    Evening ladies n gents

Had my eggies on toast for lunch :T ..hm bread toasted -with butter -nomnomnom
and dinner was chicken salad with hm coleslaw and steamed potatoes..

oohhhh i have made some of those "custards" but used 1/2 vanilla pod instead of cardomom and orange, and sliced 1 banana between the 4 ramekins, so only used 1tbs of sugar not 2 ;) mmmmmmmmmmmm have tried 1 -only so i could report to you all of course :A ..and the other 3 are in the fridge. the nana floats to the top...so next time im gonna mash it to death and see if thats better:D

Taplady -2 days  you will be getting withdrawal symptoms :rotfl: ..i have been sat flicking through a book i have that has loads of recipes for biscuits, bars, cakes, tea breads etc.... as I think im gonna start sending something in with hubby on a monday for him to keep in his drawer to have with his coffee.. there are some yummy looking ones in there :p ..... and i may just snaffle the 1st slice off for me to try and then send the rest with him -less temptation that way me thinks ;)

    Cheerfulness..
if you happen to get your prescriptions from specsaver so you can get your specs cheaper..make sure they double check it for you... i had mine.. sent away for 4 pairs of glasses of tinternet (about £20 a pair -including sunglasses) and when they came 1 lense was like a milk bottle bottom  so i went back to them and they looked on the system, and there was a note that read "with hindsight i think this prescription should read-and not +" ..but they hadn't bothered to ring and let me know -so they ended up replacing the lenses :rotfl:

RoseWood -just wait until your lovely weather starts you will be doing so much walking it will soon start dropping off you :T .. I don't blame you for giving the scales a miss -sometimes its much wiser than getting on and gettin disappointed.

Woohooo frogga -sorry -yes i got your PM, but it won't let me reply at the moment  ...will try again later mrs ;)
Well done on the after eights and lovely mum for taking them away again without a song and dance :j

Meanmarie.. I could live on fruit if i was left to it... I have had to cut it down as when i thought of how much sugar i was eating...even though its natural.. i would easily sit with a pot of nectarines, a big bag of grapes (which are really bad for sugar), a pot of plums and strawberries:p ... i would eat it rather than meals..but now im much better..i would still pick fruit over any other food mind ;)

Sorry you are feeling down queenpig .. is there anything we can do to help?

Hope Newlywed and everyone else is having a good weekend....

Hubby is golfing in the morning so im going to get some sewing done i think...

Doing braising steak with carrots n onions, potatoes, peas n broccoli for dinner tomorrow..we don't very often have beef any more as i find it sits very heavy..but i fancied a change :p

well i will get off now folks..keep up the good work and have a good weekend :D

  • hi mrsm, taplady, frogga, cheerfulness, etc etc,

 well i've truly fallen off the wagon today....

    b: branflakes
l: leftover chilli (just the meat and sauce) w. potato wedges
d: small pizza (one of those yucky chicago town microwave ones)

    snacks: handful of chocolate buttons

i'm so annoyed w. myself. only consolation is have done loads of housework and had a nice brisk walk into and around town and came back lugging several heavy shopping bags, so might have burned a few cals.
oh well, exercise dvd for me tomorrow, might have to be nell mcandrew, her's is a proper killer.

i have to say i love the sound of frozen mars bars.... :p

right off to have a bath before i eat my weight in chocolate!

    xx

    Hi Toniwotty

You haven't fallen off the wagon... have you not heard that we are all tied onto this particular wagon by elastic?... the oldies know about this ;) we sometimes fall off the wagon and get dragged along on our bums until we get back on again :p there is always someone there waiting to grab your hand and pull you back on :j

Don't get upset..you haven't eaten very much at all.... you don't have to go without everything to lose weight -far from it... if having a few choccie buttons satisfies your "sweet tooth" or craving then so what!!

If you look at what you have eaten.. some of the stuff you have had simply was higher in cals.. but you haven't eaten much "quantity" at all...so it evens itself out -so don't worry :D

Well, we went out to the local Indian this evening, probably ate rather more than was good for me, but it really tasted good! Roast pork lined up for tomorrow, need to pop out and grab some veg in the morning. Quite pleased 'cos when I felt really hungry earlier I chopped up an apple and a banana and had those - somehow they seem more filling when they're chopped on a plate!
Back tothe porridge for breakfast tomorrow - didn't have time today as I had an early hair appt. Wonder if that's why I felt so much like eating later - usually the porridge does really fill me up for hours.

    Think twice before spending anything!

Blimey, if that's off the wagon, I obviously haven't been ON it yet!!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself, we all need a few treats. The trick is stopping it becoming a full on binge attack. Just load up a bit on the fruit/veg tomorrow and you will be back on track overall.

