winebox I hate swimsuits, not keen on bikinis. Have several of those small tie thingies to cover the bum and tum area when wearing and one year even bought a couple of "swim skirts" to wear over the top so me bum was a bit less off putting for peopleworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

A cross trainer? Is that like Harvey on "Fit Club", someone who shouts " No pain , No Gain lard ar*e!" Not sure that would work for me
- that's the one, you funny wee green thing you! I'm planning on keeping said cross trainer in cupboard under stairs on diet of bread and water to get the best results out if it

just what i thought!
One day, I will have an original thought & not just keep saying to other posts "that's wot I was going to write...."
I've just agreed to go swimming on saturday morning. Reckless I know, have now got to either
a) lose 18 lbs in next 36 hours (actually, that's quite a neat sum isn't it! 1 lb every 2 hours!)
b) contact the Japanese ambassador in case whaling fleet in vicinity of swimming pool at that time.
Hmmm, sounds like a Plan B to me. Am I the only one who manages to look fatter in swimsuit than completely naked? P'raps the distractions on show when starkers (& trust me, I am not talking about attractive here) are the reason. Anyhoo, DD (8) actually informed me last time (I was showing off doing somersaults) that I looked just like a whale, & was a BIT SLOW to correct herself to say dolphin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She was out of hospital the next day
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have decided that it isn't worth being worried about what I look like when I go swimming WineBox - there are plenty out there worse than us. Glad you daughter survivedIf you find the way to lose weight at 1lb every two hours don't forget to tell your friends on here!
Good day here for me (other than having to be at work).
B Granola, Yog and fruit
L Tuna Salad with Coleslaw, Yog and Orange
S Small (28g box) of raisins and apricots
D will be Pizza and Salad (you can see I have salad to be used up;) )
Am off home in a minute and am going to do another walk to the pool - swim - walk home effort. I felt good when I did it the other day and it is tooooo nice to be in the car.

Hello everyone - well done to Sunnyday on your 1lb loss and good luck for all tomorrow's weighers. I get weighed on Saturday morning but am not overly hopeful.....
On the swimsuit front - Bill Gates hasn't got enough money to pay me to wear a swimsuit - or a short sleeved top, or leggins, or crop pants, or a dress of any kind. I always wear the same fat uniform - navy or black wide leg pants and a loose long top, which I always buy 2 sizes too big so it never clings to me IYKWIM. I have about 7 tops which I rotate, but a few are much too warm for this weather, so I am reduced to a couple of cheesecloth tunic things which I have to wash through every night. My wardrobe is bursting with clothes, some of them really expensive ones, which don't fit me any more and which are all probably out of fashion by now! Once the summer is here I always wear the same shoes too - a pair of black birkenstock Heidi Klum sandals (with sparkly rhinestones on). I did buy some Crocs at the weekend but haven't dared wear them out in the street yet.
I have had a good eating day today. Went to the hypnotherapist this morning and she did that tapping thing that Paul McKenna does and I don't know if it worked or not but after the session (which I won't be repeating as it was £70 for an hour and a half:eek: ) it was lunchtime and I was about 17 miles away from home, so I found a Subway and got a ham sub with loads of salad on and was about half way through eating it when I realised I was full so I threw the rest away, along with about a quarter of the packet of Walkers baked crisps I had got to go with it. On the way home I went to Costco and resisted all the cakes, danishes etc and came home and had two slices of wholemeal bread with cottage cheese and a little bit of cold chicken on, an orange and a banana for my tea and I was stuffed afterwards! In costco I bought these fruit chunk things - 40 cals and one fruit serving per chunk - they are basically dried pineapple, mango, strawberry and stuff all stuck together in a chunk. I bought them and had one in the car on the drive home and didn't feel the urge to eat any more, and they were lovely!
I am going to continue with the tapping thingie!
I went out into the garden earlier and found that slugs had eaten the leaves on most of the flowers in one flower bed - I don't know what to do about them - I have put slug pellets down but that just nets me a pile of dead slugs and more keep coming!
Anyway off to watch the Bill now - hope you are all having a nice evening.Jane

Evening all!
I have had another good day. Normally after a few good days and a loss on the scales, the next time I come across cakes, biscuits etc I tell myself - "go on, have a treat, you've earned it!" Today I told myself, "eat that and all your hard work will be wasted". I feel good about it too:D I have planned to have a pudding after dinner on Saturday (apple crumble and custard), because I'm cooking a birthday meal for my sister and if I have to slave in the kitchen all day I'm bloomin well eating what I've cooked and enjoying it! I will also have some summer fruit pudding after Sunday dinner as its just fruit and bread (I use very little sugar) I will make sure I have small portions of both and won't go back for seconds (or thirds as I often do!) This is my plan and I'm sticking to it - honest:p
frogga - I'm glad your feeling nice in your floaty cool summer top today! :T Good luck for your WI tomorrow:D
sunnyday - congrats on your loss! :T
Rose Wood - ((hugs)) I hope the new medication sorts things out for you
RS - well done today - I'm glad the 'tapping thingie' worked for you, it really worked for me with my needle phobia and I've often thought about going back for help with my willpower
Hope everyone has a nice evening :cool:0 -
An individual one????????????? ok then.
You sound like my OH, trouble is he'd eat a family size one :rotfl: and still be as thin as a rake:mad:
Yes just a single individual one.. I ate his brother yesterday for lunch!! lol.. well they are 2 for £1.20.. how could I not scoff the pair?!
I am shattered today.. so off to bed.. can't eat if I am asleep now can I. I forgot what I like about warmer weather.. I don't hurt everywhere!! .. it is like being in heaven! I don't eat half so much.. cos I spend 90% of the day asleep!
I wonder if I could take up jogging while I don't hurt...

Hi everyone,
well todays eating plan changed a bit as i realised that the time had flown and i had to set off for w**k.
BF was a yogurt
Dinner was a beany salad filled tortilla
Snack 1 was carrot dip with thousand island dressing YUM!
Tea was salmon salad
Snack 2 was a pack of quavers
and last but not least supper which i`ve just polished off was a tin of tuna.
That should stop me snacking when i get home from w**k later.
Nix - i have a cross trainer and love it but the doc says i can`t go on it now as it`s making my knees too painful ( i have arthritis in them) hopefully when i`ve lost some of my weight i`ll be able to use it a bit.
Rose wood - good luck, hopefully things will be easier now that your prescriptions been sorted out.
Recovering - whats the tapping thing? the only time i went to a hypnotherapist was for the ciggies, it didn`t stop me smoking but i was soooo chilled, the house could`ve exploded with me in it and i still wouldn`t have cared:D
I`m awful with the clothes thing too, i just keep wearing the same big black stuff day in day out and roasting to death, some of my stuff is so worn now it`s like a tatty greyish colour and i still wear it.:o
Good luck peeps
