((((((hugs))))) Queenpig, so sorry to hear that. She was so young.....
Frogga - Mr Rockie has a bad habit of playing with my 'puter......must be a 'man' thing  why can't they leave things alone, if it aint broke, don't fix it!!
Had my pasta salad for lunch with strawberries afterwards, afternoon tea break I had a cereal bar and some cherries, tea was mushrooms stuffed with spinach, couscous and a little feta cheese and we had garlic and herb spuds with it.
I think I broke all records tonight, I got in at 5.25 and tea was on the table at 5.40  all because OH is on a split shift !!
I'm too full at the moment to have a pud so might have a yoghurt in a bit. I'm going to have a glass of wine later, it needs finishing off......and NOI don't want to freeze it!!
I weigh myself once a week - the 'proper' WI but I will admit to popping on a couple of other times as well but they don't count
See you tomorrow girls :A

Taplady - not maths is it? My DS2 was on quadratic equations this morning and I decided there was no way I was doing those with a cold so shifted him onto the angles chapter, a personal favourite.
Feel really full, had some HM bacon, olive and garlic bread. That was so naughty as I bypassed my salad and went for a yummy ham salad sandwich, but with 3 huge slices of bread. I'm really feeling it, too.
See you all in the morning.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Hi everyone and thanks for making me feel so welcome!:D
This morning wasn't as bad as I'd feared........ it wasnt good either but could have been worse, especially after being a complete pig last night, but we had a lovely evening and a gorgeous meal and I enjoyed every single calorie!
So Day 1 has gone very well..... but doesn't everybody's Day 1!! Had a day off so went to Lidl to get supplies in and I was so proud of myself when I barely even glanced at the chocolate and biscuit section!
Lunch was tuna pasta and salad then I spent all afternoon in the kitchen (a rare event!) making soups, stews, chilli etc for the freezer and a chicken dinner for tonight. I've spent the whole day thinking about food but it's been in a good way, planning ahead and making healthy meals and I haven't had time for picking (my downfall). Usually me thinking about food means mmmmm, what can I eat next!!
Back to work tomorrow and I'm taking chicken salad sandwiches, a yoghurt, banana and loads of grapes to pick at when boredom sets in instead of nipping out to the shop for chocolate or biscuits.
I'm going to have my weigh in on a Monday and am aiming to lose 1-2 pounds a week, fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone!!0 -

welcome droopydrawers. I find 1 of the easiest ways not to spend money in work rushing out to the sweetie shop is not to take any cash out with me - helps my grocery challenge too. I always have my cash card in case of emergencies but cant spend 50p on that can you!!
WI for me today - i had a 2lb loss at playtime which had decreased to a 1lb loss by the official WI time of lunchtime and all i had consumed was a green tea with lemon!! So im declaring a miserable 1lb loss this week - should have been more - darn you party buffet!!:rotfl: :rotfl:"With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -

Hi Frankie,
We all do it different, the green one only weighs once a month, some don't do it at all just concentrate on how their clothes feel- and others no names mentioned have partners that threaten to hide the scales to stop obsesive weighing and the resulting mood swings.
I think most common is once a week officially and maybe a couple of unofficial peeks in between;)
The beauty of this thread is we all just try different things until we find what works for us:T
I am amazed anyone has the will power, to only weigh themselves once a month:T me, I can't last a week:o :rotfl:0 -
Does anyone know, which is best, mozarella or chedder cheese, calorie wise, to put on HM pizza?0

Not a lot in it aaroncaz - cheddar 116 per oz and moz 88 per oz. Then you have to weigh up which you'd use more of for flavour. I like moz but my boys hate the stringiness of it.
I'll put my A-Z of cals away now and drink my coffee.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
