Thank you very much for that information Mrs M. It's good to have as much information as I can.
I do try to have a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg but didn't know the bit about the ones to eat in moderation. I hardly every eat processed foods so it's good to know I am getting that right. I'm not so sure about the moderate exercise - at the moment I don't think moderate is quite the word I'd apply!!

It was the bit about cauli etc that amazed me...you would never suspect a humble veggie of interfering with anything would you
mmmm don't think the amount of exercise you do could ever be called moderate :rotfl:
Just thought i would type the whole bit so i didn't cause any confusion-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Thanks Mrs M:T
I do a mixed bean salad that's similar so I'll chuck some quinoa in with it - never thought of adding a grain to it
I was really late home tonight, OH is stuck at work with a crisis so I called at my daughter's and played with the grandkids for a bit
I had mash, cabbage, quorn sausage and HM onion chutney for tea. Plenty of leftover veggies for bubble and squeak tomorrow:drool:
Not looking forward to my journey home tomorrow because of the footie:mad: I have to go past Eastlands (where the match is) to get home and short of having the day off (not an option) or doing a 10 mile detour in rush hour I'm going to get stuck:mad:  in traffic! The B&S with a 'fried' egg might placate me when I get in:rolleyes:
OH has just sent me a text to say he might be there all night:doh:

Quick post, couldn't get onto the site, it's only just let me... now it's time for bed!
Well done losers:T and welcome newbies:hello:
Brilliant idea toniwoty, and thanks for taking the task on!:T
New cozzie held out and I didn't drown so all in all the swim was a success, we're going to try and make it a regular thing. I'd forgotten how ravenous swimming always makes me though, good job tea was already planned and quick or I'd've happily devoured the whole kitchen!
See you tomorrow folks!0 -
What a beautiful name
Wasn't she due on my Birthday? April 20th
Thanks! And yes, she was due on the 20th. Had to be admitted beforehand to be induced though as I had pre-eclampsia.
Not sure exactly how much I put on - I too stopped getting on the scales once I hit 14 stone, think I went up to 14 and a half. Glad I just have a stone to lose to get to pre-preg weight, but then I still have a fair way to go to reach a weight I will feel good at.
I realise I have to keep certain things out of the house. Breakfast cereal I smother with sugar and lots of ice-cold milk for lovely snacks. And bread I can eat all day long, with lots of butter or peanut butter, or honey. I should really ban sugar from the house too but think OH would rebel. I got rid of salt a year ago, don't keep it in the house at all now and hardly notice it's gone.
So far for breakfast I've had an apple. Might make a couple of poached eggs a bit later. Been up with bubba since 5 so has been difficult not to snack!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Morning All,
Another lovely morning here
Just a quickie to say well done Toni for taking care of the tally :T That's really good of you.
By the end of the day I will have stopped sulking about the fact that I am SO far down the list when I should be at the top, and that I'm in black when I should be in green(  )
Have a good one peeps xxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

WI today - I've put on 1/2 a lb  I don't understand as I've eaten healthier this week than I have in MONTHS, years even
I can't remember whether I'm due on this week or next week though - if its this week then that'll have something to do with it. I hope that's what it is or it doesn't make any sense. I have been a bit moody the last couple of days but I thought that was because I've hurt my back.
I'm not giving up though, I'll call it a blip and carry on eating properly, tempting as it is to live on celery for the next week! Doesn't look good for my May target thoughSuppose I'd better update the sig .....

I was wondering - does anyone have a nice hm coleslaw recipe? I am getting through loads of the waitrose supreme coleslaw and it's expensive! But it's the nicest supermarket one I've found so don't like buying cheaper versions elsewhere.
