Evening everyone!
Haven't posted for a few days, been a bit hectic here... Mr PG has gone to Shanghai with work, and my brother has ditched his fiance, so i've swapped one for the other LOL as he's now staying with me for a bit
So.... as a feel better treat we had chinese on Saturday night. But it was only chicken chow mein
Sunday was better... I had fruit salad for breaki, and a roast dinner (just beef and veggies, no roasts) mid-afternoon which made me too full for anything else LOL
Yesterday was fruit salad for breaki, ham salad for lunch and a portabello mustroom stirfry (non-stick wow, just a wipe of oil, masses of carrot, cabbage, onions and scallies and chunks of mushroom. is it just me, or are they better than meat :T ?)
Today was a college day, but I was good, had a jacket spud with beans. Tonight is roast chicken dinner at mums, again no roasties...
But... a spectre looms, I have to go away with work tomorrow, and that means all manner of naughty foods... I'll have to try to be good...
Well done to everyone for perseverance!!!
Much luv,
PGxx0 -
Hi All
Congratulations all the losers and welcome all the new members of our friendly little group.
We have had a lovely day today - with the sun well and truly back. We walked up to the lighthouse and back along the beach earlier. Had to paddle round the rocks and the sea is still very cold indeed. We walked up to the bar on the way back for a Coke and a coffee and sat in the sun then came home and laid in the sun with a book all afternoon. We have just come in at 5.30pm and it is still 23C outside. I felt very sorry that poor DD missed all the good weather on her weekend visit.
So I've done around 12,500 steps in our walk today which is good and also been good foodwise. We are still eating up everything in fridge and freezer ready for defrosting and cleaning out but I seem to have timed it fairly well.
B: Fruit and fibre mixed with muesli, skimmed milk. Pineapple juice.
L: HM carrot soup. Raspberry yoghurt.Minced beef with mushrooms, carrots and green beans. Rice. Clementine.
Snacks: Coke, banana, orange.

Hi all, haven't been on for a good few days as OH and I have been travelling round a bit. Because we were doing lots of driving we ate lots of sandwiches and take away food but we did choose the better options. Instead of burgers we had falafel in pitta with salad (no chips) or a wholemeal veggie sandwich and a bag of crisps (no cakes or biscuits) so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Today I didn't have breakfast as I started work later than usual,
L: Tuna salad sandwich & bag salt and vinegar crispsRoast chicken, sweet potato mash, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, peas
S: Scoop of coffee ice cream0 -
Afternoon
Felt really sluggish again this morning but thatnks to MrsM the lemon juice in hot water worked :T so thanks. I did use to drink this years ago when my IBS was at it's worse but I'd forgotton all about it.
Also felt really rubbish and tired. DD woke up 4 times last night, the first time she fell out of bed for the first time ever so she was proper upset, we only took her bed rail off last week. The 2nd time she woke saying she was cold so on went another blanket and the 3rd/4th time I think she was playing silling beggers  . Felt shattered all day, early to bed this evening me thinks.
B - bran twigs and sultanas
L - mackeral, salad and HM coleslaw. 2 choccie biccies
D - Pork chop, roast parsnips, mash, carrots and broc.
Hello to all the newbies  and well done to all the losers :j0 -
Well, I have stopped again ... have had 2 or 3 glasses of sparkling water. Now on coffee that I took in flask to work and didn't drink. I think I need to make an effort to decide what is to eat NOW, before I do something stupid!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Well, a couple of decisions later... Egg, beans and toast. Nice big mug of tea in front of me now. I kept forgetting to chew my food! On with the sewing, that will stop me eating.
DH here tonight, so will have to tolerate him making stupid comments while the diet programmes are on."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hello folks :hello:
Feeling a lot happier now as OH is unresigned!:j His boss asked him if he would stay if they cut his workload and reduced the travelling - no Derbyshire jaunts so he said yes! Money will be a lot less  but we won't be putting £60 a week petrol in the car so it shouldn't be too bad.
Just had bubble and squeak with a 'fried' egg for tea - nom nom nom!
I'm really full so might not have anything else tonight.
I've done 12,000 steps and swum half a mile today
Planning a bit of pampering tonight, I spent my Boots points on my way home so will do an instant tan and paint my toenails  after I've done my ironing though otherwise I've nothing to wear for work tomorrow:rotfl:
See you tomorrow folks!

Evening all
I've hardly eaten anything today. 2 slices of hummus toast, 2 cups of coffee and an easter egg  I would normally eat more, but I've been living on my nerves today as I bought another house! So nerves set in and havent subsided just yet. However, I have managed 14,000 steps so far as I had to go out for a walk to try to settle my nerves before lunch. I've also been running about like a daftie to get the house sorted for the estate agent tomorrow morning
Anyhoo, :T :T :T well done you losers. Away out for a walk to show DD the house. It wont take many steps as its in the next street along0 -
