Rockie.. Sometimes only food and drink will cut it.. but don't let it prolong.. you can do this and hopefully XH will be fine.. it is just that nasty 'C' word which puts the fear of God in us all.. (((hugs))) to you and DD.

Frogga.. you're back and trying.. are you still a frog on a bike?? If I can eat 3 meals a day (without snacking!!) so can you.. with fruity snacks in between!! I'm not here either.. I am just lurking so everyone knows I've not been eaten! I'm not even trying any more because I'm finding it all so demoralising.. Oh mighty green one you can win this battle!!!

    Cheerfulness.. fabarooney hunny... WTG!!!!!!

Well.. I've stopped the chips on the way home from the pub and I am 'trying' to drink 1 glass of water a day.. it is killing me.. I get half way down the glass and sick it back up.. plus whatever I've eaten.. I'd make a great one for an eating disorder!!

I've got 2lb off this week.. but it will be back on next week.. so I'm not getting too excited.. I've been here before.. I fluctuate between 11st 13 and 11st 10 anyway just during a normal month.. next week will tell if the '3 meals a day' is actually helping..

    B - 2 x seeded toasts with butter and marmalade(small loaf)

    scone:o

    L - poached eggs on toast(more bread:rolleyes: )

D - HM veggie bake with roasted vegetables

will have a red banana for a snack and some raisins.

Righto - plan for tomorrow. I have two jobs at the mo to make ends meet. I'm a teaching assistant 9-3everyday and I clean 6.20-8.40am and 3.30ish - 6ish most days but sometimes I get to pop home before or after school. So tomorrow will hopefully work out like this:

B - banana shake (its too early to eat anything solid!):o
Snack (short break at home) - cereal bar or toast and honey
L - ham salad sarnie, half and avocado, few cherry toms and a Shape yoghurt (the ones that are supposed to help you feel fuller for longer!)
Snack - v.short break at home to walk the doggy - Bran flakes with skimmed milk
Snack after work - grapes/apple or both
D - limited time as we always go out on a Monday - HM soup from the freezer with a bread roll

That all sounds pretty healthy I think? Me and the BF go to an open mic night on a Monday and I always have a double jack daniels for the sole purpose of warming my vocal chords;) - honest.

Plus I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow - haven't done this for a couple of weeks - it was 10st 10 last time and I have NOT been a good girl recently:eek:.

Therefore I will be weighing myself as soon as I get out of bed, in the noddy for my best possible chance of not being heavier than last time;)

    Hello Folks :hello:

Hello again Frogga :hello: Welcome back we've missed you!!

Thanks for the good wishes, I feel like I'm always moaning but I've had so much bad news/things happening over the last few months (5 years really  ) there seems to be no end...... I must have been really bad in a previous life :naughty::naughty:

Anyway, I'm back on track, I was pretty good yesterday and today I've had mushroom omlette and toast, carrot and coriander soup with crispbread and Ambledown roast (bought) with new pots, broccoli, and roasted veg, I also had a cereal bar and a plum.

Didn't do anything at the lottie this morning as it was persisting down but I have stripped and plastered another wall in the back room this afternoon so have burned off some calories :D

I'm off for a little surf now before I do my ironing

    See you tomorrow folks :A

How lovely to have so many friends on here pleased to see me :A I am a happy frog x

Been very busy this afternoon planting lots of veggies in the garden. I have NEVER grown veg before and I'm REALLY excited. We have a cottage garden full of every kind of flower you could think of. So like Mean Marie sugested I just squeezed a load of veggies in any space I could find :D

I've got Sweetcorn, Brussels, Broad Beans, Runner Beans, Courgettes, Savoy Cabbage, Cauli and Toms. Guess I should have read up a bit first , but I just stuck em in anywhere ;) Do you rekon they'll be ready in the morning?

Will hop on the S word in the morning and see the actual damage , but then it's onwwards and upwards.

Thanks for welcoming me back guys, you made me croak ;)

  • Anyway - I made a roast dinner tonight and wanted to make some yorkshire puddings so I tried a recipe from an old american recipe book and it was lovely and low fat too. It was 4 eggs, 4oz flour, a bit of salt and half a pint of skimmed milk all mixed up together and then poured into cold non stick fairy cake tins which had been lightly greased with a tiny bit of oil (less than a tsp for the whole lot) and put into the oven at 210 for 20 minutes. They were the hugest, nicest yorkshires I have ever had and they worked out at 1 WW points each

Hi there, I love yorkshire puds and I cannot get them right, they are always soggy in the middle/bottom.

Anyway, I tried your recipe tonight - I don't know what I did wrong - they tasted like omelette at the bottom and were soggy. I used a muffin tray, could that have been it? I made 12, was the recipe for 24 maybe?

Hope you can help, or anyone else - this is one food that I love but just cannot cook.

    FFM :)

Good Afternoon Ladies (and Gents if there are any lurking!)

Hi Pebbles, Yes, I am a gent. And I lurk - lots. I keep up with the thread daily. It's just a bit odd being a fella (Not generally, at 40 I have become used to it - being a gent I mean -but, you know, being on a dieting thread, we boys are not supposed to talk about it!). I AM working hard at losing weight OS, but just don't often feel comfortable posting, it's like a club on here - you guys (well, NOT guys, obviously) are SO good to each other, it's such an impressive and valuable thing:T. I get great inspiration and ideas which is the point of the thread:j!
