Does anyone have a recommendation for 'bathroom' scales. Mine are geriatric digital ones. Purchased before we moved here (17 years ago LOL!)

They have never been very reliable. Seem to have 2 mindsets. Can't get a steady reading at all, was wavering between 78.5kg nad 81kg this morning! I don't really use them consequently, but feel that maybe they would be a useful tool in monitoring progress. I don't need to lose quickly (well, it would be nice, but I'm more into feeling well and a general down trend would be good!)

Would be please to receive 'reviews' of what you all have. A long time ago I worked for WW, so had a very good set of scales! LOL!

I brought abt 4 weeks ago, a Salter electronic glass scales, from Boots, they were £13 something, down from £19.99, they are easy and very clear to read.

Obstacle over! Having had no idea what I was going to eat today.... dangerous.... have got through to lunch time.

I decided that a sort of cooked brekkie would be good, so free range egg, some Aldi low fat smoked ham (It's like parma ham, but I like it as 'mock bacon', fold each slice in 4 and then lightly fry) microwaved tomatoes, a few mushrooms from the freezer and a few stray baked beans in the fridge for "good" carbs. Now all I need is a mug of tea. THink I will make D & DD's pepper hummus for substantial snack for later, there will be supper at the quiz.

  • Well done to all the losers!
My weighin is not til Tues, but I'm crossing my fingers already!

purpleivy -i got a fab set of WW scales from amazon, a damn sight cheaper than buying direct from WW. They store your first reading and previous so tells you how much you've lost total and since you last weighed. Can store 4 people's details and has BMI, fat % etc. Bit of a 'mare to set up but once thats done very easy!

today i've not done too bad

    B: two weetabix
L: cheese toasty :p but then had a couple of bits of dairy milk caramel (only a couple of squares!!) :EasterBun

Got HM chilli for dinner, so hoping to be Q healthy & keep rice portion Q small.
Altho been invited to friend's house tonight and her OH makes fab pancakes.....g2g tummy rumbling @ thought!!
