    Evening all,

Beautiful weather here to-day, spent morning shopping with OH not happy making...he hates shopping and kept disappearing 'for a minute'...really for a smoke so everything longer than it should.

    To-day I have eaten:

    Porridge, plum and cup of tea (no milk);
    Flat bread and butter;
Spare rib, small piece barbecued steak, 2 baked potatoes, onions

    Have a nice evening everyone

I'll look at the name when I get home, I got it in Sainsbugs, never seen it before but thought it sounded good.

RS - it's Westland Slug Blocker, it's in a grey and green bottle with a green lid and I got it at Sainsbury's but if it's Westland it should be available in most places, looking good so far, no more damage this morning:D

Just had SW wedges, SW quiche and salad for my tea - yummy:D might have a yoghurt in a bit and a hifi bar for supper.

No offence meant Frogga;) , I'm a veggie myself but I hope your relatives (and there are LOTS of them) on my allotment are still eating the slimy monsters :T

    See you later folks :A

    Hi all

Having a bit of a down day at the moment. Have been feeling much slimmer and made the mistake of trying to get some cut-off trousers for work. I tried on my usual size and could even do them up:confused: Had to get the next size up which still don't really fit right so I won't feel nice in them. Think I'll just take them back tomorrow and suffer in long trousers. Then I hurt my back at the end of the day. Its not too bad but very uncomfortable so it didn't improve my mood. I have a feeling I won't have lost anything when I WI on Wednesday and I've tried my hardest yet this last week to eat good. Plus I've done lots of running - it doesn't make sense. I'd assume I'd maybe reached my natural body weight or something if I didn't know I was 1stone 4lb lighter 18 months ago

Oh well, I suppose I should just cheer up and wait and see what the scales say on Wed. It's so tempting to undereat in an attempt to beat the scales but, having had a dubious relationship with food in the past, I'm determined not to do that. I'll just have to relocate my new found feeling of healthy slimness:o It must be round here somewhere........

    Hello Peeps!

well weather here has been rubbish last 2 days, been proper pea soup type fog!!, still my plants have enjoyed it!! and best of all, my chilli plants are now getting their 2nd leaves - its about time too!!!

i have a sneaky confession too, i normally weigh in on a friday, have been doing it once a week but thought i would try every 2 weeks , anyhow, i cracked today and i v chuffed as i have lost 1.5 pounds since last weigh in, taking me under the 17st mark, which i havent done in years!! its been like my demon as i could always get to 17.1, and then stick!! and then gain!! so i am as pleased as punch!!!

picked up a exercise bike i won on ebay too today and have done 30 mins on that tonight, I WILL get into the clothes i have bought for my hol!!!

on subject of quark - i cant stomach it either, but i dont like low fat cottage cheese either, but since reading this thread i have left low fat products behind and can honestly say i love normal cottage cheese (cant remeber name but i get it from mr M and its quite cheap, a tallish tub....)

Queenpig - glad you have had something to eat ((((hugs)))), it'll give you strength to clobber dh if needed!! :rotfl:

NIX - well done on cross trainer - i have one and they are a killer but they work!

Superspam - the sizes in shops have gone crazy lately, in evans i now have to get a 24 in tops when i used to get 18/20, yet i weigh less now  so i wouldnt worry, i also think they have changed the cut in most shops too.

RS - ((((HUGS)))) tomorrow is new day, i would tell your dd1 to make her own way to college if she is going to treat you like this over and over, has there been any more developments on her taking your card and the shopping spree??

night night all you marvellous in may people!!

Had a not so good week health, wealth and foodwise.
    Today different story.
Made Hogwart's or Bottom drawer soup.. any vegetables that lurked at the bottom of the fridge whilst we were away, plus half the spinach patch that had gone to seed:(... souped up and Whizzed... very tasty.
Tea was , guess what... spinach and onion scrambled egg on a Lidl seeded brown bread from a mix, that weighed a ton and took ages to chew, but was very tasty:rotfl:
    Then a yogurt.
All ingredients had been in the fridge anyway and also were originally from the reduced section.. so quite OS and healthy too.
Bought some milk before the shops shut and picked up some leeks and rhubarb for 19p.
So I think leek soup and rhubarb crumble tomorrow!!

evening everyone - lost 2lbs this week - hopefully im back on track after falling off the wagon and thinking "is this it for the rest of my life?!?!?!?!?" when i looked at a ryvita and then deciding dieting wasnt worth it. Had a change of heart in Marks changing rooms - those mirrors are very unforgiving - so ill be looking at each ryvita and lettuce leaf with new found love (for a week or two anyway)

    Hi all,

Strange day food-wise for me, didn't eat anything all day until 6.30pm because I just didn't feel like it because of the heat :)

D: Baked pollock with SW potato wedges and mushy peas
S: 4 squares of Cadbury dream white choc and an apple
Supper: Wholemeal pitta with laughing cow light and cucumber

I probably won't be around for a few days as I have to go away for work which is always hard going as hotel food and eating out don't make for an easy time. At least I know where there is a supermarket nearby so I can stock up on fruit.

Have a great week all :)
