Morning everyone
Gorgeous day here but unfortunately I am stuck inside in work...booooooooo!
Well yesterday finished well, didn't eat any rubbish and had a veggie burger with a small jacket spud and felt really full so thats good.
Today will be much of the same:
B: Porridge made with half water half skimmed milk
L: Huge salad with cottage cheeseEither HM curry or fish with veggies
Probably another late one in work tonight so I will have to be careful about snacking but at least I have got plenty of fruit here0 -
What a beautiful morning! Feeling far more human today, thankfully. Slept yesterday afternoon and then again all night so must have needed it. My thoughts are with you MRSM and your family. You are so right in saying worrying does no good at all. The best thing is to always be there for your sis especially if she needs to talk. So often people with cancer feel they don't want to upset their closest family any more than they already are and so don't share their hopes and fears with them. A positive attitude can work wonders and you are proof of that.
Frogga so glad all is much rosier in your pond today. You can't beat a bit of through ventilation on hot days to cool the angst. A hot frog is not a happy frog:D . This time next year you'll look back and laugh, as you'll be strutting you stuff in slinky numbers to make Mr Frog drool:rotfl: .
CONGRATS taplady and Sunnyday well done on that most excellent loss:T .
During the time I was actally awake yesterday I managed to plant up all the huge pots with peas, and sowed a load of beans (still no sign of the originals) from a fresh seed packet. I've got potatoes popping up everywhere and A pepper has appeared too:T . The tomatos are about to flower and the sprouts are going out into the big wide world today, companion planted with marigolds (incase they get lonely) and all covered with fleese to keep the pests off.:D
Had a good long walk this morning with great protector, DH took Pupkin for gallop in the park and her ancientness has been very wobbly today so she might just potter about in the garden with me, see if she's up for a walk later. Foodwise had usual breakie yesterday, salad for lunch with a yogurt and for tea had Yummy Creamy Leek and Gruyere Cheese tart with salad and potatoes cooked with mint (gorgious). Kept a couple of potatoes for my lunch today with salad and beetroot. Tonight's tea will be fish with jacket potato and baked beans.
While I remember, did anyone see Child of our Time last night? The attitudes the children showed to body image was really scary. One little girl when asked which child she thought would have the most friends, out of a line of figures going from under weight to over weight, chose the under weight child and said the most overweight kid wouldn't have many as she wouldn't be very nice.   How dreadful coming from a child of 7. As a kid I got called names like Fatso at school, no wonder I've got so many hangups.
Off now to plant flowers in tubs and baskets, which I should have done yesterday before the bed forced me onto it:p . Enjoy your day all and be as MARVELOUS as you can.:j

Morning ladies :hello:
Gosh! Wot a lot of posts to catch up on!!
Well done Taplady and the other losers :T
MrsM - your shopping sounds cheap! I wish our supermarkets were that good:rolleyes:
Frogga - glad your feeling better today, I knew you'd lose a stone overnight
 to Pigpen and all the rest of us with 'footballers legs'
I'm still a bit stiff and achey this morning, bit miffed as I had to skip dancing last night and I've not managed a swim yet this week  Still, I'll try to get there tomorrow, I should be ok by then! I'm short on steps as well, only managed 5,000 yesterday and I've got the car today..........
I was good last night and stuck to plan which makes a change as I usually go into self-sabotage mode the night before WI
Brekkie was mushroom omlette, baked beans and toast lunch will be a jacket with cottage cheese and fruit (not on the potato!!!!)
Tea???????I've got my SW WI and meeting tonight and I'd better stay (just been weighed the last 2 weeks) so won't get tea until 7ish, depending on the WI result it could be something nice with a salad or a visit to the chipppy!!
See you later folks :A

Hello all! Thanks for the kind words, I am going to move forward from my "blip" last night, am feeling much more positive today. I went for a run this morning at 6am for an hour (well, more of a stagger!) but was impressed how well I managed, must be getting fitter!
Food today:
Breakfast - Tea, 1/2 a grapefruit, porridge
Lunch - HM egg sarnies on whole-wheat
Snack - apple & a banana
Dinner: baked cod with parsley sauce (or I might make a lemon sauce...) & loads of steamed veggies.
Water - aiming for 2 litres
Am going line dancing tonight - never been, so should be a laugh. It also means I'll be burning calories and while I'm out the house I won't be able to binge!
Hope everyone has a good day

Quickie - don't think I have posted today.
B = porridge
L = low fat tuna sandwich, bowl of raw spinach (actually sat with bag on my desk nibbling my way through it) and packet of Walkers baked - I had a craving for crisps!
D = salmon and stirfry
Really struggling today with wanting to snack hence the bag of spinach but its making my teefs feel weird:p. Bidding on an elliptical trainer on Ebay at the minute as the rowing machine is wrecking me (no way to adjust the arms so your arms get boogered before your legs) so I figured a cross trainer would be ideal - and there are a few going cheap on Ebay locally. I can't afford gym membership and even though I really want a Wii Fit I suspect that's just novelty value!
Really looking forward to my weekend - hope you've all got lovely things planned! :T And I know its only Thursday but hey, I am on countdownComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

A cross trainer? Is that like Harvey on "Fit Club", someone who shouts " No pain , No Gain lard ar*e!" Not sure that would work for meSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D
