frogga thought I was a plummer till she realised I did tap dancing!:rotfl: :D

I'd be interested in how you all got your names too! for example is Marie really mean:confused::D is MRSMs real name Mrs Macawber???? frogga's is obvious as she really is a frog!:D is cheerfulness always happy? anyone want to let us in on how you got your names?

Ivy is part of my housename (we are semidetached and the little sign is above the pair "Ivyvillas!") and I love the colour purple. Ivy sounds like a name (albeit rather an old-fashioned one) but I am neither called Purple (someone asked me once if it is my name) nor Ivy. My 'real' name is Pauline (which also makes me sound rather old, I feel).

  • Evening everyone, and a great big well done to all our losers!:T

I'd lost 3lb this morning, which should have me doing cartwheels up and down the road (and I can't even do cartwheels!), but it was down to having a cold and not eating much so I'm not counting it as a true loss. In fact I feel like it's all gone back on already:eek: .... made a chicken dinner yesterday, which I was really looking forward to but got full half way through. Had another one tonight with yesterday's extras, and it didn't hit the sides!!! Followed by 4 bickies with a cuppa later on:o So that's me and my appetite back in full working order....I was still pretty chuffed with that 3lb though, however temporary!

Good luck to everyone this week, BH weigh in next Monday don't forget (ooooh er:eek: !!)

Excellent! Taplady, your's is one I actually 'got', although there have been clues in your posts. I am sure Pigpen's house is not as bad' as that - you should see mine, a single fella only ever cleans when there are visitors due! But, yes, be good to get everyone to reveal the story behind their name. Mine is boring, just a mythological story I remembered, just Google it for the tale, it's quite romantic and sad. recoveringspendaholic is one of the best, inspired and we all know where it came from!

Pigpen, I used to run, ages ago, but got warned off by the doc, as ripped a cartilage - would love to again, but would need a crash trolley to follow me about. Am thinking about a more gentle approach such as walking and swimming. How did your OH start off? That's an impressive loss.

I was s'posed to be reporting on the day's food.

I got as far as lunch time. I elected not to have anything else after salad etc at lunch and no snack this afternoon, then to have a McSlurry on my way to collect dd from school.

Dinner was burgers for us all of different types. DD had whoopsied cauldron mushroom burger, I had a mushroom beanburger that ds had made, then the fellas had american style hamburgers that ds had also made and frozen in the Easter hols. He's really enjoying the burgers he made, the other lot were Italian style. I gave him the book and told him to choose which ones he wanted to do.

I had no bread with mine, but I had some hm wedges and some salad. No pud then, but a yogurt when I got back from Mr M's.

Nope..not really mrsM.... im MrsH.... only picked Mrs Mcawer as from being a tot my mum used to tell me that saying about Mrs mcawber..something along the lines of £10 in £9.99 spent Mr Mcawber happy but £10 in and £10.01 out Mr Mcawber sad..only in "old money" ..seemed pretty appropriate for this site

I must be slow on the uptake..because for ages "Taplady" always made me think of sink taps :o .... and thats also why your name is always in grey...as i don't have silver -like taps ..heck i need therapy

    Well done droopydrawers :T

    Evening all

Been busy so haven't been online. Congrats to all the losers!

Have been relatively healthy even though I wanted to binge on Friday. I had a bad day. Luckily nothing in the house to binge on  but had a large Baileys in the evening and savoured every drop :D
My weigh in is tomorrow so a bit nervous! Hoping that the smaller portions, not eating after 5 and the chewing have all helped. Will let you know.

Oh just in case anyone was wondering how I chose my name it was a facebook application :o Won't tell you what it was called because you would know how sad I was but thought it sounded nice. Hey Orp nice to see you round again. I met you on another thread with Matlock, DaveAshton etc.

    Until tomorrow.....

My name is Sam but a friend of mine used to insist on calling me Spam because she thought it was funny - I suppose it was! Anyway, it stuck although I am usually referred to as Spammy or, when people think I need a lift - superspam. It makes me think of a cross between an energy bar and tinned luncheon meat!
