 My slow cooked stew was inedible, so that's a good few days worth of food wasted
Was so bored / frustrated at work that I came home and fell asleep on the sofa, thus missing my gym classes.
And the only thing in the house for dinner was the remnants of my bananananananaa tea loaf which I was supposed to be saving for little sugar hits during the week.
:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

Yay - went to the gym and did just under an hours work out - X trainer, bike and treadmill. :j
Had the meatloaf for tea - was OK but bit greasy for my liking. Loads left though so have popped in freezer for two more meals!
Stuffed now! To add to my eats today - 1 Twink Hobnob (well it was lonely all by itself in the tub), and half a grapefruit with brekkie (forgot that).
Must remember to weigh in the morning.

Hello everyone, and congrats to Nix and lainz!!:T (hope I haven't missed anyone!)
Think I'm in shock..... somehow managed to shift 1lb this morning! The best I was hoping for was to stay the same so I really am chuffed to little mint balls with that unexpected bonus! I haven't picked once today.... that little pound and a definite waft of spring in the air (about flippin' time too!) have got me all revved up and full of enthusiasm again!
I'd like to go for the little challenge of the end of May bank hols if anyone else fancies it? Don't think I'm going to make the first one (at least without a minor miracle!:D ) so an extra 3 weeks will suit me nicely.
Best of luck this week everyone, keep it up!0 -
Hey all,
Please may I join in, I really need to lose weight and generally get healthier, I rather...interestingly...decided to join in Race for Life (London Marathon what can you do)and am trying to use this as a jumping off block for my new healthier self (look at the preening(sp))
So it'll be all hands on deck for this one you can be sure, I'm 5'9 ish and weighing in at 17 and a half ish stone (maybe need to get those measurements checked out) and lord only knows what my BMI is, and I kinda think it might be a good idea for it to stay that way....but in the interests of full disclosure I'll get it all done at work 2mr (one of the luxuries of working in a pharmacy is access to equipment) and maybe let you know, if Im not too embarressed.
On the plus side I have managed to generally give up cola (my caffine based sin, trust me I have plenty of others hehe) and only have the occasional glass now and then, this has led to an increase in my fruit juice intake (the fuit juice in sparkling water count right 60/40) so Yay on that score, now to up the exercise. dumdumdummmmmmm, Im gonna attempt to start jogging (or something vaguely resembling such like) daily, hopefully will manage this, and I've also borrowed one of my sis's dvds, which I find kinda fun.
Okay, babbling over, time to work, work, work!!!!!!When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

Morning everyone,
Nice and sunny in the garden already..makes you feel good, doesn't it?
Well done Iainz and droopydrawers on your losses. :T :T
Helen and Rockie - hope you both end up having better days today. And glad you're up and about again Toniwoty.
Feeling achy this morning after all tha exercise in the garden yesterday. Carried on until about 8ish as DH came out to mow the lawn so I thought I'd sow some more seeds in the greenhouse and have a general tidy round the garden. Ouchy!
Having to think on my feet regarding food today as I forgot it was Tuesday and a friend always comes to lunch. Forgot to plan something. :wall: Will have to be leftovers.
Food today:
Readybrek
HM Bacon & cheese quiche with salad and picalli (have an craving again:rolleyes: )
Boiled duck egg with wml fingers
Snacks - Red grapefruit, orange and apple.
Too many eggs again in that plan but needs must today. I have a fancy and I intend running with it.Tomorrow I will balance it up better. The truth is that there is one duck egg left and the race is on between DS2 and I to see who gets it first.
And this from a child who upon seeing a big blue egg in his egg cup declared, 'I'm not eating that weird thing.' Kids!
The end of May BH suits me fine too for the next challenge. Fancy a mini one once I've got this current one under my belt next weekend. :j
Once next Saturday's weigh in is done and dusted then I'll decide what my next target loss will be.
Think I'll go make a cuppa now and have a peaceful little surf while its still quiet. Will come back and catch up on the weigh ins today later.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Morning ladies
Not feeling brilliant today, my 1 glass of wine became 2 and I hardly slept last night so this morning I feel cr*ppy.
I've had soaked oats, yoghurt and berries for brikkie, just had a banana, I have couscous and salad for lunch and am having bubble and squeak with a 'fried' egg for tea. I've got some fruit with me and I think I'll go for a swim at lunchtime.
Taplady - I love the chocolate and orange ones, I keep them in the fridge then they take ages to eat.
Well done to the losers :T0 -

Hi all. Welcome to all new ones, hugs to all those feeling poorly.
Well breakfast was toast and choc spread- didn't fancy porridge.
snacks have been a banana and a pack of baked crisps
Have an apple as well.
Lunch is ciabata bread with ham and cheese.
Tea is turkey curry from the freezer
Not had a good morning - on the way to work a hightop van tried to wipe the side of my car off by changing lanes with no warning and no indication, while I was alongside it!!! I beeped at him but he still was going to drive in the side of me - even with the passenger looking straight at me. I had to slam my breaks on and let him have my lane as I thought he was going to try and push me off the road. Then when I later overtook he drove right up behind me and was being very aggressive trying to get round another car to get alongside me again even when the road was back down to one lane (and I wasn't crawling along the road either) so when he got behind me again I accelerated to try and get away from him but he was speeding up trying to get alongside again (I think to try and force me off the road into the parked cars this time) and then when I stopped to turn off the road at a junction he had the cheek to stop and shout at me and claim I couldn't drive and was dangerous!! He tried to flaming well run me off the road
