Good morning!:hello:
Count me in for Marvelous in May please - I'm feeling quite marvelous already actually - we've got some sunshine and it really puts me in a good mood
So far today i have had a banana shake and a bowl of branflakes with skimmed milk. My plan for the rest of the day is:
Snack- banana (got to go to post office in break so might not have time for a biscuit in the staff room, we'll have to see)
Lunch - ham salad sarnie, cherry toms, half an avocado and a yoghurt
Snack - apple
Dinner - garlic prawn spaghetti with salad (mmmm)
Teaching a yoga class tonight, used to grab a choccie bar from the shop on my way but I'm not planning on doing that today. Also, being out of the house all evening means I can't snack on naughties. It'll be bedtime for e by the time I get home so looks like I'm in for a well behaved day! This is the longest I've been good for aaaaagggeesss:A
Hope you all have a lovely day:D0 -
Morning All,
Happy May 1st :j Lets all focus and try to be as good as MrsM, even of only for 1 month
Not stopping long as I've just finished my bedroom curtains and really cant wait to hang em . Just gonna ask Tadpole 2 to help as they're very heavy.
Have a good day peeps
Had I better join Marvellous in May? Do I have to say how much I weigh or have a goal?
Can I get lots of help here please?
Was doing quite well yesterday until we remembered that there was some wine left from when we had visitors on Tues. I had half a glass, was nice, figured it needed a small lump of cheese to balance it out. Daft really, I don't normally drink much or eat cheese in lumps.
I was up for 3 hours in the night, had a yoghurt.
Today?
Breakfast : Fruit and then some porridge.
Lunch: HM Red pepper hummus, yogurt
Dinner: Maybe a lump of nut roast from the freezer., Not sure that this is the best thing for me, so will have a look see and a think.
Hope you all have a good day."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning all :hello:
Feel a bit rough today with a persistent cold and stomach upset but will stick to plan as rubbish food isn't going to help me get better any quicker
B: Porridge (half skimmed half water) chopped apple
L: HM veg broth with barley
S: PlumHM Quorn cottage pie with purple sprouting broccoli from FIL allotment, carrots, cabbage and peas.
Yesterday I managed to resist temptation, our tea room was full of mini-muffins, donuts, flapjacks, brownies and other things left over from a meeting. Didn't have anything because although I know one mini-muffin is OK once in a while, my weight loss is slow and I don't want another week of feeling rubbish because I have maintained0 -
Morning all!
I'll join the marvellous May thingy as well if I may - I only want to lose 2lbs to get back to my target weight but its harder when you havent got much to go!
At SW last night she gave us a thought to take with us - it was " I can eat what I want when I want or I can be slimmer" so thats my motto for May!:D
Food plans today, am having a cooked lunch as I'm tapping tonight and cant do that on an empty tum and its 8.30pm when I get home so a bit late for a big meal.
B - porridge with skimmed milk and water
ryvita
L - HM veggie lasagne(skimmed milk in the cheese sauce) with veggies of some sort
D - jacket spud with cottage cheese
snack - SW hifi bar plus some fruit when I get round to buying some
Hope you all have a great day!
TTFNDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning All
Please can I join in on Marvellous May, pretty please? I'll be away on a SC hol in lovely sunny Wales ( ) for a week, I'm hoping I won't be too naughty food wise, but otherwise I'm in
Last weeks "liquid day" was good for me so I'm gonna have another one today;
B - Strawberry, watermelon & banana smoothie
L - HM soup & pear
D - V small portion of sheperds pie (that's what DH & DD are having)
Will snack on fruit if I get hungry and drink lots of water.
Got the end of year tax forms to do for Dad today _pale_ once DD is at play school. Would rather be planting veg in the garden as it's a lovely day out there but not to be.
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
Good morning everybody peeps! How we all doing today? Happy May Day! And yay to the start of the Marvellous in May challenge - bring it on! Had an all round rotten day yesterday so glad to be back on track - chinese food made by DS was blooming lovely but horrendously calorific, didn't stop me enjoying it though
. And it was another day without exercise - ach, I hate it so, really struggle to get motivated at all.
B = porridge - starting to get really bored of it but its the only breakfast (besides a full english) that keeps me going without hunger pangs til lunchtime
L = HM veg stewy gloop
D = leftover small portion egg fried rice and a HM lamb burger
I am going to be super marvellous in May I have decided- I have 4 Monday weigh ins so by end of May I would like to have lost 4lb - well I would like to have lost a load more than that but I am determined to pace myself and this fits in with my overall 17lbs in 17 weeks plan.
Hope everyone has a marvellous day today, good luck for anyone weighing in xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Morning all,
I'm here, all ready to be marvellous...it's going to start any minute:rolleyes:
My May Day Challenge ends today with my WI (think I might end up a pound short of my 7lb target)
So I'll take todays weight and try and lose 5lbs in May as I'm starting my PADI training in June and it may be a tad traumatic for my instructor seeing me head to toe in a wet suit (Do they make them with industrial lycra?)
Oh yes and thanks Nix for making our group cool:cool:
Taplady I like that motto too, may print it out or get it tattooed on my face or something so I don't forget it;)
Orpheus- you're still in the honeymoon period on this thread (despite the fact you have been lurking ages) so I'll let you off this time, but chinese takeaway, I'm really just sulking as Nix did not invite me for tea to sample her ds hm chinese:shhh:
Today- B-Yogurt and fruit
L- banana raisin and cashew roll (?) with mini cheddars and apple.
D- Cheese on toast and a couple of gin and tonics:whistle:
Have a fab start to Marvellous in May0 -
Hi All,
Can I join?
I've been ill for months now with stomach complaints etc. and after watching 3 fat brides 1 thin dress last night I'm desperate to shift the weight. I'm about 4 stone overweight, and as i'm only 5' that aint good!
Have decided I need to cut down on carbs, and cut out wheat (been told I have IBS too, but do I listen, no I still eat bread and pasta like its going out of fashion!:o ). So as its the 1st May today is a good day to start!:T
Wish me luck girls as I'm really going to need it, and also any advice on what to eat that is no wheat, low carb and meat free (bloody hell...:o ) I'd really appreciate it!
Good luck to everyone else losing weight!:T

Count me in for the Marvellous in May Challenge.
I have probably failed the BH challenge as my scales broke, and have been giving too low a weight for goodness how long...and when did they start going wrong?..lord knows! The new scales I got on Tuesday won't start, so I am taking them back to swap for working ones today...so WI tomorrow.
Off to walk the dog...DH left @ 5:30am to drive to Dover, working there today and tomorrow...horrible journey from Tewkesbury, so staying there overnight!
I have done lot already this morning, hopefully the rain will stay off long enough for the washing to dry. I had to wash my DS2s rugby kit and DH's clothes twice as they both came home from DS2's Schools District Cup rugby final...absolutely soaked and very muddy!! My son's team won and he scored a try, so a great result...apparently part of the pitch was under 6 inches of water...more like a mud bath there!!! The second wash seems to have done the trick..now it just mustn't rain!
Saw Van Morrison last night in Cheltenham...brilliant! His support act was Imelda May...a fantastic singer, check her out if you can.
Now off for that walk...
Will pop in tomorrow with my 'new' weight...probably horrendous!
Food today:
B: HM Muesli, soya milk + OJ
L: Left over mashed potatoes and gravy from faggots and gravy tea on Tuesday plus veggie sticks..mmm
T: Banana sandwich with HM bread, SF jelly with mandarins - working, so will have some of this after 9pm tonight while watching Heroes (yeah!)
Have a great day
M
