Well done Pebbles:T and mhe:T !!
2lb off here too, mind it was the 2lb I put on last week but at least it's off again... for now!
Going swimming tomorrow after work for the first time in years. Had to buy a cozzie today.... quite an ordeal that was too:eek: ... but eventually found one that doesn't look too grotesque. That's not to say it looks good, but I shouldn't be too embarrased in the split second it'll take me to fly from the changing room to being submerged in 6 feet of water! Right, off to mow legs....
Keep up the good work ladies!0 -
Hello and well done to Pebbles, mhe and droopydrawers:T Ooh pebbles - do you mean the Longley Farm cottage cheese? I get it in Morrisons and it is about 75p for a tall tub (250g) and it is just lovely - I like it better than philadelphia or cheddar. I get all three varieties: plain, chives and pineapple and I can eat all three of them just out of the tub like a yoghurt. They aren't VERY low fat but they are low fat and they taste soooo much nicer than any other brand of cottage cheese that I have ever tried. I must go out and get some as I haven't been to Morrison's for a couple of weeks and you can't get it anywhere else that I know!
We are still wading through the two extra large chickens which I got at the weekend by mistake (ordered 2 on the Siansburys order by accident and only realised when the woman had gone and no room in freezer for the spare one). After my little visit to McDonalds today I was going to have nothing at all for tea, but I did get hungry so I had some chicken and a quarter of a bag of salad leaves (the one with the red cabbage and carrot etc in) and about a tablespoon coleslaw and a small piece of baguette with all the doughy inside scraped out, followed by some strawberries and a merringue nest. It was all lovely! About half an hour ago I had a piece of boiled ham and a handful of dry fruit and fibre cereal - don't know why, just found myself in the kitchen. Tomorrow I am going to get properly back on the wagon.
Did any of you watch the Tonight with Trevor McDonald programme on food costs tonight? They used a family of four who were spending £200 a week on supermarket shopping and got them to cook from scratch and they only spent £46 in the week and their meals were much healthier. I am terrible with supermarkets - I love going round and chucking stuff in the trolley so now I do it online so that I am not tempted. I have got my bill down from over £100 to around £70 doing that and I am aiming to get it alot lower than that - mind you if DD1 goes away to university then my food bills will drop dramatically - her and the bf eat for England!
Anyway hope you have all had a good evening.Jane

Thanks pebbles, I know you're right. I cheered myself up by having a light dinner of scrambled egg on toast (I don't get too hungry in this heat) and then going to the open mic night we always go to and belting out a few tunes. That always puts me in a good mood (and the double Jack Daniels I treat myself to once a week doesn't hurt either;)) Plus I asked my boyfriend if he like me the way I am and he said "Of course I do you silly poo head" (which fortunately is our term of endearment for each other - its funny the names you call each other isn't it? Or is it just us that's weird?:p)
Well done losers - can't remember who you all are but pebbles, mhe, tattycath's DD and droopydrawers come to mind :T
(((((Hugs))))) to M.E. , Queenpig, RS and anyone else who needs them:D
Enjoy the X trainer Nix, I'd love one of those!
Anyway, I'm off to bed now, early start tomorrow - good night!0 -

oh well thats my 'thing' for this week then...!
prob doesn't help that i made some yummy banana and honey; and banana and maple syrup cupcakes. they're very nice and have no eggs in and only 4 tbsp of marg between 24  if anyone wants the recipe, let me know.
food for today-

hopefully should be able to get some exercise done pottering around today and then the walk to DS nursery.

hello folks me again,
remembered someone mentioning about keeping tally of our weight loss like they do another thread (sorry i've totally forgotten who said it!!) so had a look at the Lose Weight 20 thread on the I Wanna board. I'm quite happy to keep a tally of everyone and how much they've lost if people wanted me to? they also have things like 'slimmer of the week'. What's everyone's opinion?Disneyworld Florida in August 2011 :jLost so far: 0 lbs of 4stMother of beautiful son with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy0 -
Morning all
Just a quick one as hubby should be home soon and then we are off to get some compost and a salad/fruit top up
got 2 loads of washing on the wurly gig..its boiling out there allready  .. a loaf of bread rising in the bowl and a chicken in the oven ..so got off to a good start
meals today :-- brekkie -just had a pear/apple/melon n kiwi juice nomnomnom and will probably have 1 weetabix in a moment
- lunch - hubby might be playing golf so if i don't go with him...probably fruit and a yogurt
- dinner -chicken salad and potatoes mmmm
- snackies -fruit or yogurts
I have developed quite a liking for the quinoa and mixed bean salad i concocted the other day ..i finished the last of it off yesterday so need to get some more beans in to soak... i have been avoiding the quinoa for ages..but now i really like itgreat to be using stuff up and its super healthy :A :rotfl:
Yesterday i was really good-especially considering i was on my own unsupervised all day..i even sliced the rest of my super seedy loaf and froze it in 6x2 slices and left the allbran cake alone... i have worked out th cals in that cake and its roughly 1400 cals so even if i only get 14 slices out of it..100 cals a piece is rather good and there is no fat or egg in it :j ...not bad for a make it up as you go along job
Well done on the losses ladies :T
got to dash as hubby has just arrived
have a great day :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning everyone, well done the losers :T. Well my 'friend' has arrived at last, I'm getting increasingly pre-menstrual these days and spend about 3 days on verge of tears every day so it's a relief when it finally happens. Now only have 2 days of crippling agony and I can get on with the rest of the month
. Someone make me take my B6 next month will you?
No meals planned for today - it'll be porridge for brekkie as normal and then I'll sort something out *shrugging*. Managed to not have the pre-friend binge this month though which is good.
Have a great day everyone xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
