    Hi all.
Brought HM chicken soup in for lunch today and someone came round with free sarnies (wanting to deliver them daily so bribing us to think abut buying some). Have to confess the egg mayo and bacon one went down well ;)

Been for my 2 mile walk. Had just few quid left in change to get fruit and bits for the next few days - realised I had voucher for some marge or other free and so thought I'd use that and maybe try baking some famous hobnobs at the weekend.... self service till wouldn't accept it and cust services put the voucher through as my total shop (ok so it was only £1.30 more than it should have been) but I'm not gonna knock that when that's all the money I have left in the world till payday :D

Well done to all the losers and everyone that's shrinking too. ;)

My womanly assets shrunk to start with but I lost weight off my back too (went from 38 back to 36) so to start with they looked smaller but now my back is slimmer  and my belly flatter they look back to their proper proportion :D

There's always chicken fillets! The first time I did a chorus competition, a list went out with what to take with you, costume, earrings, shoes, makeup.. that sort of thing, then 'chicken fillets'.. My dd saw the list and said 'Why do you need to take chicken with you mum?'

    Hi all

After a fairly long absence here I am, this time really must make a big effort to lose weight, as I have discovered some health problem, I have fatty liver and also helicobacterium pylori (sp?) which is a bug that causes ulcers in the stomach and a lot of discomfort (yeh just what I have known all along!).

So I need to make a super mega effort and here I am!

Breakfast: bowl of fresh blueberries, 4 tbsps 2% yoghurt, 2 tbsp linseed meal (for omega 3 and bulk)

Snack: 1 tsp Manuka honey (to kill the bug and help with antibiotics intake)

Lunch: 2 slices bread, 1 mozzarella light, 1 tomato, handful green leaves, handful sprouted seeds.

So far so good, dinner is going to be homemade baked beans (kdney beans, tomatoes, onions) on baked potato, with kale on the side. Fruit probably, see how I feel.

Sorry for not being very chatty, I shall probably catch up better in the next few days.

    Caterina
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Hi Caterina, nice to see you back with us. Sorry about your news but I guess now you have the knowledge you can help yourself no end.
My daughter has manuka honey every day she's an athlete (don't laugh it's true:confused:) apparently is very good for muscle repair and stuff too. Flippin expensive though, and not at all :money::eek:
