Thanks for the welcome!
So far today:
B- banana shake
S - apple, banana
L - two slices french toast followed unfortunately by two kitkats(
S - bowl of honey nut cornflakes
Not great but not as bad as it has been, I currently have an addiction to french toast and from now on am going to have it as a Sunday breakfast treat only! The worst time for me and my binges is after dinner so watch this space! I think I'm a grazer, I need feeding reguarly so I need to have easy good food available to stop me going for the rubbish!
I have adapted a nigella lawson recipe for cereal bars to make it more low cal, they're yummy and I can put the recipe up tomorrow evening if anyone is interested? I have to do it then because I'm not at home at the mo so haven't got the recipe to hand. I found a good recipe for banana flapjacks once on here somewhere - the thread was foolproof flapjacks or something like that, anyway, I could put that up tomorrow too if no-one wants to hunt for it? Not as low cal as the cereal bars but full of energy so good post exercise!0 -

Oooo I'm not an expert but I don't think you are eating enough... and there is no protein, someone clever will be along in a minute;)0 -
I haven't had dinner yet! There's quite a lot of protein there so far actually - 3/4 pint of milk and the french toast used two large eggs. I think I'm having jacket potato with cheese and chicken kiev with veg for dinner so more protein in the chicken and cheese - I was more worried about the fact I wasn't getting enough fruit and veg!
As for not eating enough - it's interesting you should say that because sometimes I don't feel I eat enough but the weight still doesn't come off. I do have my binges as I've said, but there's always a little voice niggling at me and telling me that I shouldn't have to work quite so hard as I do to lose the weight. Especially as I do get a lot of exercise now. I have thought about seeing the doctor and seeing if there's something else going on (thyroid etc)but, as I'm not visibly overweight as such, I don't think I'd be taken seriously - what do people think?0 -
Evening All
Having had a bit of a rubbish start to the week feeling really sluggish I feel much better today. I gave myself a "liquid" day yesterday to try to sort my system out, so smoothies and soups were the order of the day.
Todays food has been;
B - Bran twigs
L - beans on toast
D - Pasta bake
I've cheated a little today by having a biccie at toddler group and a reeeaalllly small pice of choc swiss roll round and me mums.
Well done to all the losers, good luck to all the weigh ins and hello to the newbies
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend0 -

The choo choo diet? I'm intrigued! I don't have a TV, could some lovely person explain what the choo choo diet is please?0

A ha! In a nutshell the theory is you can eat what you like but you have to chew everything 32 times. Apparently so that your brain has time to register you are eating and that you have had enough - whereas if you normally woof your food down you overeat because your brain hasn't got chance to keep up with you - chemical signals and all that.
In reality it means you eat less because you get bored of chewing, you DO feel fuller after a smaller amount but at that point you need to stop eating and not clear your plate like a good lil pigglywink. I guess it makes you more conscious of exactly what you are putting in your mouth and helps you focus.
I've been doing it for a week or so and have got to truthfully say its really helping with portion control and hunger pangs. I feel full more quickly and I seem to stay full for longer. But I'm not eating everything I want, I'm still trying to be careful. this last week has been my first full proper week of chewing and I am really hoping my weigh in on Monday reflects some change - because, as threatened previously, if it doesn't I'll be straight down the pie shop to inhale some pasty goodness
Editted to say - way hey the losers!!!! Another good week ladies, am proper proud of you all xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hi everyone,
I did venture in a few months ago but wasnt in the correct frame of mind to stick around and always took a wide berth of this thread when i was browsing MSE, funny how the brain works huh? Anyhow, someone on DFW thread started up a Weight Watcher thread but i felt i was keeping it going and wanted some others to join in and decided to swallow my pride and sneak back in. Hope thats ok!
I now weigh in at 12st 13lb (last Sunday evening) and have been a good girl all week although i have struggled at times, I think its all about retraining your mind to not want to stuff your face with 10 bags of crisps or going to the fridge 6 times a night and hoping that some magic fairy has put something nice in there since the last time i looked!!!!:rotfl:
Food today:
B - Cornflakes (ran out of bran flakes)
L- Chicken breast topped with bacon/cheese and potatoes/veg and salad (this was a huge meal and the cheese was a treat! )
D - Strawberries and strawberry muller light, cucumbers and red peppers.
Really trying hard as i want to lose 2 stone, first target is 7lb as i think thats reasonable. May succumb to a bag of quavers tonight!!!
