    Ok I am jumping into this feet first.

    Need to lose 28lbs in weight. I posted earlier on another thread about being able to achieve weight lost when I have the right mind set. I've lost the weight before through a combination of healthy eating and exercise.

    Like you all I am intelligent woman and I know what i need to do and eat and I sort of do it. However I blow it by eating too much (I've a shocking sweet tooth) extra sweet stuff - usually when no one else is around - hence my lovely static 2 extra stone.

    I wasn't quite sure of the role of this thread but reading the last couple of pages it seems like you guys post your days achievements, and what you've eaten? IS that right?

    I've got a Debt diary running on here which has really helped me stay focused. Clearly this forum is appropriate for a weight loss one - sad to say I think MSE might not even be. Does anyone have any recomendations for one?

    Thanks

  • hi all :wave:

    just coming on to say i lost another 1lb :j :j :j

    i've decided that my goal for this week is to be 100% honest with myself about what i eat. my meals are generally ok (perhaps need portion reduced and a few extra veggies) but i don't always remember to account for the little snackies i've had here and there - does anyone else do this? i think perhaps if i learn to admit to myself and religiously record what i've had then maybe it would give me a kick up the bum :o

    oh and pigpen we will track you down! now get your butt back here ;)

    Hello all,

    Just spent 2 hours on phone to my best and oldest friend...she can even out-talk me! Mind you we did sort the world in that 2 hours so cheap at the price!

    Pebbles...I don't soak my oats overnight...I put some chopped apricots, prunes, raisins and cranberries in with oats and what seems like a lot of water, bung it in microwave for about 4 mins, stirring well half way through, then have a spoon of honey and some cold milk poured over, and I love it...sometimes have a slices banana on top as well.

    To day I have eaten:

    Porridge as above, no banana;
    Rasher, egg, fried onions and 2 thin slices fried bread...no butter, coffee;
    Bowl of chorizo and bean soup;
    Apple;
    Small piece white fish, broccoli, small baked spud;
    Fruit scone and butter.

    Stewed some rhubarb with honey, probably have that before I go to bed...forgot to mention that I had 3 glasses boiled water with lemon with no positive result IYKWIM!

    Well done losers...pigpen, don't you dare give up, if you do I will have to as well, I have had an even more rubbish loss than you....i.e no loss since September last.

    Night all, sleep well

    Morning everyone,
    i missed a couple of days posting as i`d been so naughty. I had put back on the 2lb that i had lost so i was mad at myself, however i hopped on the scales this morning and i`ve finally lost it again!! Yippee!

    Today i plan on eating:-

    BF toast & potted meat
    Lunch tuna on toast
    Dinner Liver & bacon casserole with jacket spud

    Hopefully i can knock another pound off before our meal out this weekend.

    I`ve got my fingers crossed for everyone.

    Marie, your Chorizo and bean soup sounds lovely. Do you use a recipe (pretty please?)?

    My first day proper eating after being unwell was yesterday and I think not too bad.

    Today I'll have grapefruit and porridge for breakfast.

    Lunch will be salads and my hm red pepper hummus...if I get out shopping in time for the veg...only got some iffy cuc and half a dead lettuce *makes note to wash salad drawer of fridge*

    Dinner...possibilities include JP, as there is coleslaw needs using up.

    You sound just like me toniwoty! I am quite good with my meals but cant seem to stop snacking on naughties between meals!:rolleyes: I dont go overboard and binge but 1 or 2 biscuits or a small slice of cake here and there add up. I find writing it down does help a lot.

    Weigh in tonight for me, according to my scales I've put about 1 1/2 pounds on in the last 2 weeks:eek: but its no suprise, we'll see what the SW scales say!

    Breakfast was 2 x small toast with butter and marmalade, snack will be SW HiFi bar, lunch is some wholewheat spaghetti with a small portion of leftover veggie type bolognaise, not sure about dinner yet but it might be a jacket spud.

    busy day today for me but will pop back late morning to catch up!

    Pigpen - hope you've changed your mind about giving up!
