I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Frogga's sandwich sounds quite nice:o
I might try it:eek: it's not a combination any sane two legged land lover would ever think of trying:rolleyes:0 -
I'm having a bad time... just found an open bag of lebkuchen hearts left from Christmas. Not very low fat and not low gluten either, nor low glycemic load. Feeling the effects of the weather today. Ikeep thinking things are better with the SAD, but on a day like today I realise it isn't."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what to put in dishes to replace garlic other than mixed herbs. My DH goes mad if i so much as look at a clove of garlic and most dishes need a bit of something to give it flavor. I take odourless garlic capsules instead so I dont miss out on the health benefits!;)
I know what you mean TL, I don't like the flavour of onions (leeks, chives, etc.,) or garlic. I am 100% better than I used to be as I keep trying to have a little of the flavour. I wonder if you rubbed your pot round with garlic rather than putting in pieces she could see and build her up slowly would help, as it certainly restricts you eating out, and if she goes off to uni later spag bol and pasta with garlic becomes their staple diet usually. I use bouquet garnet, bay leaves, sage, rosemary, etc., and am now trying a little mustard, knowing what it is as I put it in helps as this sometimes tastes like onions to me.:o DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

If anyone is interested, I've found a way to lose weight without doing anything
The wife did but I didn't
I've just weighed myself and for the first time since I was 18 years old,( and that was almost 24 years ago  ), I've lost weight. Having been 12 stone for all these years, (God knows why considering I eat chocolate for England), in the past few weeks, I've managed to lose almost 1 stone. There are side effects however. I now look, to my eyes anyway, about ten years older and I feel like I'm in my sixties.
This is another "LBM" for me. Guess who's climbing out of his deep hole as of now
Martyn.LBM: 12.2.08.Debt-free as of July '09 :j and determined not to go there, ever again :mad:DFW Nerd Club #902 Proud to have dealt with my debts.0 -
