So much for being good this week - had a sneaky curry last night. To be honest we don't have many takeaways, and if we do it is usually a chinese or a chicken kebab. Curry was nice but was like lead in my tummy when I went to bed - and I didn't eat much,
had it on a small plate and had a bit of rice, bread and the meat, and a bit of bhaji.
Onwards and upward - today's plan is:
B Muesli, fruit and yog
L ham salad bagel, Yog and fruit
D Meatloaf, mash and veg
Some biscuits are also on the menu today, as someone had left some in the staff roomAnd am planning walk - swim - walk tonight. I have also been trying to make sure I choo choo my food well and I have noticed recently that I am not needing so much to feel fuller :T so it must work!
Congrats to all losers and STS - keep going everyone :j

:hello: Hello!
I have been lurking for a while! Please can I join in? I could do with losing a stone in weight but 1/2 a stone would do for now! My bp is all over the place now, not so high I am going to panic but high enough to monitor, the highs are possibly due to stress but still needs sorting so this is day 2 of healthy eating old style and I already feel better now that I am doing something positive about it all. I'm drinking lots of water! there are some lovely recipes on here!:T
Breakfast - slice of hm Granary toasted with benecal spread, Black tea
Snack - hm banana, orange and cranberry juice smoothie
Lunch - last nights leftover broccoli, pea, gammon (fat cut off) and pesto wm pasta
green tea
snack - hm frozen fruit salad (no sugar added)
dinner - oven baked fish parcels, carrots, broccoli and sweet potato
Treat - 1 small glass red wine, hm dried fruit:D
DD has bought me some yoga balls to tone up the top of my arms, only on 5 repititions so far and I took puppy round the field early this morning, just need to find my exercise dvd, I use the one from Help the Aged as it is gentle cos I have cfs/me

Hello,
I was lurking here while pregnant, trying not to be too much of a piggy but ended up with a big cake fetish for the last 2 months of the pregnancy.
Weighed myself at Boots today to check the damage and I'm 13st 8lb - one stone heavier than pre-pregnancy so could be worse. Want to make a concerted effort to lose it now though as feel very uncomfortable and no clothes fit!
My eating habits are bad though and I am sugar addict. My concession to the diet today consisted of buying strawberry split ice lollies fromn aldi because they are only 55 calories and might see me through the cakey pangs. Had 2 already.
Today i have eaten:
breakfast: grapes, apple, bread roll with butter and golden syrup (!)
lunch: prawn salad sandwich, grapes, 2 ice lollies
Room for improvement I think. Will be good to exercise more as well once me stitches stop hurting.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

JoJo...how old is your baby...don't try to do anything drastic for several weeks after birth, especially if you are breastfeeding..just try to cut down on the sugar, that won't do any harm...remember, baby steps.
Congratulations on baby...

Hi Everyone!
Back still hurts, I can't stand up straight and I'm feeling a bit fed up  I have not yet turned to food for comfort as I usually would. I am remembering its WI time for me tomorrow and I have to be extra good as I can't exercise.
Jane - hope all goes ok for you Fri, I've had one of those too and everyone at work thought I had something really seriously wrong with me so I got spoilt all day (even though I explained it was nothing to worry about)- hope you get spoilt too!;)
jlynncs - Good luck with your job interview!:D
Today I have eaten;
B - banana shake
S - Banana
L - two small granary rolls with chicken and salad, 6 cherry toms and half an avocado
S - one small granary roll with chicken and salad
Plan for dinner is omelette, salad and maybe a few oven chips:pyum. Going to try and relax on the sofa with BF tonight and watch a film, fortunately the weather has cooled a little so I can stand having a hot water bottle on my back.
Welcome newcomers and returnees:D, congrats to losers :T and (((((hugs))))) to those that need them :A0
