Right, who's gonna tell Jlynn the rule about top post ? Im suitably cross

Blimey MrsM ~ you have really made me get things into perspective. It's only a little bit of weight to loose for heavens sake. I could have REAL problems like your poor old sis. Thinking of you :A

Jlynn ~ I have not worn a bikini since I was 17 and Mr Frog punched some lad on the nose for staring at my boosoms Dont think I could now even if I got slim again, correction when I get slim again as my boobs are now in a parrallell with my belly button and the stretch marks on my belly from Tadpole 2 ( 10 1/2 lb!) look like a Birmingham road map  That was a very nice post, not sure why you wanted to tell us twice though but very nice all tha same :D ( only teesing;) )

Bobadog dont pay to swim ~ come and jump in my pond for free. It's very nice and there is a lilly in flower at the mo which is a great place to rest after a few laps.

Purple Ivy ~ I like people noticing but it is a double edge sword. It makes me think straight away that they saw just how fat I was to start with , and that they'll notice when I put it on again

Well done on 500 posts Rocks :T See if you can make the next 500 as intelligent as all mine :D Do you think I will have lost only a stone in a week ? I was aiming for at least 3!

    Hi All,

Isn't the weather fabulous at the moment. I have some weather 'widgets' on my computer that show the weather here, in Marbella and in Gibraltar (the latter two being north and south of where we were in Spain) and at present it is warmer here than in Marbella!! I need some new clothes as only have a couple of summery outfits here but keep putting off shopping as I was hoping to buy the next size down if possible. Sorry to hear so many people are finding summer outfits difficult. I prefer them to winter ones I must say, though I was rather horrified at my reflection in what I'd thought was a really pretty turquoise sleeveless dress yesterday. For my walks I tend to wear a pair of cropped cream trousers and a pretty top.

I haven't had one of my long walks today but have walked into town once to go to the butchers and bakers (15-20 min walking) and also cycled in once and went round the block on the way home. OH was tidying the shed and sorted out my bike for me so I thought I'd use it even if it was only for a couple of miles ride. I am going for a longer walk with my friend and her dog later whilst OH watches his favourite tv programmes.

B: Fruit and fibre etc. Fruit juice.
L: HM ham roll (not butter) with cherry tomatoes, cucumber and beetroot. Orange.
D: HM chicken pies with carrots, mushrooms, onions in the pies and green beans on the side. Yoghurt.

Yes please - the person who usually ends up making the cuppas is off work for a few weeks and the blokes in the office don't make many! I refuse to do all the cuppas as it's not fair just coz I'm the only girl

Make 'em all at home too - except when SS1 is after summat - like biscuits ;)

    ]

Ta muchly Frogga. I've just had a banana and now drinking cyber tea. It doesn't really look as if I've done much here today. Been busy all day though!

I am wondering what I'm going to have to eat this evening. As I'm on no-spend-on-food challenge this week I've been using stuff up rather. have made some little quiches using left over stuff. Cheese and onion, turkey and sweetcorn (still using xmas turkey), ham (the last of the xmas stuff, hoooray!) , cheese and onion. Will have enough left to freeze some for another day, particularly useful for Miss Ivy, who is veggie.

Well, the reason why I'm wondering what I will have, is because I'm not particularly fond of pastry/quiche and don't want to 'waste' cals on it. I could have left over bean and tuna salad from lunch time, but would rather have that tomorrow. Normally would have egg and beans, but don't want to use my eggs, as I "need" those for baking!

I just found some sweet potatoes. Can I do one of those like a jacket pot? How long do they take? What's nice with them? I also have some courgettes, don't know why I got those really. Actually I think this is going to turn into mixed roast veg...sweet potatoes, courgettes, tomato, carrot & onions. THanks for your help everyone!

I love them chopped up and roasted with red peppers, carrots, cherry tomatoes and red onions :p

However... courgettes are yuck, as are cucumbers :p

I don't know what I got the courgettes for. Noooo idea. But I'm certainly not going to throw them away! I think you can grate them and put them in muffins, but I don't need that kind of temptation. Also the rest of the household think it's kind of 'weird' putting vegetable in cakes, though some of them can just about tolerate carrot cake!

I think the courgettes may disappear into veg soup sometime. If I take the skin off and whizz the soup they should disappear.

gotta run, Master Ivy will be waiting with his trombone!
