    xx

I've started to make granola, really for me, but dd has decided she likes it. So now I split it and put stuff in myhalf that she doesn't like ("hairy" fruit like apricots  and she doesn't like prunes either, so those are safe). First lot was cranberry and pecan and maple syrup, got pecans and cranberries from costco last time, but just got some nice cranberries in Julian Graves (ahem! AND the rest!!LOL:eek: ) next lot for her was cranberry and raisin. This time I used orange juice and honey, as I didn't want to use all my maple syrup and didn't have apple juice,Have some papaya and brazil nuts to put in for her next time. She seems to be at it for breakfast and supper, with HM plain yoghurt. Cost will obviously depends on what bits and pieces you use.

I was driven to make it when I realised the one in my hand in the supermarket was £3.49 for about 350g packet!

    Hi,
I can't remember if I posted food for yesterday.
I had a piece of toast for breakfast, kiev, savoury rice and lettuce and tomato for lunch and then sausages, chips, peas and gravy for tea.
I have to admit I had a few danish butter cookies for pudding after lunch and then cause I didn't put the tin away...I was tempted and did eat later on with a cup of tea...not too bad though...

Today all I've had is pork pies and toffee cookies....!!!!
We are having cottage pie for tea. I'm not sure about lunch yet.
Perhaps I should think about what I eat as well as trying to stick to just 3 meals!!!
Hope you are all ok, your meals certainly seem healthier than mine!!

    Hi everyone,

Been quite busy, so, havent posted for a few days again, and I fell off the wagon again, but do you know, im not bothered. Im feeling okay, and im like, when im in a "better frame of mind" I know I will be able to eat healthier, and I will get there.

I told my SIL that I was trying to lose more weight and she was like   .
Ive already lost a lot of weight, I currently weight 9 st 10lbs. To lose another stone would be ideal, because I think I will look better when you take into consideration my height.

Anyway, im not going to get upset or beat myself up about my eating for this week, because, I know I will get there eventually. Ive already changed the way I eat. Okay, so, Im still eating some junk, but, its alot less than before AND, I do all my own cooking now, so at least Im having a home cooked dinner every night, whereas before, I would eat junk all day, and the only decent "meal" I would have in a day would be breakfast. So, Im making little changes at the moment, and thats good enough for me (for now).

SIL had a good talk with me, and a certain green person on here YES IM TALKING ABOUT YOU FROGGA , has also said some magic words to me too, and they have worked.

So thats me for now (she says whilst eating a kit kat lol).

Did anyone see that programme last night "Supersize me vs Skinnysize"? I cannot believe that one of the ladies was so skinny and all she eat was junk food, at first I was like "OMG she is so lucky", (i mean eating that food, not being that skinny yuck) but, then, when I seen what the other lady eat, and it was all cooked from scratch, I then realised that she was the lucky one, being able to cook all that lovely food, and didnt she look great when she started to lose her weight!!!

Thats the first time Ive ever watched that programme, it was really good.
Anyway, Im waffling now, im away to do some more work.

    Jackie

Oooohhh bottoms!!! I missed it  Forgot it was on Tuesdays and didn't buy a tv guide coz I was broke. Pants :(

I love the way they give two extremes and they each look at the other's diet and say "you eat that??? for breakfast??" :D One made me feel quite sick with the amount of pork pies and sausage rolls one bloke ate just for a snack! (don't like pork pies or sausage rolls ;))

Bet it's not repeated on sky either :(

Anyway... Hello all, MrsM, Frogga, everyone :D

Breakfast today was toast and choc spread - OH ate the raisins last night that were meant for my porridge but will get some more tomorrow.

Snacks have been ... a pear.... and too many haribo sweets :o
Lunch was a piece of frozen salmon I found and cooked up and put in those part bake rolls with sweetcorn and low fat salad cream -yum.
    Tea is chilli wraps
