    Morning Peeps,

Late on this morning as I had so much to do I thought I was gonna run out of time and have to leave the house without having hoovered round  What a nightmare!

Loads of posts to catch up on from yesterday ~ Please don't worry if you are one of those who can't quite "get it together" foodwise at the moment. There is no appologies necessary if you have a bad day and need to come on here and off load about it. We've all done it , and some of us more than others ;) It took me weeks to get my head in to gear this time , well in fact it was months! I fell of the wagon in October and didn't really climb back on until Feb :o

If food is your thing I really think you should accept it and learn to live with it. Some people smoke, drink , do drugs et.c so we could be worse. It's hard enough coping with a food addiction at the best of times let alone when times are tough. Give yourself a break :D

Right, off to work. Post later xxxxxxx

  • mhe - tahini is round near the gravy powders and stock cubes in Morrisons so you may find it there. :)

Ohh heck Rockie - hope you're not as sore this morning. That must have shook you up.

meanmarie - can you write aoife as you'd say it. I love the irish names, too. :D

    Food today:
    weetabix
HM pea and ham soup with HM seedy bread
    Macaroni cheese, bacon & salad.

Snacks - mandarins, carrots (nothing else in  )

Deviated from my tea menu last night when OH came back from garage where he was collecting the replacement window (they mucked up first time and ordered wrong one) waving a £10 note in the air. They'd compensated him for the inconvenience, so he told lads he was treating them to chips. Hmmmmm  No one wanted my macaroni. :o I had 2 chips off each of their plates with ham salad and 4 ryvita with cream cheese. Was lovely actually. :)
Anyways, waste not, want not.... they're getting it tonight instead. :D

    Catch you all later.

Really bizarre 'talking' like this to someone who probably lives very near to me!

I got the tahini out of the fridge, had been there some time as indicated by the fact that it goes OOD this month! Sainsbury's would have it, probably Tesco, health food shops... H&B or maybe even Julian Graves.

THink I will try and find some small tubs and freeze the rest. Or alternatively, recipes only call for a couple of tsps, ice tray might be better than messing around with the little tubs, as I only have a few of those. When I was doing WW I didn't put the tahini in, as it meant more fats, but it still tasted fairly well OK. Seasoning is the key with hummus, but watch it with the salt, you don't taste it until it's all dissolved! I lobbed in a stray tbsp of HM tomato sauce that wasn't needed on the pizza the other night.

I'm my DS's best friend at the mo, I made and extra pizza so he has been having it for packed lunch! Pandora has given me instructions for making bases and freezing, so would like to give that a try soon.
