Hello everyone,
Been ahem absent. Both boys have been ill with viruses and everything went to pot!!!!
Havent been watching what im eating, been binging on rubbish especially chocolate and takeaways.
Today however, is a new day again (how many times do I say that lol). Going to the gym today. DH got me lessons with a personal trainer for my birthday so, im going to book them, cos, I go on holiday o the 22nd June, and i need to lose about 1 stone to fit into the clothes ive bought.
The personal trainer will also check my body fat etc, and I will need to fill out a food diary. The reading stuff I got said that I shouldnt look at calories, but, fat content. It says that anything less than 3g of fat per 100g & less than 1g of fat which saturates per 100g is good to eat, anything more than that should be avoided if possible. To reduce portion sizes and increase fruit and veg which is what all of you have been saying.
So, I will do that today.
So far, ive had a bowl of fruit N fibre with s/s milk, a cup of tea and a cup of coffee.
The plan for lunch is a banana sandwich and for dinner, baked potato with beans.
Snacks will be fruit and/or yogurts.
Will try not to stay away too long next time, and I will try to catch up later on.
Hope everyone is well.

Who's a so far! good mumma then! I've been sat here nibbling on some cauli stalks:D
So far I've spent almost an hour 'listening' to me muvva on the phone even tho we're out together later, but thankfully she caught me just as I was signing on here. So if I get a bit con-fussed it's cuz I was drifting twix her droning on & trying to read the posts. I can usually manage an "mmm" & "yeah" in the right places, but then it all goes silent & I have to frantically try to work out what she's asked me:eek: I'm glad she called me this morning, & whatever I missed then she'll repeat later over lunchI really should be thankful that she still lives independantly at 83 yo, but I'm the only one she has any real contact with---apart from my brood of course---so it can be a tad wearing at times:o
Anyways, as I was saying, luckily I'd put a laundry load on, started the BM, made No1 lunch box up & tea for us both, then spent an eternity slicin n dicin various bits in readiness for tonight's stir fry.......hence the noshing on a cauli stalk:cool2:
So the Cook's Perks have given me a rather lovely brekkie of white & red cabbage, carrot, celery, cauli, red & green pepper. I've left out onion for now cuz Pup can't have that, but I'll bung some in for us, plus a bit of garlic in the oil along with rooms & bean sprouts. Then whatever is left will make a slaw for Iggie, & us tomorrow to fill some pittas.
Oooh arn't I organised! Won't last tho:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Have a Good One!!!Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Morning everyone,
and a big WOOHOO from me :j :j :j
i got on the scales this morning and i`m down to 15 st 4lb so thats another 1lb lost.
I`m going to update my siggy with my loss this time as i`ve been a bit up and down a pound here and there the last few days but i am sooo pleased with this. It`s around 4 years ago that i got this low so i`m hoping to keep going. There`s only 4lb to go now to get to 15st and after that i`m looking soooo forwards to seeing the magical number 14 on the scales.:j :j :j
Jackie_w - good luck with the personal trainer
right down to the important bit
today i will be mostly eating
BF toast
Snack yogurt
Dinner sandwich or tortilla with salad and probably cheese
Tea either chinese chicken salad or tortillas with meatballs and salad
Some things depend on how much time i`ve got left after walking the houndlets so what ever dosen`t get eaten today will get eaten tomorrow.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Hello everyone - hope you are all okay and still enjoying the nice sunshine. It is very warm here again today so I have yet another line of washing out and another one in the washing machine. Didn't have any breakfast because I had an appointment with the cardiologist at 9am and my tummy was all nervous, so am just having a cappucino now and will have lunch at about 12ish I think. Cardiologist commented on my swollen ankles and gave me some water tablets so will have to see if that helps. I have to go for a 24 hour ecg tape on Friday, because of my palpitations, so I hope that is okay.
Food today:
Lunch hm cauliflower cheese (got lots of milk to use up as sell by date was yesterday.
Dinner - chicken salad with jacket potato, followed by hm baked egg custard.
Hope you are all okay.Jane

Hi all,
I'm really busy at the moment so hard to post- I'm dead jealous of you lot enjoying the sunshine managing to get your washing out and do gardening etc. Working full time and running round after 3 kids leaves me little time:(
Not sure how the diet is going I've been stuck STS for a couple of weeks and need to take stock and see what I can do to get it going again:huh:
I'm like mrsm and tend to snack more in the summer- winter is easier for me filling up on big wholesome meals, in the summer I just graze all day eating small amounts that add up horrifically:rolleyes:
Anyway plan for today
B yoghurt and digestive
L Ham roll and fruit
D Pork chop with roast squash and pears
Well done to all you that have lost, you are my hero's :wave:0 -
Just logged in and the front door bell rang - the Bee houses have arrived so guess what I'll be doing next
. And another thing to celebrate - the peas are appearing :T . Haven't looked at the spouts this morning as I've been shopping and dowgie walking till now. Only had breakie at 10.30, it was sooooo much nicer for the wait
. Frogga if my little tadpoles turn Veggie on me when they become frogletts, they can hop off into someone elses garden. They need to earn their keep by chomping on my blooming slugs. I daren't put down anything chemical incase the hedgehog or dogs eat it.
I bought a new battery for the pedometer I've had lurking in a drawer for years today, so will be interesting to see how much I do walk. I'm on my feet most of the day but alot of it's standing which is probably why my legs look like a relief map of the Andes:eek: .
What a fantastic lot of losers we have :j :j :T :T . You are truely Marvelous in May, and inspirational. Well done girls!
Toniwoty I for one would be grateful if you took on the role of 'tally keeper' for us. What a good idea, and we could all see how we've done under each month heading, and see which month is best (don't hold out much hope for December).
Right off to tackle the washing up that mysteriously appears over night and then it's diy Bee housing for me. Have a great day all.

Hi guys,
Haven't been on here for ages, have been totally snowed under! Well done losers, everyone is doing great! Is there a new challenge up & running? Can someone fill me in.
I doing well, total loss now of 1st 10lb's! Another 3lb & I 'll be under the 16st mark. This will feel so good, the 15st bracket is still big but I will feel more human at this weight. Being 16st something makes me feel enormous.
Food today:
B. - semi skimmed milk & shredded wheat
L. - fruit smothie, maybe some toast but not sure
D. - chicken breast & medley of veg:eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Hi everyone, haven't been on for a few days but stuck to my eating plans. Weighed in yesterday morning - still 10stone 2lbs, haven't lost any but then my "friend" is here. Did run my 5k on Sunday, woohoo, was very chuffed - tho have to admit I walked a lot too, lol! I'm off work for the next couple of days, which means I can sleep late and only eat a large breakfast then dinner, with snackettes of fruit in between. So, yesterday I had:
B - sliced ham, cheese, tomato, boiled egg & a slice of buttered whole-wheat toast
S - fruit
D - chicken, vegetables & pasta in pesto sauce
Today will be:
B - fruit, granola & Greek yoghurt
S - fruit
D - chicken & avocado salad
Right, am off - have a job interview later today, wish me luck!0 -
