I should admit that after such a good day yesterday a banana muffin accidentally fell into my mouth before I went to the pub. On the positive side, usually when that happens, two or three manage to get in, plus another two when I get home from the pub, so I suppose it was an improvement!0

I am a frog so my name is obvious I guess , but as a tadpole I was a complete whiz at "frogga" the computer gameit made me laugh that droopy drawers didn't feel it necessary to explain her name
I am doing fine foodwise and found yesterday quite easy as I was SO BUSY!
I WILL struggle to post on here daily though. I was in a panic this morning as I was running late and stressed that you'll all think I'm being offish if I don't post. It's not that , it's just I have so much to do I really find it difficult to post everyday. I will come on when I get time honest
Have made 8 shepherds pies this morning and am just waiting for them to cool down before I stick em in the freezer. Hopping off to work now, oooooooooooo cant remember who warned me yesterday about the calories in Cranberry juice but THANKS :A It NEVER occurs to me to think about calories in drink. When I looked there was LOADS!!! :eek: I am concerned that I have hurt my internal organs with all the binging that I've done in the past and that my liver and kidneys are diseased:o Hope that's not true.
There's still no veg yet? What do ya think I'm doing wrong

I loved hearing how you all made up your names. Some I worked out, others my mum explained (MR MCAWBER story) and the rest I was baffled about. I wondered about the MeanMarie too, taplady.Is there a secret side to you we don't know Marie?
Mine is quite simply because I love the flowers cheerfulness (I think the name suits them) and I was alway called 'smiler' by friends because I usually am, hence the name.
Food today:
Readybrek
Foiled baked salmon, herby corn on cob and jacket potato with HM coleslaw
Duck pate on HM seedy bread toast
Snacks - grapefruit, pear, apple, satsuma
You don't look like Max MrsMc! :rotfl: :rotfl: I look like Freeway, tho. Thank goodness for that hair appointment this Friday. I'm sporty the shaggy dog look at the moment.
Isn't Hart to Hart back on some channels? I pleaded for a scruffy dog like that as a kid, now I'd just be thinking of all the hairs. :rolleyes:
My lettuces are up in the greenhouse so I'll soon be munching on those for my lunches. :dance: Its forecast to be a sunny day here today and mum's coming up later to help in the garden so I should get my beetroot and radishes in today. :j Nothing doing with my courgettes yetdon't they realised that this is make or break for my grocery challenge over the next few months..they want to get their backs into it and GROW! :mad:
Away for another coffee and surf. All the best to heavenfire and ...hmmmm ..can't remember the name but the other person that said they were weighing in this morning.I'm getting so forgetful..(have to change my name to 'forgetfullness' :rolleyes: )

Morning everyone! In a bit of a bluergh mood - you ever get home from w**k and just crash? I was on my erse all night last night. So made Nipper fish and chips and ended up having a pitta with chips and salad cream for my tea
. Wrong wrong wrong. Didn't do my exercises either. Could have easily slipped into a binge but got myself in the kitchen and made some veg soup instead. Which turned into veg stew when I askdidentally threw a few too many red lentils in
Anyhoo, onwards and upwards, today is a new day and all that
B = porridge
L = HM veg gloop
D = ah ha. See this is where I come unstuck. I haven't done any shopping, don't want to do any shopping so when I get in I have no idea what I am going to eat. Meal plans schmeal plans, I am rubbish at this.
I am seriously overloading on the carbs at the moment so even though my calorie intake is not high the majority of it is coming from carbs. Again it's tied to the shopping thing, if I haven't been then the easiest things to rustle up are pasta/ricey type things when really I should be eating protein and veg in the evening. Just need to give myself a little shake up and I'll be fine.
DS wants chinese tomorrow and so he sat with my chinese cookbook last night making lists of everything HE is going to cook - so sweet, he loves fiddling in the kitchen and is turning into a bit of a foodie. It's really reassuring how they seem to grow out of any fussy eating fads - for years he was a nightmare but I left him to it pretty much and now at 13 he will eat owt. He was even talking to me about cooking for himself when he goes to university - ahhhhhhh. I blurry love my kid I do.
Oh and my user name - Nix cos that is my name initthe majority of people in real life call me that, I've been online in one form or another for a long long time and it's always been my username. I've been lucky enough to have met and made a load of friends from online over the years and they've always called me Nix - and it's permeated into real life. And the 143 is from my first girlfriend - it was her code for saying I (1) LOVE (4) YOU (3) and that's just stuck as well :rolleyes:
Congrats to all the losers, you know can you imagine what it would look like if we figured out how much everyone on the thread had lost, added it all together and made a mountain of lard out of it? People like MrsM and Cheerfulness would have made massive big boulders of the stuff and I'd be there pointing at a lil pile of lardy pebbles saying 'see those, them pebbles is mine!'. Big losers or little losers, you all rock.
And now I have cheered myself up :rotfl:Have a great day everyone xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Morning All :wave:
Another lacklustre start to the week. Have had a funny headache yesterday and woke this morning still with it, can't help thinking it's got something to do with the increasing humidity, it does take much with me.
Anyway, trying to keep on track, ignoring the cherry flapjack I scoffed yesterday, just testing it you understand.
B- Bran Twigs
L - Feta & salad
D - Chicken, veg and mash
My username is taken from a Morrissey song, bless him.
Hope everyone has a lovley day
