mrsm smoking is such an odd thing and i have to say as a non smoker i can't see what smokers get from it really. my dad had a heart bypass about 9 years ago and at the time was on 60 cigs a day. day before the op he decided to give up and that was that. he'd tried before then and had angioplasty too but it hadn't been enough of a shove. i always maintain if he could do it almost anyone can. altho he still says if it weren't for his health he would go back to it again  poor thing's diabetic too and mum keeps trying to put him on a diet, he informed her that he if he can't smoke, can't have sugar and can't have nice food he might as well roll over and die :o
my dad...the eternal optimist. keeps telling me his health checks have gone well so he's thinking he might need to sort out a pension :o he always assumed he'd never live that long (he's 53 now). altho he has an apptmt to see a heart specialist 2moro as his blood pressure has gone  again.

    anyway i'm rambling too!....

    Morning all!

Went out to the reunion last night, which was fun. Got home just after 11 (on the last train) and ate my cheese and pickle roll, and had a naughty bowl of cereal too. Late night, but think i'd have had a hangover if i didn't - and I did ignore all of the pub grub! Drinks - large rose' and 3 JD and diet cokes.

Today I have no idea what to eat or when - am going up North to OH's parents for the weekend again. Will grab some soup for lunch I think (or maybe a Greggs sandwhich? There's a £1 voucher on the cheapy board...). Have just had museli with extra raisins in for breakfast. Have quite a quiet weekend planned really - taking my mum shopping tomorrow to Milton Keynes, which will burn off some calories (walking and talking!) and Friday night we're out for dinner at OH's Uncles house. Will lay off the vino a bit, promise.

Need to make a doctors appointment for a repeat prescription like, today, as just dropped my last packet of pills down the lavatory! Oh well! Have a lovely day everyone! xxx

Too much drink in the system me thinks there Bobadog ;)

VERY good news on the new top front................................ It's possibly because I've washed it or because of a little tip that Purple Ivy told me about, but it's not as tight :j It's possitivly hanging off me :D Gosh I almost look waif like ;)
