Oh, you get plenty of that when the tide is high in Shrewsbury, seen the pics, know where it is, used to work in Shrewsbury for the Music Festival."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I was just watching Shark and felt STARVING, so I had a few crackerbread with light philadelphia and a small bowl of bran flakes. Now I am at that stage where I think I might have blown it and feel like I want to carry on eating and eating.... grrrrr.... Coming on here has stopped me and I suppose I should just go to bed, but I'm not tired now that I've had something to eat!Jane

Just a quickie as we will be out the door soon. Got weighed in and I've lost
1lb.
Will have to remind myself what I set as my May challenge but I think it was 8lb so that leaves me 7 to go.
Catch up with you all later.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Good morning. I forgot to post my STS yesterday. I finally have antibiotics from the doctor and am starting to feel human again, so it's full steam ahead for a loss this week.
It's been awful, I've had conjunctivus which went away then came back, a horrible cough and no energy. I hate taking antibiotics, but I've just had enough of being ill.
Anyway, enough of moaning. Well done to anyone who has lost this week, and hugs and good luck to anyone that hasn't.0 -
Morning all!

Rejoining this thread again from last year. Aiming to lose 7lb in the Marvellous in May challenge. I'm 5ft tall so I don't carry my 12st 5lb to well. I love the idea of eating ordinary food with the rest of the family in reasonble amounts. I have regular binge days as well through stress, will just have to accept those days and draw a line on them and start again. Maybe if I feel I'm not "on another diet" that will help.
Well here goes -boiled egg and soldiers for brekki- sarnie for lunch -spagg bol for tea with couple of glasses of wine later at wine o'clock”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
Put on some lipstick
and pull yourself together”

Taplady - I live in Telford for my sins (hope I haven't just offended anyone that lives in Telford:o) I'd rather live in your bit of Shropshire. Telford's not so bad I suppose, at least I've got the lovely Shropshire countryside on my doorstep:D
Recovering - I have PM'd you!0 -
Morning everyone
Hello Jinny :hello:
Congrats on another pound Cheerfullness :j
Todays plan is
BF pate on toast
Dinner one tortilla, yogurt & fruit
Tea salad with boiled eggs cottage cheese and a tiny bit of mayo.
I`m working until the middle of the night tonight so in case i get peckish i`ve made a small pot of pasta and pesto salad to take with me, hopefully thats enough to keep me out of the shops and away from baaaaaad things like crisps and choccie.:D
I did have a very large glass of wine last night and i wll probably have another one tonight but thats my treat for keeping away from the naughty foods for a whole week
I`ve decided that my May challenge will be 6lb if i can somehow manage to do this then it will put me just under 15st and i know i`ll feel better once i see that on the scales!
Good luck everyone, hope you all have a lovely day.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Morning all
Well done cheerfulness :T :T and anyone else who has lost or STS :T
Have just got back from hubby nipping me to the garden centre.... usually walk but have the mother of all back aches  oddly i think it must be hormonal as it seems to be happening the week after TOTMits like a big wide band from hip to hip and really sore...im allright once im up and moving..but actually getting up is the fun bit  ...typical as i rarely got back ache before i lost weight
anyhow... instead of canes for my peas to crawl up i have got some wire sheeting and im going to put it in one trough and bend it over into another trough like a bridge (the weired things i come up with :rotfl: )...... worked out cheaper than canes and easier for me to do than faffing tying more wigwams
Ohhhh my curly Kale/green cabbage is coming through and the seeds haven't been planted long :j
Meals today...- brekkie..had 2 slices HM spelt bread with 2 bits of lean bacon and a squidge of ketchup ..nomnomnom
- lunch is going to be jackets with cottage cheese and salad (easiest thing to do
and a fave anyway)
- dinner -tortilla wraps with chicken or steak and salad
- snackies -fruit or yogurts
..on a grand scale
- buying xmas pressies of goodies..eating them, buying again, eating them, wrapping them, eating them and so on
- going into a bakery and "pondering loudly" hmm now what was it so n so asked for..really when it was for me me me
- working on nights... stopping off at the shop on the way home and then lying in bed munching like a woman possesed
- buying whole KFC bucket meals just for me
well i did live alone at the time
It is one hell of a habbit to break mind.....
Hubby has decided that he likes those date n pineapple bars :j which is great as it means he can take some to work with him and shove them in his desk drawer to have with his coffee.... good job too as i would never get through 30  ....you deffinitely know when you have had 1....
Hubby commented yesterday that even though i had those in the kitchen..i went in twice and came out armed with an orange :rotfl: .. but its what i fancied... I used to be a sod for eating stuff "just because it was there" ..i now eat what i want not what i see
Taplady...so sorry about your little pooch....sending hugs... at least the little sausage isn't suffering.... but it doesn't make it any easier on you does it !!!
Woohoo frogga....hows ya diddlin? hope all is well at the pond and have a great weekend
Recovering... yes i did have a look at that thing...ooohh its funky...i had to make myself close the page down quickly though as i have a lakeland fetish
..god i love that shop... and as i have finished with my evans card..the temptation was going to be too great ..so i came off quickly :rotfl:although i must confess that i still want the electric ice cream maker
... one of these years im gonna end up with it for xmas
although i will wait until i have got to target....i used to be an ice cream addict -now i just satisfy myself with 1tsp of hubby when he has it... its black currant he has at the moment mmmmm capucinno or walnut are the nicest ones though nomnomnom..
oh and im a sour sweet girl mmmmmm those that make you pull faces.. there are some cracking ones out here... but when we went for the compost yesterday i managed to resist them ...
right folks i had better get off... hope you all have a great weekend..will pop by later to see how everyone is doing
