    Hi everyone,
congrats on the loss pebbles - bet you can`t stop smiling.

Well i`m tons better today, not quite right but almost there, yesterday i drank about 40 cups of tea so i consumed a ton of sugar, i hardly ate anything until the middle of the night when i had an egg sandwich and some supernoodles.

Today i`ve only had 5 cups of tea so far ( i have half a spoon of sugar in each one)

BF was toast and a scrape of liver & bacon pate
Dinner will be hm yogurt & fruit, to flavour the yogurt i bought a tin of fruit cocktail in syrup and washed and drained it, works well but needs an extra bit of something so the next batch will get raspberries added to it.

Tea will be beef, veg and a small portion of mash.

If i get around to baking there will probably be a snack or 2 on the list but i`ll wait and see.

What a brilliant start to the week. :D

MRSMC - I've got 5 chilli peppers up but very ropey... only one has got its second set of leaves. My toms are doing fine tho..had six come up but pulled out one as it looked contorted.
Forgot to sow my sweet basil (got it confused with the ones I'd sown from last years packet) so must sow those pronto along with my leeks that got forgotten.
So much to do * walks off chuntering to myself*

    Hi guys,

Haven't been on forum all week as insanely busy. Been a mixed week but am pleased to have lost 1lb.

My aim for this week is to come up with some ideas for late night munchies as this is a sticky point which seems to sabotage my efforts. At home we tend to sit down every night for an hour or so to watch dvd's - mum was very ill last year with anxiety and this was a routine we settled into to help her relax in the evenings. Problem is, I tend to acccompany this with eating! This is my danger time, last night I was so hungry I had a bacon roll & flake bar!!

I am a big fan of savoury things e.g. breadsticks & dip, toast, quiche etc... If anyone can recommend some low fat munchies I can keep in the fridge that would be good!!!

    Food today:

    B. - shredded wheat & semi skimmed

    L. - fruit, something savoury but not sure yet

    D. - tuna pasta bake

Am also going to attempt to make onion soup today as I looked in the veggie basket & we have literally a tonne of onions!!

Of course - a plum has no fat grams, counts to your 5 a day and has vitamins.

Crisps are just empty calories fried in fat with flavourings added as well as MSG (in most cases) which is why you always want more of them ;)

    Go for the plum ;)

    I'm sure it's a very nice plum!

I had a slightly disastrous w/e food wise. I thought I had got away with having bread twice yesterday (a tortilla wrap for lunch and HMbread for evening meal.) but no, I blew up like I don't know what. Does anyone else find that bread makes them bloat?

    Today OK so far

    Porridge/grapefruit for breakfast

Am eating refried beans with some salad. Quite nice. Bit like lumpy hummus and not at all like the shop RFB.

Dinner.. not sure, must think about that when I get back into class later.

Need to think of something for visitors tomorrow, maybe fish pie & veg? WIll mix a piece of salmon in with cheapo white fish. May be a few prawns?
There's a skinny apple cake in a mag I've got, so that might be nice for pud, I have apples going off so might be good for that reason.

    Well done you losers!

Pig Pen, I'm going back to trying to settle into eating sensibly again, but it's VERY hard work at the moment!

pigpen - hope you settled for the plum!;)

pebbles and chloebelle - well done on the losses!:T :T

had tinned spaghetti hoops and a sprinkling of cheese with my jacket spud - really wanted cottage cheese and pineapple but after searching the shops in our small town I couldn't get any only with chives in which I'm not keen on! will get some as soon as I'm near a big supermarket.

    New week, new start!

Friday dinner was lovely - made stuffed savoury pancakes with spinach and ricotta and HM tomato and red pepper sauce, covered in cheese. Could maybe have done with a bit more flavour (onions and garlic, perhaps) in the pankcaes, but otherwise yum.

Saturday: HM cinannmon wheel for breakfast. Chicken wraps for lunch. Chinese takeaway at friends house for dinner (not a lot, wasn't hungry).

Sunday: Frosties, wholemeal cheese and pickle sandwhich. HM chicken tikka massala (w/ fat free yoghurt) and 2 microwaves poppadoms

    Today:
    B: museli, extra raisins
    S: pear
    L: tomato soup, 2 x wholemeal
    S: orange
    D: steak pie, mash, carrots

OH is working away for next 2 weeks, on and off, so will be fending for myself a bit more than normal! Will make use of many small frozen leftovers in freezer! x

    Hi All,

Well done to all the losers, there seem to be quite a lot today. Monday is obviously a popular weigh in day. I always used to weigh on a Monday but find Friday tends to suit me better.

I managed loads of walking yesterday after posting. I timed myself 'round the block' for a standard walk I can do on a regular basis. It took me 35 minutes at a very brisk walk and I did it twice!! So that easily covered my 10,000 steps yesterday. Today a friend called and suggested a walk with her and we were out for an hour and three quarters. Since then I've been up to the bank and separately to the doctors for a blood test so all in all I think I've done around 15,500 steps today. I hope to keep this up every day I can and make the most of being back in a small town for walking around.

I've also done well on the food front. Mind you there is no food in the house to speak of as we haven't been able to get out and do a full stock up yet. I am stretching out the bits we bought yesterday as long as possible.

B: Muesli with raisins, cranberry and raspberry juice.
L: Slice wholemeal toast with smoked salmon pate. Banana.
D: Egg and SW chips. Clementine.
