Weight loss the old style way part 3.

0.8lb off my next stone, I usually only weigh myself on a Tuesday morning now, fits in better as I was forgetting on Mondays, but have been doing it every morning since Tuesday when it was 1.8lb because I just want it to go, so it's now at 0.8 (lost a lb since Tuesday, cool!) .......I suppose I should wait for Tuesday, but then I think if I loose it before then and put it back on I'll miss it
I only get this desperate when it's the next half stone or stone bit. This will be my second one since October!!
Oh, I also must resist the brownies I just made, I have cut them into small squares (big tray bake) so if I do have one it's smaller. I missed lunch by accident so that will hopefully allow me the bits I scoffed which fell off as I was slicing them
Can anyone recommend a good sweetner for coffee? Tried loads which are horrid and drink a few cups a day to keep me awakeI've got myself down to just under half what sugar I used to put in but tried reducing it more and I can't drink it.
One day I might be more organised...........

Pretty good day here so far:

And its the weekend so I can go full-throttle on some decent exercise! Would never have thought I would enjoy walking so much.
Have a good weekend all, my weigh in is monday  . Have a big party night sunday (oscars live broadcast, complete with wine and nibbles. I'm a mental film fan!) but that will literally be my first blow-out since feb 1st. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

My daughter has manuka honey every day she's an athlete (don't laugh it's true
) apparently is very good for muscle repair and stuff too. Flippin expensive though, and not at all :money::eek:
Manuka is flippin expensive but it is also very :money: because it is certainly less expensive than a long illness and it is also a way to take responsibility into our own hands for our health (I hope!).
Ciao
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
There's always chicken fillets! The first time I did a chorus competition, a list went out with what to take with you, costume, earrings, shoes, makeup.. that sort of thing, then 'chicken fillets'.. My dd saw the list and said 'Why do you need to take chicken with you mum?'
Never go out without them!!  If I did I'd have to wear a label saying which was the front!
Had falafel and roasted veggies for tea - scrummy
I shall have a nice glass of wine in a bit and maybe a bag of snakajacks...well it is Friday
I've given up with the Argos pedometer, I reset it as I left work, walked 20 mins to the station then 10mins to Tescosand all round the supermarket........it registered.............365 steps:mad: Der!!!!! I don't think so:rolleyes:
I'll buy myself a 'proper' on on Wednesday when I get paid.
Off to watch Corrie part 2 - the quickest birth on record!!
Weigh in tomorrow folks! :A0 -
Hello everyone
Have had a wonderful day. Booked in for the first time, at the local college to have wax then pedicure and manicure. The students were really nice and professional so I will go again as its fairly near to me.
B - Mullerlight yog
L - ciabatta with quorn ham and basil leaves
D - actually not feeling hungry( never happened before)
Thinking of making cannelloni tomorrow or lasagne care of Aldi. Went on thurs as they had lots of italian stuff in. Good bargains as usual.
Bye for now0 -
Just got in from chorus, director had made us all choc crispies, would have been rude to refuse! NOT low GL. Was hungry so just had some porridge with water, skimmed on it and a bit of agave nectar. Feel better all ready.
MHE, fruit bread sounds really yum. Is it Low GL?
flour
yeast
salt
butter
milk
water
dried fruit
mixed spice
What do you reckon - i doubt its low anything!!!"With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -

'Not really' ! I would like it, but others not keen on sweet dough things on the whole, It's the flour and dried fruit! I have one recipe to try that is low gl, but other than that, baking recipes seem in short supply. Have ordered the Antony Worrall Thompson from Amazon, another 2nd hand bargain. Not desperately keen on him, but book might be OK."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