:( my DP says if I weigh myself once more before Tuesday he's going to take the battery out and hide it, because I keep getting stressed with it, so I am not going to use them, until Tuesday, he's a meanie! Thing is the next milestone, I've not been under that weight since I took ill 7 years ago, I've never had that number before the lbs bit for over 7 years, so I NEED IT!!

MrsMC thanks, might try that, other one I was looking at was Xylitol but that is expensive aswell.

Food today 2 wholemeal bread rolls, 1 slice cheese, 1 beef burger, 1 bag wotsits (shocked they are only 95 calories) 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 sliced tomato, 2 coffees (1 sugar and tiny amount milk) sf juice, 1 chocolate cookie, 1 banana, bowl of strawberries, 1 apple, 2 kiwis
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Hi everyone

Hope you all had a nice Sat. I managed a 55 min jog this morning and felt great as I haven't run that much in almost a year. Thought it was going to be too horrible for a decent jog but it was brill although I was plodding for the last 15 mins. I reckon it doesn't matter how I do it, it's just about doing it.

The rest of the day has been pretty relaxed and chilled.

Brunch - wholemeal toast, quorn sausages, quorn bacon, egg and tomatoes

Dinner - HM mung bean and veg lasagne. (Turned out nice even though OH nearly burned mung beans when I was in the bath).

Now having a wee choc and hazlenut options. (could be new favourite :D)

A big well done to everyone of the losers :T. WI on Monday so we'll see.

Toniwoty don't feel bad. You could have eaten so much more unhealthy stuff. Don't stress, you're going to make better choices tomorrow so go easy on yourself.

    bye for now

    Hi Guys,

Toniwotty you really made me laugh "fallen off the wagon"? My backside! :rotfl: You're an amature matey if that was being bad, that's not even for starters in one of my binges :o

Had a pick of some grapes that Mum bought us from Sainsbugs and there was a horrid looking white eggy shaped web sandwiched in between some grapes and it had a horrid looking spider inside  Wrapped them up quick and Mum's gonna take them back tomorrow ~ It could have eaten me , you do get Frog eating Spiders you know

Really getting excited about WD. When tomorrow comes it will only be 7 more days. I know that it's a little more than a month as it will be March 3rd but I will weigh at work with my friend so Monday is the 1st available day. Those 3 extra days might be an extra 1/2 lb :D I am aiming for the scales to say at least 17 "something" as they were 19 exactly. I know that a whole stone would be good, but I also know even if they said 16 "something" it wouldnt be enough  Just have to wait and see.

Have a good day all xx

    Morning all :D

Hubby gone golfing, ive had my weetabix and got the braising steak in the oven, so i thought id pop by before i disappear into the basement to pot up my beans..they are turning into triffids  ...so im going to put them in their tubs for outside... but the pots are going to be wrapped in bubble wrap(have shed loads from moving;) ) and then covered over with fleece -as its too early for them to go out..but if they don't they are gonna get out of control :rotfl:

Well i asked hubby to take a photo of me last night  now the mention of a camera normally has me running for cover:p ..but i thought i would get some evidence of my journey...and OH MY GOD  .... i mean obviously im still far bigger than i should be..but when i compare that pic to the one i got in my photo album of my brother  ...at least now my chin no longer appears to be joined to my neck :o it was taken on holiday in july last year..god im glad i started on here in the August..and that i didn't get the photo album until xmas.... it was a real eye opener..and has definitely strengthened my resolve to see this through to the end....
I tell you one thing... when i get to target the original pic is going into my purse as a constant reminder ;)

Hubby and i have been talking, and are thinking about booking a holiday back to the same place next year..but later in the season...it was soooooooo bloomin hot last year.. and sometimes later in the season they do 3 weeks for the price of 2 -which is very :money: ...so im gonna have a look today at prices (they book up so quickly-and its a beautiful place) and see how much saving we would need to do ;) mind im allready stashing most of the house keeping...
It gives me about 18 months to get right to target... which should be easy enough...it would be so strange to be a "normal" size :p .. to have a nice swimmy, shorts etc...

Morning frogga:wave: ... nearly eaten by a giant spider  ..... im not good with spiders :o ..im getting better but they still give me the hebee gebees :p
Not long to weigh day now ....ohhhhh exciting.... keeping my piggies crossed for you mrs:D

Lil_me.... i used to be like that with scales..and hubby used to put them in the car and take them to work with him :rotfl: mind i never got stressed by them..i just found it helped keep me on track.. i only ever counted the reading on the proper day of weigh in-but i found it helped me THEN. Now i weigh in on a Friday, but i do occasionally take a peak on another day -but no-where near as bad as i used to be :p
I think that if what the scales say can flip you into being fed up and down..then your DP is probably wise to remove them for you ;)

right folks i had better get off and get something done..have a great day , and keep up the good work :D
hello to anyone not mentioned :D
