  • Hi all

Did my walk this morning which felt great :j

    Food today has been:

    B. - nothing (couldn't get into kitchen, major cleaning operation in process :rotfl: )

    L. - 2 x slices of toast with scrambled egg, tiny slice of pizza, 1 jam doughnut (then tremendous stomach cramp for an hour!)

    D. - left over veggie pasta bake i fridge

Felt so bloated and sick after lunch, think sudden consumption of butter and sugar after 3 weeks without made me feel ill.

Think I'll take it easy on the stomach now.
    Total debt £21,000

Well done those who have lost.

My AWT GL cookbook arrived this morning, 2nd hand from Amazon. Ordered yesterday!

Going to get a new vac, reserved at Argos in the morning, so will have a look before then to see what's available in the way of scales.

Not fair, burger rolls in the oven and they smell delish, was saying in another thread, made them yesterday for the freezer, but dd's cello quarted scoffed them for lunch when they came here to rehearse!

    Had so far

    B: Porridge
L: half burger roll minipizza(trying it out in the interest of science you understand), salad, tinned salmon and small apple. Think I must have had a carb high and low, cos felt terrible half an hour ago, so had small apple and 25g 70% chocolate. Feeling better now
D: Fish (bream I think it is) and med roast veg.

Had too many nuts last night while I was at the quiz. They had quite a lot of good snacks though, crudites, olives, cheese, choc (70%) so was quite pleased. Choc pud looked very manufactured so gave a wide berth.

    Hiya folks :hello:
Weigh in this morning told me I'd stayed the same but considering I've had a week (enforced) of no exercising, I don't think that's bad :j I would have done 2 dance classes, a km swim and a lot of walking if it weren't for the flippin' fall

Well done to all of you who have lost though :T :T

Today I've had 2 weetabix with soya milk, banana and a dollop of plum/blackberry compote that I made the other day (no sugar)
Lunch was 2 slices HM bread and a cupasoup - I was so busy cleaning this morning I forgot I had a hair appointment  so had to grab something quick!

I now have a supershiny new haircut  and am REALLY pleased with it......pity I have nowhere to go to show it off!

I walked into town (knee feels much better today) and back and then added an extra block before going home......no pedometer but reckon about 3miles.

Tea could be a risotto or a curry, haven't decided yet so off to look at cookbooks and make a decision

    See you later folks :A

    Afternoon all,

Had some porridge with honey and milk for breakfast, have had a sandwich earlier made with some baked cod left over from dinner last night, dinner will be ready in a while, baked pork chops, baked potatoes, turnip, potato, onion and pecorino 'pie'...couple of pears for pudding.

DDIL tells me that DS1 has lost 8 k since Christmas by just having fruit all day and dinner in the evening...not sure it would work for me ...night time dinner would lay me out and all go on my backside...still should up my fruit and veg intake anyway I think

    Good luck to all

  • Hi All,

Another day cooped up inside with the rain hurtling down outside. I'm really missing our walks and decided not to get weighed yesterday on our trip to Gibraltar because of that and because I was wearing heavy jeans and boots again. It is just too dispiriting when I haven't lost any or even worse put some back.

The builders have almost finished now - just a marble top to put on a cupboard in the bathroom where the washing machine has been moved to. We had a really good clean up and sort out of cupboards after they'd gone and everywhere feels really spacious now.

I've not been too bad foodwise today.
Breakfast: Cereal with skimmed milk. Pineapple juice.
Lunch: Bowl of tomato soup with freshly baked roll. Banana
Dinner: Chicken casserole with mushrooms, carrots, parsnips and onions and served with mashed potatoes. Orange
Snack: Lots of tiny milky coffees. One biscuit.

Congratulations all the losers. I wish I could lose a nice big chunk all in one go but even a lb a week seems to be hard going. Congratulations for resisting the After Eights Frogga.

Evening Frogga, MRSM, cheerfulness and everyone!

MRSM - 2 days without cake now! but I have been asked to make a lemon drizzle cake at work tomorrow so I doubt it will last:rolleyes: :D

Frogga - do what MRSM suggested to me and freeze the after eights!;)

well done to everyone who has lost this week! I doubt very much whether I will lose when I weigh in Wednesday - i think its more a matter of how much I've put on!

I've had my stepper on for 2 days now - 9000 yesterday and only just over 6000 today:o need to do more but its hard when I'm at work to get out sometimes. No time after an 11 hour shift for walking.

    Food today

    porridge and banana

tuna salad with mayo(lite) on granary bread with peppers and grapes

fruit salad - mango, grapes, strawberries and plums

small slice pizza with SW wedges.

Will probably have a yoghurt later and have also had a few liquorice toffees.

catch you all in the morning x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Yum, lemon drizzle cake.

Knees killing this evening as I've done a far bit of walking today.. more than I'm used to. Still, I did it. Not so long ago I couldn't have.

Missed breakfast, which I didn't realise till I was in spec-savers waiting for mum. I forgot what it felt like to have that hot, sicky, lightheaded feeling. I seldom ever got really hungry. :o

As OH had cooked a roast ready for when I got back I just grabbed 2 crabsticks and an apple to take the ickiness off while waiting for my dins.
I had some cream cheese and crackers about 4 and now I'm still reasonably full so haven't had my choccy cake. May wait and have a slice tomorrow mid-morning with a coffee. :D

Well done on holding back on the after eights, Frogga. Wonder if they're actually nicer frozen. Never thought to freeze chocs before, only mars bars, and I love those frozen.

Rosewood - you'll have the best of the weather soon and get loads of walking done. That'll shift those pounds for you. You were doing well when it was warmer. ;)

Off to bed in a bit as I'm aching. Want to get snug. That, and I can't stand the smell of this candle I've been burning in the lounge. Its a fruity one and is so sickly. Daren't complain as it was part of DS1's reward gift to me. :o Just not what I ordered.

    Night night everyone.

After eights - YUK!! too sweet and sickly for me!

We had chickpea, potato and spinach korma with pilau rice for tea - scrummy!!
Not had any pud yet 'cos I'm stuffed.

I might have a yoghurt in a bit and I treated myself to some cherries today so might have some later if I'm hungry.

    See you tomorrow ladies :A
