Hanging on by my fingernails Froggabut just in case I've got the norty corner all set up with a load of out of date battenburg - it's on bog off at Morrisons at the minute
And I yaffed my erse off at the tadpole story - bless their grubby lil hearts, nippers can't half drop you in it, can't they? The number of times I've stood there with my  face cos mine has let slip something he shouldn't.................
The eating in secret thing...................*coffs*........................I had a bit of a thing for Greggs pies...............I know, I know..................anyway I would volunteer  to go get everyone lunch from Greggs, buy myself pies (note the multiple sssssss there), troff them in the car then walk back into work with a healthy sammich and pretend I was being good! Madness. Like anyone at work cared what I ate. Anyway this went on for a while until I walked into work and woman I worked with said 'Why've you got crumbs in your scarf?' - me sottage rolls had flakey exploded all over me chest and I hadn't noticed. At least I always remembered to wipe me mouth though - I do haz some manners

HI cheerfulness ~ I know you are right, but I think I dont concentrate hard enough on being good. I dont want to cope any other way, sometimes I really WANT to binge, until after
yeah I know that feeling... reckon a few of us do. And let anyone try to come between us and the binge... my DS1 once said I was scary if anyone did.
Been a while since I've felt the need, with the exception of the magnum last week (which I personally don't count..piff hardly a binge  )
Pigpen - we all carejust Froggas got her head on back to front this week.
Nix - what you said about the pies reminds me of my dad. For years he kidded us on that he was eating healthily at work and scorned us for being so weak willed.
At his retirement party I was sat chatting with the girls in his office and they were telling me how much they'll miss the buns and burgers lunches he used to have with them. 20 odd years he had been scoffing rubbish and then coming home and eating poached fish and steamed veg and we fell for it. :mad:AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Oh Blimey Piggy I'm SO SORRY!!!:A Can't believe I forgot you
Actually, that was a test to see if you were paying attention and you were, well done you passed!
Nixy ~ Just hopped back on my chair after laughing at you made me fall off :rotfl: The worst thing was I then HAD to let them invite friends round as they would have wondered where all the food was going  I wish the people in Sainsbugs would learn to keep their mouth shut!
Actually once when I bought binge food the lady said " oooooo up , who's off for a binge session then?" OMG!!!

well, lunch was OK. Friend cancelled coming out to local with us, due to emergency dental appt. Invited other friend to come down for a coffee and quick catch up. Just as I was getting a bite to eat friend A turned up having been to the dentist. I got us some lunch, HM hummus, veg/salady things, hm bread and then a nice fresh fruit salad with fresh pineapple, mango, apple, orange and pear. Afterwards one of them said "well that was better than the London Bridge! Food isn't marvellous there, but still took it as a compliment.
Now I have plenty of opportunity to fall off the wagon *wonders why the aforementioned wagon isn't fitted with seatbelts of bits of rope, as people seem to keep falling off it. Must speak to Health and Safety about this.*
but will try very hard to busy myself and settle for the odd cup of tea, plus 25g dark chocolate for a snack."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Dark chocolate is yuck
We dont call it dark chocolate, we call it black chocolate, and the milk is brown chocolate and the white is yellow
