Morning everyone and what a beautiful morning it is! I've just got up :p and am going straight out to front garden to weed and stuff - container gardening I love, proper lawns and weeding I can't stand but it's got to be done as I am letting the street down :D

No idea whatsoever what I'm eating today which is a recipe for disaster LOL. Lets hope that I can have a good day and hopefully STS at tomorrows weigh in as yesterday turned into a complete write off :o

Have a great Bank Holiday xx

Editted to say - the bird song this morning is amazing and I am wearing a vest for the first time this year - woooot! I love this season xx

    Morning everyone :hello:

Hoping to get some housework done today as I feel a bit better even if I have woken up with a face full of pimples, I'm 30 !!!!!!, this shouldn't happen anymore

Todays food is all planned, I find I don't eat erratically if I know at the start of the day exactly what I will have. I had some lovely salted popcorn last night while we watched a film but it was still within my days allowance so I don't feel bad about that :)

B: Fresh canteloupe melon and mango
    L: Leftover lasagne from yesterday
D: Felafel in wholemeal pitta with houmous, tzatziki, tons of salad and corn on the cob

Hope you all have a good day :T
  • Just weighed myself, 2lb ON!!.... not a big surprise after the past couple of days, and most of last week really, and I'm relieved it wasn't even more! Had a lovely time putting it back on though... the sun came out for yesterday's bbq so that was a great success.... so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

I've failed today's BH challenge by 3lb so my aim is to get rid of those little blighters by the next BH, 3 weeks.

Off to sort out today's eating plan (not a clue yet!) then to tackle the shed, which I've been threatening to do for weeks.... sun's out and I've got a day off so no excuses today, that I can think of at the moment anyway...!

Good luck anyone else weighing in today!

oooooooooooooops Droopydrawers ~ never mind matey it's only 2lb. Better than 2 stone :D or even 9 stone :o

Lovely to hear from everyone today :T What a smashing day it is here in Sunny Suffolk. I've been in the garden ALL morning and thought I better come in and sort some lunch out. THe whippets have been in the garden too and keep eating grass and then givving it back to me when we come back in

It's funny you know, I haven't been "bad" for 3 days now and my mood is TOTALLY different. I feel happier, thinner, more possitive and more like my old self. I feel enthusiastic about things and generally more possitive in my out loook.

If I have something "bad" now it will all go out of the window. I know that's not normal. I know I should be able to have some cake or sweets or choccy without feeling like !!!!!! but I know I can't. At the mo I feel "clean" and "bad food" makes me feel "dirty" inside. Mad aint I?

I honestly hear what you say about " a Little bit of something you fancy et.c .." but I just CANT do it. A little bit ALWAYS turns into a big bit :o and then a whopping great binge.

Alcoholics and drug addicts never have "just one" do they? Perhaps I have to be like that with food. Just stay away from stuff that causes a binge. For me that seams to be sugar in all forms except natural like fruit et.c and bad carbs like cake and white bread et.c. I don't know , I can see myself slipping back into the mind of an annorexic again

Anyway, hope you all have as much sunny shine as us this afternoon, post later x

  • Hi girls - well it is gorgeous here. Sun is out and I have had the first real wardrobe crisis of the summer (you know - oh my god, it's warm, I have nothing that fits - I'm too fat. Cue sobbing quietly in corner and resolve to loose 3 stone by Wednesday :D )

Anyhoo - on my own today as hubby on bike run - not sure about Locksbottom SaverSarn, he left here to meet up with mates and seems to be having brekkie at the moment somewhere on route to Hastings.

Have been to Mr Ts for shopping, really only needed fruit and veg but still spent £25 (and there was no wine in that lot either ;) ). Am now catching up on e-mails and you lot before going over to MIL to drop some plants off for her. Spent yesterday in the garden and it looks nice now - well the back does, the front grass is more weed than grass and the bain of my life. Last night was out to pics to see The Eye - good horror type movie, enjoyed (and the bag of minstrels that went with it oopps)

Have also managed this morning to put away a Magnum - it was scrummy!

Off to sit in the sun for a bit now before I go out on my travels.
    Have a good one all

No mate , never been there, don't know what you're talking about ;)

I've been thinking again :D YOu know I'm veggie. I NEVER eat meat. I just don't do meat. Ever. I can agree that it smells nice when I cook it for Mr Frog but it never even enters my head to eat some. YUck! So, if I can tell myself that I need to think the sugar and cakes are not something I eat it could be easy. I don't "do " sugar  Thought it might be worth a try.

Another thing I was thinking about was the power of the mind. When I had Tadpole 1 and 2 I sort of Hypnotised myself and got in a "zone" so that I didn't make a fuss or noise at all. I remember it did sting a bit but pain is all in the mind isn't it? I rekon I could convince myself not to binge. What do ya rekon?

    Hi All,

I had a really early start today as a friend and I went to a carboot sale at 8am. At that time it was dull and grey so I duly put on boots, trousers and jumper. By 10am the sun came out and we were all sweltering! We stayed till 12.30 and I managed to sell the grand total of £8 worth of stuff!! To make matters worse, £3 of that was to the friend I went with. She did even worse, selling nothing but a pair of candelsticks. However, her teenage daughter and daughter's friend sold a fair few bits so all was not in vain.

We then all came home and had lunch outside on the patio. I even had to move into the shade!! Sadly, everyone has now gone and OH has gone to work so I am all alone for the rest of the day. Originally, the plan was to carboot this afternoon and spend the morning with OH but I had muddled up the times with one on Saturday, hence the early start. OH won't be home till midnight and then will be out first thing so I am going to have to occupy myself instead. I think a long walk is on the cards as I didn't manage more than 30 minutes yesterday.

B: Muesli with skimmed milk and rasins.
Snack at carboot sale: Banana and Coke (Coke bought on special offer last night to get some change for the float)
L: 1/3 baguette with salmon, tomatoes, beetroot and cucumber. Frozen raspberry yoghurt.
D: Not sure yet but something easy like egg on toast as I don't have to do a meal for OH.
    Snack: Orange.

Have a good day everyone. Hope you are all getting some Bank Holiday sunshine too.

KM - this was me this morning too!! :p:D

im not a summer person really, i was born in Jan and i LOVE winter!! but i must say i do like spring as its not too hot for me.

i pottered in garden yesterday with my tubs of veg and a couple of hours later i was covered in little bumps all over my arms, it happens every year, where ever the sun touches me, i know its not prickly heat as i went to the doc but its still itchy as hell!! i only started getting it when i was 16 too so i dont know what it is:confused:

im lucky enough to never have got sunburn (thankyou Grandma and grandad for your genes!!) but it still drives me nuts, i just wish i had a pool like you get on holiday in my bk garden so i could wallow in there and attend to my pots!! Hee hee:rotfl:

Frogga - glad you are feeling better, i agree that you do feel 'dirty' if you stray off track so to speak!! (doesnt always stop me doing it though :o )

hope you all enjoy the rest of the lovely day!!
Please be nice to all moneysavers!
