    Hi everyone,

Im back after my girls weekend away, and im afraid I didnt watch what I ate or drank.

I left very early on Friday morning, so, I didnt get a chance to weigh myself. I will just wait until this Friday to weigh myself.

Im really really tired today, and when Im tired I just want to eat junk,so, Im going to have a lie down in a minute, and see if I can stay away from the biscuits (ive already had a 4 finger kit kat this morning:o ).

Anyway, Breakfast today was 1 slice of toast with low fat marg & jam with a cup of coffee.

Lunch will be a small bit of quiche (not HM im afraid) with salad.

Dinner will be roast chicken with all the trimmings (seen as I missed a good family dinner on Sunday).

When I was getting ready this morning, I realised I really need to tone up, but, Ive got no way of going to the gym because my mum watched DS when I go to work, and I dont like asking her to watch him on my days off, and Ic ant go at night because I never know when DH is going to finish work.
I would love to start walking again, cos I love walking, but, DS hates being in his buggy, and kicks up a big fuss, and sticks his feet on the wheels (little terror), so, I might have to wait until he starts nursery in September before I can do anything about toning up. Oh well.

Havent read everyones posts but, hope to catch up later on.

Hi jackie - when you're at work do you get a lunch break that you could use for a short walk? I've found just 1 mile to the shop and back makes a difference for me. Or could you walk to and from work and ask your mum to just extend her babysitting time slightly while you do that - might be easier than asking for any extra stints? ;)

decided to have steamed salmon with new pots and veggies for dinner tonight. For lunch it will either be a toastie or spaghetti on toast.

I don't know what's been going on with me, but my fruit & veg intake has gone down considerably this past week & I'm feeling the consequences now:o Just hope I'm not heading back to my old ways of having snacks in place of proper meals...Did manage to have a wander around with Pup yesterday tho, so more exercise is possibly the order of the day too.

I never had a problem with walking when I was younger, but for some obscure reason I have this real phobia of being caught too far from a loo ; I don't want to take something to stop me, but the fear causes a sort of IBS so I feel I want to go where I wouldn't if I were at home. Bluddin embarrassing:mad: & down-right annoying, & I'm tempted to phone Paul McKenna & ask him if he's got a CD on that too:p Some days I'm out wiv me muvva & all we do is visit the local conveniences--she's diabetic, never had a volumatic bladder & I'm also on diuretics:eek: --we could make a fortune if we produced a Good Bog Guide:rolleyes:

Sorry if that's TMI.....but felt I needed to share:rotfl: :rotfl:

The offspring are having hot dogs with everything & I've a mackeral fillet with a sweet chillie marinade calling from the fridge for tonight---Pup's got skool so it's always a quick-n-easy on Tuesdays.

NewlyWed, that sounds awful:o Are you OK? Driving is a necessary evil as far as I'm concerned, so summat like this would've had me shouting obscenities at the windscreen at the very least:mad: Why do the few morons have to risk everyone else on the road, with their ignorance & total lack of common sense:mad:   I'm now furious on your behalf! What was his reg no & I'll go let his tyres down:p

Yeah I'm ok -OH was in the car with me and shouted something back at him ;) Bit worried that I was erm speeding a little to get away from him and that he might try and report me and cause me trouble, to be honest :o Got completely clean license and don't want to wreck that from some idiot who thinks he can push me off the road and then claim I was driving dangerously in accelerating to get away from him

  • Afternoon all :hello: and welcome Weeping River.

As you can see below I remembered to weigh this morning - I am horrified, I think this is the most I have ever weighed. It must stop - now!!! I have decided that my first short challenge will be 10lb by end of May bank holiday. That, I think, is five weeks away so it is a doable target. Will update my sig.

So far today have had half grapefruit, muesli with fresh pinapple and greek yoghurt and am now snaffling a soft cheese and salad sandwich followed by plums and a yoghurt. Have an apple for this afternoon. Tea tonight is Paprika Pork and Peppers with rice (I think we are off to visit the new addition to the family so need something quick).

Mrs M - could we be twins separated at birth? We have had all the tests and are of the 'unexplained' variety of infertility. I am now seriously wondering if it is my weight so as I am now on the wrong side of 40 this is my last push for a miracle. If it don't happen - well, that is another tale!!

Off to finish lunch now - catch up later.

Hello everyone. I've fallen off the wagon a bit and been gluttonous over the weekend. I felt a bit down so I stuffed my face bad bad bad! :(

Not been doing much exercise either apart from my walk at lunchtimes. Well done to all of you doing well and big hugs if you are struggling a bit at the moment.

    Hello all!

Am back from Holiday in France, and weigh exactly the same as when we left, so could be a lot worse! Have been relatively controlled food wise, but have drank a lot of red wine / Leffe beer.

    Yesterday (off work)
    B: wholemeal toast, raspberry jam
L: museli with extra raisins, packet of scami and lemon nik naks! (!)
    S: small bar of chocolate
D: swedish meetball kebabs, courgettes, red pepper, rice and salad

    Today:
    B: museli with extra raisins
L: small bowl of veg soup, salad, yoghurt
D: OH's special carbonara (not too creamy!)
