Hi
Didn't do meal plan for today.
Have just had sm amt grapefruit and then porridge with some dates in! (not very good I know, but I was cutting them up to stew with rhubarb and some just jumped in the dish!) It was delish and hopefully stop any damage till lunchtime.
I'm in work shortly for an hour and a half. Then plan to do either gardening if weather is still OK, or sewing more stuff for chorus if it isn't.
Lunch will be salad, tuna and bean with a few bits of other stuff on it. It's ready made in the fridge, just need to remember to get it out half an hour before, so it isn't toooooo cold.
Dinner, not sure, no veggi dd tonight, so hope something salad based, will see what I can find. Might be potato wedges and corned beef for ds/dh. will have to see."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Soz folks, but I've come back to [STRIKE]torment[/STRIKE] share with you once more.....
Well Done on the losses this week--guess the sun is helping more than we realised:rolleyes: Thoughts of salads & getting moving in the garden are obviously easier this glorious weather:p
Don't fret STS-ers, probably a blip on the fluid in vs. fluid out, plus the ice cream temptation. Ditto to us Glorias too:o
I was pleased to pine-cones at the beginning of the week, cuz I managed my revised BH challenge----ok, they are still B-I-G grannypants, but I can't abide those bits of dental floss that pass for modesty patches anyhow----but I kinda let my success go to my belly:( Oh the new undies still fit, but instead of giving me the oomph to capitalise on the loss, I've got a bit smug about it so need to get me arris sorted pretty quick.
RS, those fruity chunky things sound right up my taste buds alleydon't s'pose there's a brand name on them? We haven't got the netto/aldi/costcutter advantage down here, & I'm not going to pay H&B prices....
RW, I'm waiting on results too...part of me is hoping there's something cuz I'm soooo ssssllllloooooooooooowwwww at everything compared to even me muvva & she's in her 80s:eek: But having said that, my thoughts are with you & yours MrsM---ain't life a bee-arch at times:o
Better beetle orf & make the most of the cooler morning....catchas L8R.:wave:Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Just read your post Pebbles:mad:   I'm fuming!!!!!
Why do these people think they can talk to us like it! I had a similar chat with a lovely ward sister, & even she agreed that if I were a drug user/anorexic/alcoholic & anyone else who abuses their systems with unnecessary chemicals or destructive actions, I would be innundated with professionals offering sensible advice & support...but how the dickens are you supposed to avoid food & stay healthy:mad: Aaaaarrrgh! I could hold a cup of cold water in my hands now & make a cuppa in less than a spit I'm sooooo cross!
****Just also wanted to say, particularly to fellow victims of life's cruel jokes, it's good to know these luvverlee peeps are here to help us get back up when we stumble.....hope I can do the same for yooze too. Sometimes we can share things we would rather not burden our families with, & to me that is as valuable--if not more so--as the recipes. Thank you all, & Safe Journeys. x

Morning all,
ABSOLUTELY BLOOMING FANTASTIC FROGGA & MRSM & girl least likely to:T :T :j :j . Well done the girls. MRSM you'll soon be overweight!! That was my goal for my birthday in March, and I was so thrilled when I made it.
Don't get down hearted Rockie, now you're feeling less sore it will soon come off again along with more of the little lbs.
Cheerfullness, :grouphug: you must have been to hell and back. So glad you're son is now safely back. It's such a worry I know as my DS1 also suffers from depression. He spent a year not able to leave the house when he was 19, panic attacks and depression. Dreadful time as we felt so powerless to help him.
Pebbles it's amazing how some people have the jobs they do when they have the sensitivity of a brick, and a rude one at that. I went to see the doctor about my foot a few years ago after I'd hurt it falling over the dog and down a step. The first thing he did was weigh me then he said, 'now I'll get on the scales', followed by 'see I weigh less than you and I'm taller' . Condescending BLEEP!! What the hell that had to do with falling over the dog is beyond me.Don't let her get you down, it's her job to make you better not worse so it sounds like she failed, not you.
Well girls, (avert you're eyes from this next bit fella's) I've just got to tell you how blooming fantastic my new undies are. Worth every penny in the boost to my self confidence. I no longer fall out of the gap between the cups as with my old bra's:eek: , and I can honestly say I've never had such a good fit. The lady who fitted me was an absolute gem. As for the lacy panties, well, how sad is this, I'm looking forward to hand washing then and hanging them on the line. Such a change from the old bloomers!:D I also had a bath and tested out all the various potions I bought in Body Shop. I'm now was soft as a babies bottom and smell like a fruit salad:rotfl: :rotfl: .
As the weather's a bit damp at present (good for the newly planted veggies) I'm going to have a house cleaning day today. Though my mind keeps wandering to the garden. DH bought me a long handled hose extension for the hanging baskets, last night, saying 'you need this my little Von Smallhausen', yes Herr Flick.
Have a good day folks,

Pebbles - That's awful:mad:   I would put a complaint in about her! Who does she think she is?????
Well done on resisting the binge though :T :T :T
So much for my good intentions, one of the guys has brought doughnuts in cos it's his birthday :doh:0 -
i am failing miserably on my diet, but have decided that if i set out a daily allowance, say 1200 calories and i list all i eat and find their calorific value if i have strayed and eaten a doughnut or chocolate bar once i have reached my daily allowance i will not be able to eat dinner or whatever. trouble is i have googled etc and all i keep coming up is either sites that require you to join and pay at least £2.99 a week or american sites that dont recognise half of the things we eat in the uk. can anyone help????
anyone up and about now bored who can help?0 -
Perhaps you missed my reply, home alone.
you can get a free trial at www.weightlossresources.com there's an american version and a UK on, also you can have a free trial to see if you like it.
I know some people here like DailyPlate which I believe is free up to a point.
Editing.. also OP is correct in what she says about going too low with calories, you also risk not getting adequate nutrition from your food if you don't have enough."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Well, Looks like Plan A has gone t*t$ up. Just consumed the end of a Ben and Jerrys, which was lurking in the freezer. I had to go to the cellar to see if any of the gardening stuff was put there when we were doing the extension. It wasn't, but I remembered the icecream from the other week.
I've been feeling really down for the last couple of days, nothing too specific, but weepy and incompetent, keep doing stupid things. I struggle in warmer weather anyway, I know my BP is down, doesn't help. Now I'm cross about the icecream. think I'll go now when I've finished my coffee and see if I can find what I need. Must change first as still inwork things. DH says he will make a space for my few gardening things in his new garage. He has most of the cellar too. I have the middle room, which is undergoing refurb at the mo, but that will be to work in as well as 'stuff'. Might see if I can commandeer some other corners of the house as well.
Editing..... just started to rain, so looks like it's sewing for now."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
