 Come on everyone, last push before Easter!! (Then me and H2B will be sharing a hotel chocolat egg if I reach my target!)
my target will be to stay at my target weight with all the eater choccies around!;)
MRSM - had a small slice of bakewell this time - no coffee cake -but it was delicious!:DDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hello all! What a lovely thread - full of support just what is needed.
Can I join? I was looking to buy a little notepad or something to write down everything I eat, in the hope it may put me off some of those extra treats.
To sum up, it took me 5 months to lose a stone and a half and I was a couple of pounds off my target weight at xmas, I was so pleased! Then xmas came, I gave up smoking (well, giving up!) and have put on 10 pounds. Devastated. It is only my own fault though I have been pigging out and this is the week I'm going to turn it around. I want to lose a stone by Good Friday.Compulsive Spendaholic #150 -

I was born on a Good FridayThat's why it's called "Good" Friday, just because of me, you didn't know that did ya?

I posted a recipe a while back...and i think it was cheerfulness (sorry if im wrong) who made them without skins to see if it was worth buying a machine and they were a hit with her family :j
Yeppers was me and the family loved them. My mum loved them, too.
I would definitely recommend having a go as it was real fun and now I've got a book from the library with lots of other seasoning and flavours so I'm all set for next month. :T
Before I forget - welcome skintbutsmiling (lovely name) and well done Chloe! I have found on the weeks that I've lost a lb that I've had to hold on tight but, as we all say, any loss is a good loss.. the rest will soon follow.

Evening everyone
Thanks for that Cheerfulness... nice to know im not losing the plot entirely
Howdy doody to all the newbies and welcome on board
Taplady...pleasssssse tell me it was bakwell tart....and not the proper bakewell pudding... living in nottinghamshire, Matlock, bakewell etc were regular places for us to visit..but have you ever tried bakewell pudding? oh my god it soooo sweet..and an awful texture - i put one spoonfull in my mouth in the "pudding shop" and had to dash to the loo to spit it out.. it was revolting... so hubby ate it
and then spent the rest of the day in the loo as the sugar went "straight through him" :rotfl: ..now bakewell tart is a whole different thing mmmmmmm almonds
BigMummaF... hope thing improve for you soon, and we have your lovely sense of humour back on here ASAP
Newlywed.. that is what i used to do when i lived on my own and had one of those key card things..... well mine was one of those where you got the pink bits of cardboard..so i would buy a months worth but not put them all in at once or you get carried away with not flicking lights off etc  ... those things were a nightmare...
Hope you do get paid tomorrow..fingers crossed;)
Well i can vouch for the tortilla dough being frozen :j ....I took the 4 balls of dough out of the freezer this morning, and when i cam to roll them out it was a little stickier so needed a bit more flour..but they rolled out a lot thinner and so much bigger :T which means in future im going to have 1 cut in half -as in my head i still will see 2 on my plate :rotfl: ..less cals and less pennies :j .
Im making a double batch next time and sticking them in the freezer
Hubby has just given me the house keeping - so i will have a walk tomorrow to shove €300 in the savings account..yipee a walk..have had 3 days without
It also looks like we WILL be going to Kefalonia late next year :j well everything going to plan ...so if i needed any more incentive to stick to this eating plan...there it isespecially as that is where i had "THAT" photo taken last year  ..will get one taken in the same place as a replacement :rotfl:
right i had best get off, hope everyone has a good evening..

Wages cleared early - surprised but not complaining
Have got stuff from Aldi - as well as haribo party pack which me and OH have been munching our way through
Thursday will do a Sainsbug shop for our "fussy bits" - their tuna in springwater is cheaper than branded and OH won't have the brine or oil options - he eats it every day though  Plus PGSo will allocate £40 for that shop - which will be difficult for me with the cupboards being so empty
Then will have £40 a week food/household shops after that. I WILL do £40 shops, honestly - well I'll try really hardworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
i'm intending to post properly later once weigh in is complete but needed a brief vent - CASH MACHINE ATE THE ONLY CARD I HAD WITH ANY MONEY LEFT ON IT
