Hello and well done to all the losers and tryers..
I don't want to depress you all too much so I will keep this brief. After several good days I have had the most enormous binge this morning, brought on by a huge row with DD1 this morning. She said the most horrible things to me that I started to cry in front of her and DD2 and ex-OH (something that I HATE doing) and that seemed only to spur her on with her vitriol. And all because I said that the low cut dress showing off her multitude of love bites looked awful. I feel terrible emotionally, and now physically thanks to the huge amount of rubbish which I actually went out and bought (so much for not keeping stuff in the house) and spent nearly £11 on. Right now I don't think I will ever get this weight off. Sorry to be such a Jonah.Jane

Today menu

S - 2 small carrots and a satsuma
L - Lentil soup, cornbeef sandwich and light strawberry yoghurt
D - tomato rice with 5 cocktail sausages and a black eye bean salad
Until later when I have more time.

Hi everyone, you all seem very happy today!
I'm according to plan so far.. porridge and grapefruit for breakfast and had some tuna/sweetcorn/lettuce/tomatoes & dresssing for lunch so far, think I will have stewed apple and yoghurt.
Stewed apple is left over from a recipe I found that replaced a lot of the fat with stewed fruit. Having friends here for a meal later, so hence the Spicy apple cake, new recipe so hoping it tastes good. It's just finished baking so the place smells divine. We're having fish pie to begin with. isn't fish expensive? I got some coley, some pollack, some salmon and some prawns. Should be really nice.
Might not get back till much later as things not ready here yet!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi there
At work so can't stay long but a one day binge does not a diet break! We all have bad days. I hope things improve today :A0 -
Hugs to you rs.
Hope your mood improves soon. I would never have gotten away with making my mum cry - dad would've given us a slap!! In any case when I've said something not nice, I've always felt guilty and come back an apologised for it. Mum's look after us when we're ill, let alone everything else - guess you don't realise the full extent of how much you appreciate your mum until you move out and have to fend for yourself (or care for a family yourself). It's only now, with a husband and two step-kids that I realise how much I took for grantedAnd my OH does almost all the cleaning and housework too (loads more than my dad ever did!):o

You need to put yourself first for a bit, if ex-oh is not helping suggest she stays with him for a while- sounds like you need respite care and some TLC , but when thats not about a binge might seem the answer. Big hug from me honey.. come on we can do this you know x0 -

Hi Tappy, MrsM Meanmarie, cheerfullness and all you others
.......................................and if we're talking about who loves Morrissey the most it's got to be me. In 1987, when I was 14, I bunked off school and caught a train to Manchester and sat outside his flat next to Altringham Girls SchoolHe came out of his electric gates in an open top car wearing shades and as he drove straight past I waved and he nodded at me, yep, right at me! :happyhear SO do I win?
Had a good day food wise, got me tea ready for later, then I'm getting into the habit of brushing me teeth straight after so I don't want to stuff in the evening.
Have a good afternoon peeps xSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

HI all
Apologies, I had no time to look at all the posts (as I type now I should be doing some work instead! heehee) and only read this last page, but gathered that you all are giving reasons for your usernames.
My actual name is Caterina, boring or what! I did not even choose a fancy nickname, just my boring old name, but I sort of like it.
RS, I am sorry to hear about your bust-up with your DD, I hope that you feel better now and forgive yourself for your eating, it happens to the best of us and stress is the WORST to make us lose our tight control on our eating patterns. Lots of hugs.
Well done all losers! Kentish Maid you are amazing, you just joined us and had a fantastic loss, well done you, keep up the good work!
This is my day food-wise:
Breakfast: 2 small slices wholemeal toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1 tbsp reduced sugar jam
Lunch: vlf cottage cheese salad with spinach and orange dressed with 1/2 tbsp olive oil, 50g reduced fat coleslaw, 50g low fat beetroot salad, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion, 1 small slice wm toast, 150g Rachel's Organic low fat cherry yogurt.
So far, SW-wise I have already burnt all my Healthy Extras B and clocked 10 1/2 syns too - gotta watch it for the rest of the day!
Planned snack: strwaberries, blueberries, banana
Planned dinner: Pasta with tomato sauce, grated parmesan, cooked veg without oil, fruit (all free on SW so I should be able to keep it under control).
Ok off to work now, bye all and well done, and thank you all as always for your lovely, lively, entertaining and supportive posts, I wish I had the time to read them all with the attention they deserve!
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Corny? CORNY? I'll have you know that was a very touching declaration of lurve at the time eye fank ewe very much!.....*thinking*...............wellllllll..............maybes not.....................fair enough, a tad hackneyed I'll grant you that...............although it wouldn't be 143 now it would be 144433 (I hate your guts you cow)
As for the snooker thing - on a bad day I do have an air of Alex Higgins about me - bad hair, too many fags and att-ti-tude!
Re the Morrissey thing...................Froooooooooggggggg-gggaaaaaaaaaa, can I be your new bestest fwend please? You are too cool for school :T. Nodding......that's only a whisker away from almost proper knowing him and everything! My 7 shades of Morrisey fact - 2006 I was in a performance at the Tate Modern - ohhhhh get me- anyhoo it was choreographed and arranged by a woman who did a book of photographs about Morrissey and was mates with him and everything!!!! When I found out I just gaped at her like a guppy, now how cool am I? Yes that's right, very cool indeed *nodding*
Anyway, weight loss, yes, ok I have a question - if I make a pan of veg soup glop stuff I *think* it is very healthy and good for me but I have a sneaky suspicion it might actually be hideously calorific - how would I go about working out whether it was good for me or not? 2 carrots, swede, 2 onions, parsnip, half bag soup broth mix and generous handful of lentils - plus litre of turkey stock - and various bits and bobs of seasoning stuff which I figure has no calories - anybody know how I work out how much that little lot would tot up to? By the way it tastes a lot nicer than it sounds xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
