Just popped in to say hi :j
Had a wobble last week and haven't been back to post since but have been reading. I logged in today to find a lovely PM from someoneand wanted to come back and say I'm much more positive at the moment.
Apart from anything else, we've just had an offer accepted on a house and therefore can't afford to eat. That should help.
You're all doing superbly, congratulations! :beer:0 -

Hello everyone and a HUGE :T :T :T :T mrs M, Frogga, Superspam, pebbles for great losses and to Bobbadog for her STS. I weigh in in the morning and am hoping to lose (I feel a bit slimmer) so we shall see.
What kind of a juicer have you got Mrs M? I bought one of those Jack Lalaine juicers off QVC once but I sent it back because it was so big and took ages to clean and got on my nerves, but I do like fresh juice and it certainly seems to be working for you!
Frogga - you know you have done so well - over a stone in a fortnight is just fantastic!
I had a bit of a blip last night as I was starving and ate a huge bowl of sultana bran at about 10.30, which made me too full to sleep! I am still full this morning!
Food today:
Breakfast - just a decaff coffee as I am still full!
Lunch - pumpernickel with cottage cheese and salad
Dinner - not sure - might do tuna jacket potato and salad.
Have a great day everyone!Jane

Note to self - wear loose pants - they'll trick you into thinking you're smaller than you are
My philosophy when dressing is NEVER to wear anything tight! It's downright unflattering and makes you look bigger than you really are.
I went to a well known chainstore to get fitted for a bra, woman said ah yes 36E or 38DD. They didn't have it in the colour style I wanted so tried another branch the next day, woman there squeezed me into 34F.... and I mean squeezed! It was painful. I put my top on and showed her the overspill, over the top of the strap, just behind underarm, sure you know where I mean. She said it was my decision, but that was a good supportive fit (must've been armour-bl***y-plated to hold it in!), I said that I didn't care what the fit was like, but that I wanted my clothes to look half way decent when they were on. Not having a back like a contour map of the Yorkshire dales!
A question... Does HRT inflate your b**b$?"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
Trying not to waste food!:j

Sorry Taplady...
I know i shouldn't laugh but it was the "he'll see his wrong eventually" comment ... i nearly choked on my tea :rotfl: . What is it about us ladies .. I don't recall me n hubby having a "proper" argument -yetbut we do squabble-usually over one of us saying 1 thing and the other hearing something diferent.. and i sit here thinking "i KNOW im right -and he'd best realise it soon":rotfl:... Hope Mr tap realises the error of his ways soon and normal service is resumed:rotfl:
Recovering its this one

I got it from Argos yonks ago... i actually have 2i got a white one (only like white appliances
).. then my mum got one and hers was graphite..but she was going to get rid as she didn't use it.. so i snaffled it.. I forgot how much i used to love it until this week:rolleyes:
I found the knack to cleaning it is to do it before you drink your juice -its a 2 min job..if it dries on though
I put an old carrier bag into the jug where the pulp goes.. less mess.. stick my glass under the spout -saves washing the jug.. and then always wash it under running water not in a sink of water.. it flushes it off and the only bit that needs scrubbing is the mesh bit and a nail or pot brush and its a doddle..

What a difference half an hour can make. After celebrating all your great losses this week, I decided to hop on the scales early because I do feel slimmer and so thought I would see how I was doing. Well, the scales show that I am nearly 3lb heavier than last week. I am so gutted I can't tell you. What did I do? Came downstairs and ate 5 slices of buttered toast, 3 poached eggs, two fun size milky ways and two digestives with peanut butter on them. Now I am miserable and I feel sick. I am soooooo disappointed with myself and think that I am going to just have to give up and end up like that man on half ton Dad the other night. Sorry to be a pain - I seem to be the only one who regularly posts on this thread who is just not doing well at all and I probably have the most weight to lose.
Why do I do this?Jane

Hey RS, come here hon and have a hug, me and thee have been a bingeing - but it's ok, we'll be better next time. Just sack it off, get on with rest of the day - its only one blip honey. Little steps (with a few wobbly backward hops along the way) will get us there in the end

Well, recovering spendaholic, you and me are just hoverers... not movers..BUT we are still here and haven't increased drastically.
Post on here BEFORE you have a binge
Post on here INSTEAD of a binge

U-huh... now 'talking sense' and 'Nix 'do not normally belong in the same sentence
but, just remember the tortiose and the hare, you'll get there. Lifes thrown some carp at you this week, understandable that you were tempted to eat some of it:rolleyes:
Jane you're going to do this, just in your own sweet time in your own sweet way. You can do it;)0 -
Sidles into room with small smile - laydeez I have lost 1lb:D this week (say it loud say it proud). Toni that is a total of 7lb
loss so far.:j :j And look - my BMI is under 39 now (still says I should be dead but working on that one).:D
Frogga, Mrs M, Superspam, Pebbles - you are all wonderful - great losses:T
RS - :grouphug: hugs. I find that if I am in the binge mood I need to get it out of my system and then start again the next day. You can do it.
