Have you ever tried spreading your pizza base with low fat cream cheese instead of tomato puree? its nomnomnom..especially if you use the garlic n herb one... i find that when i do it that way..i top it with onions nuked in the micro (so they are lovely n soggy), and any other veg, a bit of ham or whatever you like..but you only need the smallest sprinkle of cheese on top (i quite often don't bother) as you get lots of flavour from the base
well done on staying the same... it can be a nightmare when someone else in charge of the kitchen can't it
Woohoo frogga... glad you have given yourself a talking to... that was a cracking loss matey mate of mine :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Mrs M, you're a clever lass you are! Will definitely give that a go! I usually make my own red pepper and tomato salsa for the base, but I do love cheesey things more than tomato things, so think that's definitely worth a shot! Will have run out of cream cheese by tomorrow though, half is going in tonights tuna pasta and I have half with me for lunch!! Always the way huh?
I feel thinner, but i've got some jeans that properly fit me for once which I think has made all the difference!!!xx

Tired this morning. We had chorus rehearsal last night. As there is a show on Saturday we spent most of the evening running straight through a lot of songs, some choreographed. Normal rehearsal we spend quite a lot of time doing snatches that need improvement on new songs and tweaks on other ones. We're doing "I don't feel like Dancing" with a lot of choreography (Must be good for weight loss) that I haven't 'got' yet. I had to keep sitting down as my BP is still awry, too low...was 80/58 at the docs this weeek.
I don't feel I'm getting very far very quickly, but speedy weight loss isn't my thing. I suppose the other thing is that I don't have as much to lose as some. I think my BMI is 29.5 I don't want to be a skinny lizzy or anything, but really would like to have BMI nearer to 25. Weight seems to be fluctuating a lot. I suspect this is due to the HRT, so not worrying about it, just need to try and take it regularly to see if it's working properly, then decide whether to up the dose or bin it and grin and bear it! Might leave that till the weather is cooler!
My eating has settled a little over the last few days. It has been hot, so have wanted (and had) ice cream, but had no chocolate. TBH I haven't missed the chocolate.
Keeping busy really seems to help me, also being superorganised with meal planning, so that when I'm hungry and ready there is something there.
Actually, I lie! The thing that helps me the most is having you lot here! I know that while I am still here, I get encouragement from you all.
Enough rambling on. Today for food.
Breakfast, have oats soaking. Will put some in for tomorrow, so I don't have to remember to do it later on. Planning!
Must have a nice big coffeee before I go into work. Just have one student to see late morning.
Lunch will be.... not sure, but maybe soup if it's cold! Or I might cook some veg, meals this week haven't had veg, but salad. I'm missing veggies!
Tonight I'm going to make a yummy mushroom risotto. Will make plenty so that I can sneak a helping for lunch one day.
Need to do a meal plan for the next week.
BIG congratulations to all you losers...... have another good week. Friday seems to be a good day for weigh in for most of you!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning Peeps,
Well weigh in this morning said I was 18st 3lb so that's 4lb down on last week. A bit cheesed off as I wanted it to be more.
I guess it's a bit odd for me weighing weekly as the needle doesn't move so much  Still, it's 1 st 1 lb in a fortnight so it's better to look at it like that I supose
Hope the rest of you have a good WD, fingers crossed.
Well done on your loss Rockie :T Now why is it that I can think you've done BRILLIANTLY and I suck?
You do NOT suck, you've done REALLY WELL:T :T :T
4lbs is a lot! 2 bags of sugar, 4 packs of lard - pick up something that weighs 4lbs and you'll see just how much you've lost
Right, I've stopped shouting now, don't let me hear such negativity again!!!!!!!!
Soaked oats, yoghurt and berries, jacket and beans for lunch and the stuffed mushrooms we should have had last night for tea.:D
Thanks for the congrats guys, going to do some work now 1??!!!!
Will post properly later :A0 -
You lot blow me away. Totally. Some absolutely amazing losses there -
Frogga, over a stone in a fornight! Gobsmacked. So chuffed for you babe
MrsM - you're a machine, I just don't know how you do it. Well done!
Rockie - wooooooot!!! An amazing loss
Superspam - your weight loss in two weeks is brilliant, especially when you haven't got stones and stones to lose
My pants are too tight. Mood is hideous. I'm up and down like a brides nightie at the minute...............well most times reallybeing a bit of a drama queen can be a pain in the butt to be honest but I can't seem to knock it on the head
. Plus I had a binge last night, so bloody mad at myself. But I made the decision to keep stuffing Chewits and toast and peanut butter and crisps and cheese friangles in my gob - oh god, writing it down makes it seem even worse - so I'll just have to work extra hard over the weekend
Did manage 10 minutes on X trainer this morning though, need to be patient and work up to it. I know in a few weeks time I have to go and buy a bikini for my holiday so in preparation for that I am MAKING myself look at my body every morning when I get out of the shower - when you don't look at it and then are put into a situation where you are forced to deal with it it can all be a bit of a shock, does that make sense? So I figure if I keep looking at it when the time comes to actually buy the kabini I won't have as big of a hairy fit as I would have had because I will actually know what my body looks like. Does that sound like Nixy madness? I really don't want to do what I have done in the past which is focus on my body in such a negative way that it affects how good a time I have.
Bleurgh, aren't I a little ray of sunshine this morning? LOL. Soz girls, sometimes you need to dump it all out so you can start afresh - kinda like an online emotional colonic - aren't you glad you're here to help me with that?
Note to self - wear loose pants - they'll trick you into thinking you're smaller than you are
Have a great day everyone, I'm off to eat porridge and get myself back in a good mood - but honestly, your weight losses are keeping me on the semi straight and narrow xxxxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Big big thanks to Niddy, sorely missed from these boards..best cybersupport ever!!0 -
Made my coleslaw and it looks lully. :j
Used slices of white cabbage and red onion and red pepper, and grated carrot. For the dressing I used half mayo, half fat-free yoghurt, 1/4 teaspoon mustard, squirt of lemon juice, and a v small squirt of ketchup to give it a slightly fruity tang. Has worked well I think! The quantity I made would be about £4 worth of the waitrose one I buy - cost me about 30p to make.
Had yoghurt with honey so far this morning. Will follow up with a nice whoopsied fruit salad.
Lunch will be stuff I'm trying to get rid of - a bean burger with aldi's chargrilled steam veg. Don't really fancy it but defrosted the veg yesterday so must use it!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0
