    Hi All

Had my weigh in a day early as it's my birthday today and I was hoping to have some good news - and it was. I've lost 2lbs so am now down to 10 stone 12lbs!! What a great present. So I've lost 10lbs now since the beginning of January.

We had a lovely meal last night. I had salmon in prawn sauce with cauliflower, peas, carrots and new potatoes. I gave some of my potatoes to OH but he refused all those which had been 'contaminated' by the sauce. I couldn't resist them so ate them up which I didn't really need to but was quite pleased with my choice as everyone else had enormous mixed grills with loads of chips. I also had 2 Cokes but no pudding.

OH has had to work some of today so was out at 10 to 7. Consequently I opened my presents and cards at 6.30 in the morning. I was going to wait till he got back home around 10 but couldn't wait!! He is now back again but has to go out again around 12.30. I am being treated to lunch by my dog walking friend and we shall go out for a really long walk afterwards. The sun is shining and it should be a really nice afternoon. OH isn't due home till lateish so I am going to see if DS wants to come round for birthday tea later on so that I have some company.

OH 's present to me is an IOU for a complete new outfit plus a mini cruise to Bruges at the end of the month which I am really looking forwards to. I wonder how much more weight I can lose by then? I've also been given some spending money for clothes and some book tokens, and today's post is still to come so it looks like I shall have a super shopping spree once I have dropped to the next dress size.

Can't really put my food diary as I don't know what will be on the menu for lunch. If it's quite substantial I shall just have a light tea instead so will decide later.

Have a great day everyone. I've decided not only am i going to be Marvellous in May , I am also going to be Fabulous at 50!!

    PurpleIvy....

I soak my oats over night... and i have been known to have them in 2 days:p
I soak them in milk and then when its time for brekkie i add a dollop of fruit yogurt too :D
I have read of soaking them in apple or pear juice...not tried it..but i think i might... i could shove an extra apple through the juicer in the morning and soak them for saturday and then report back ....

Was just talking to my MIL. She has some Lidl pear juice (you know how the 'nectar' is really thick) and soaks her oats in that. I had chopped pear this morning.

    Now to business!!!
Been good I think although I do suffer from oral amnesia- I just forget I've popped things in me gob sometimes:o
    B-Yoghurt and fruit
    L-Tuna pasta salad thingy
    D-Kedgeree maybe

Well I went to my diving place last night and got measured for my wet suit- it was ok as she wrote it all down in centimetres and that means nothing to me:rotfl:
OK Nix if we are going into details my stats are:-
    Lost so far 13lb
    May Challange 5lbs (so far 0 :o  )
    BMI 26.8
Amount left to lose before I get to the magic BMI of 25 is 13lbs so I'm in the middle of my loss:D
At my age I don't want to go below 25 as you get to a point when you have to chose between your face and your figure:undecided

OK where do I find my fat ratio? TDP?
Kentish Maid- It's funny sat here with you in the next villiage at work, perhaps we should meet one lunch for a [strike]drink in the pub[/strike] walk in the countryside?

    Take care all
