    Morning all!

Not sure about this weight loss being easier for younger 'uns, I don't seem to be loosing very much and i'm 25... admitedly I am quite sedantry - it's all I can do to commute to work and back most days :(

Stuck to plan yesterday (Toad in Hole for dinner, carrots, mash) but also had a strawberry split (small kids Iceland one) for desert. And a Jamesons and diet coke ;)

    Today:
B: 1/2 bowl of cereal (OH couldn't eat it) and 1 slice wholemeal w/ cream cheese on!
    S: pear
L: 1/2 carton of red pepper and tom soup, 1 slice wholemeal, carrot
    S: pear again
D: gnocci with mushrooms and onions and pesto. Garlic bread and rocket salad.

Going to pop to Somerfield today, they have half price yogs and cheese. Have 1/2 a packet of low fat cream cheese I need to use up today and tomorrow and don't quite know what to do with it - haven't got much veg or chicken for a pasta bake. Mmmm.. Any suggestions? It's garlic and chive xx

    Morning all,

Am just trying to nip in and read a bit but not been able to post at mo. Am keeping motivated and smiling with all your waffle. Love your waffle. :D

Come hell or high water tomorrow I shall make sure I'm here for all the exciting weigh ins. Can't wait. ;)

I've not worried about food diaries etc this past week as too snowed down with life but I have tried to eat sanely.

Was advised that exercise was good for helping DS1 with his prob so have made numerous phone calls and now have a houseful of equip. Amazing how grateful people were when I dusted it down and took it away from their houses.

Upshot is, to show willing and try and motivate son I leapt onto an huge exercise bike thing with these handles that back and forth (a right art form when you're clueless) and totally knackered myself well plastering a stupid grin on my face saying, ' why don't you have a go in a minute, love? I feel fantastic for a workout.' He stood watching that then burst out laughing saying I was as red as a beetroot.
Twas worth all the pain of that flaming saddle just to see him happy. :T

Right, must get housework done but wanted to check how you all were doing. I might be with you from a distance at the mo but I hope to be back properly when life simmers down. ;)

MrsMc - my chilli peppers are poo at the mo but my tomatoes are winners. :p

    Morning all :D

Back from shopping..yes....again... was good mind -really just needed to top up salad n fruit:A just picked up a couple of iceberg, 2 pots of ittty bitty tomatoes, some krautsalat :D , a pineapple and some tuna, oh and a tub of tzatziki for hubby ..i usually make it but this is good for hubbies breadstick munchies and is really nice and cheaper than making it

Anyhow ..this morning it is overcast but bloomin muggy...good for the veggies NOT for me :o ..horrible n ticky it is..still i have done what i need for today :T

Got back from shopping and made myself a fresh pineapple n grapefruit juice nomnomnom and then some :D ... how i stopped myself from shoving the other 3 grapefruits and a whole pineapple through i will never know :rotfl: I feel really full of energy now..its so refreshing

    meals today..
    1. brekkie -just had it ..my juice :D
    2. lunch -think i might have the other piece of chicken with krautsalat, tomatoes n reetboot
    3. dinner -might have avocado and feta salad
    4. snackies -fruit or yogurts
toniwoty.. have we got caterina, keiss21, on the list..can't remember seeing them :p

Well i will declare an overall loss of 6st 7lbs :D and i set a marvelous may target of 5lbs and i have lost 5lbs so far :j although im hoping to add to that tomorrow..pinkies crossed

ooooh Taplady 4 whole days off again :j ...hope you have some nice things planned

KentishMaid... that WW mentality is a hard one to shake isn't it ..... I have done it so many times.. mind i prefered it when you counted carbs, fat, protein etc.. but even now i will sometimes find myself thinking mmm that would be so many points :wall: ... i dread to think how much money i have given them over the years  ..If i was WW out here i could have a ball if i wanted ready meals..the WW range out here is vast....much better than the piffly range in the UK

Pinkies crossed for those weighing in today :D
right i guess i should go and find something to do..not sure what though  ...don't even need to water the pots at the moment as its been drizzling..
Hubby should be back this afternoon/evening so that will be nice... although i expect him to be shattered :rotfl:

have a great day everyone and keep up the good work :j

Back again! Didn't seem to get posting much yesterday. Finding it hard to keep up. I'm usually on here more on a Wed, but was busy. A good thing, it's harder to find time to stuff one's face.

had a good day food wise... more or less. The soaked oats were lovely. I need to put them in the night before though I think. Does anyone else do this and could offer advice?

Family had pasties that I had made last night, I did different sizes, so I was able to have a really small one, was about the size of a mince pie. I don't want to always be having something different to the rest of them. We had salad, then scandinavian apple pud, which very fruity and with breadcrumbs.

    Today have had oats again.

Lunch...will be salad of some description I think.

Tonight...I think mushroom risotto, will reduce the amt of butter that Delia is so liberal with!!!!

I still haven't planted my stuff out, been too busy sewing.

bobbadog my speciality with soft cheese is pea and ham pasta. basically i stick the pasta on to cook then in a frying pan, little bit of spray oil, some chopped up ham or bacon - whichever is lying around (!), couple handfuls of frozen peas, cook for a few mins til peas are soft, couple tbsp of soft cheese in the pan then stir in the pasta with maybe a tbsp of the cooking water (depends hows runny or not you want the sauce) dish it up then grate a bit of cheddar on top and give it a stir thru and you get that nice gooey texture. YUM! and takes all of 10 minutes.
i have to agree about age too - i'm only 22 and i struggle to lose it. i think some people just generally struggle with weight buy it gets harder for everyone with age- even those skinny people who boast they can eat anything
