Happy Birthday Rose :j Have a good un !

Something DREADFULL happened at work today ~ I got my sandwich out at 12.30 and it was mouldy

This was a very bad thing as I obviously couldn't eat it so came straight home and quickly made a new one. I was very scared that not eating at 12.30 and having to wait til 1.00 would make me come in and stuff anything I could get.

However I was as calm as I could be and quickly made another sandwich and ate it straight away, Phew!

When I checked the loaf, the whole thing was mouldy! I only bought it yesterday from Sainsbugs and it has a sell by dat of 13th! Naughty naughty! I'm gonna take it back right now and make a big fuss!!!

DO you even know HOW to make a fuss Froggie One? What with you being so shy and retiring and us struggling to get a word out of you and all that? :D

Buying bread indeed!, shouldn't you be up at t'crack of dawn baking your own bread before you Flylady round the house then whack out a cake all before breakfast? ;)

Afternoon all, hope everyone is well. Many happy returns Rose! feeling not bad today, did my weight lifting this morning, tried on my magic pants and went to buy a new top for my date - only £4 from Primark! smile.gif
B - tea, a slice of wholewheat buttered toast & a soft boiled egg
    L - vegetarian sushi pack
    D - mozzarrella salad
Water - still not great, keep forgetting to drink it!

Hope everyone has a lovely day, Jlynncsf
  • Hello everyone - didn't manage to get on the computer at all yesterday but managed to stay on plan with my eating.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSE!!! Hope you have a wonderful day and a great year to come! Well done on the weight loss too!

Cheerfulness - thinking about you and your son. (((hugs)))

Frogga - well done on resisting the urge to binge - I know the feeling when something scuppers your plans like that! It is actually a HUGE achievement what you did - people without food "issues" wouldn't understand just how much something like that can throw you - don't know that I would have managed it!

Toniwoty - thanks for doing the list thingie. I have lost 11lbs so far, my MiM challenge is a stone and I have lost 2lbs so far:o . Also, the pasta thing sounds lovely! The only thing with pasta is that I am no good at portion caution with it - I just LOVE it and find it difficult to stop eating it when I'm full.

    Welcome back Thriftmonster!

I got some pumpernickel type bread in Aldi yesterday and it is really nice and sooooo filling. I had one slice (126cals) for my lunch and it was well enough! Food today:

Breakfast - crackerbread with a little spread and glass water
Lunch - slice Aldi bread, light philadelphia, cherry tomatoes and 2 slices thin ham. Decaff capuccino.
For dinner I have made a scouse - but I've only used a little bit of extra lean braising lamb and lots of veggies - carrot, swede, leek, onion, celery and potatoes. Will have it with red cabbage which I love.

Hope everyone is okay. On the subject of those who can eat like a horse.... DD1 can eat for Britain - so could her Dad(ex OH) who used to take a whole loaf made into sandwiches for his packed lunch every day and then he would come in and eat a HUGE tea, massive dessert and a huge supper! So not fair! Poor DD2 and I only have to look at a cake and gain a pound!

:T to all the losers and don't worry about that tiny gain Taplady - you'll get that off in no time!

wow! I wish we had frogs working in our local library, I'm sure it'd be much more fun - just be careful none of the big books fall on you:D Well done on the fuss-making, I should do that more often. The amount of times I've had tomatoes go mouldy before their use by date and I just throw them away! Well no more *scrutinises latest tomato purchase - almost disappointed there are no mouldy ones*
