Taplady - I've stayed out the crackers all day but don't fancy my tea so am just defrosting my blue cheese for a couple later. ;)

Plans slightly altered foodwise. Had my egg and fingers for brekkies. HM pea and ham soup for lunch (mum smelt it cooking and wanted). Now I feel a bit off it so have opted for a couple of crackers and blue brie later and a frozen raspberry yoghurt now.
On the yoghurt front...didn't realise you have to defrost them slightly ahead of time. :o I'm sat here 'ice-picking' my way round the edge, trying to melt it by cupping my hands round the sides. I guess I'm too used to soft scoop ice cream and didn't realise how solid it gets.
Its making hard work of the eating but it should last me ages at this rate. :p

Sorry about the confusion I caused over the cucumbers :o I'm useless at explaining things. You should hear me giving road directions...its painful!

OH just popped a cuppa in front of me so off for a surf and a slurp. ;)

DS3 and his fianc!e have set the date for their wedding as 1st August 2009...which gives me 3 weddings next year, Edinburgh in January, Kildare in August and Harlow in October...seems as if S3 and fianc!e are going over the top with theirs....4 bridesmaids, best man and 3 groomsmen, 4 flower girls and 4 page boys and 200 guests at around €100 each for reception....OS they are not and I think its mad, but not my money...I suggested to DS yesterday that they should elope and he looked at me as if I were mad....ME?? Anyway, lots of weight to be lost to get into something glamorous that doesn't cost the earth!

    Marie

I certainly agree with you on the eloping, as much as i loved my wedding day, too much was done to please other people, and it cost us a fortune!!

i wanted to elope from the start but DH has huge family so wanted the big day! now he says he wished he'd listened to me!!
Please be nice to all moneysavers!

    Evening ladies :hello:
I'm pooped! I'd walked 8000 steps before I'd left work today and seeing as how I'd had a lift to the station this morning........ I'm over 11,000 now, pluss I've been shifting huge boxes of rocks half the day.....my boss certainly knows when to pick his days off!

I had quorn sausage, mash and cabbage/broccoli/leek for tea. I'll have a yoghurt in a bit and promise to keep my hands off the dozen muffins I just cooked for OH ;)
Cranberry and white chocolate  Poor soul is working again tonight.

Right, I'm going to put my feet up and watch telly tonight! See you tomorrow folks :A

I've just had a really, really awful day. Not just food-wise either.

I've eaten a mini cadburys bar, a mini milky way, 2 biscuit bar things, 3 HM meringues, 2 spoonfuls of ice cream.

Then I also had new potatoes, cauliflower, baked beans, cheese, camembert, italian bean stew, wholewheat sourdough bread, white sourdough bread, banana, grapes, coffee.

I'm so disappointed in myself. I knowingly comfort-ate.

Dont be so hard on yourself - nobody is perfect - we wouldn't be on this thread if we were would we!;) just forget today and start again tomorrow. The danger lies in thinking you've had a bad day so you might as well just carry on eating thus ruining all your hard work so far! I've had a cr*p few days too - eaten far too many naughties:rolleyes: so you're not alone!

Don't get downhearted girls; summer's just round the corner and all those lovely fresh foods waiting to hit our plates. We'll all get there. ;)
I think this last bit of the winter/spring tends to be so sluggish because we can't wait for the warmth to hit us and all the good things summer promises. :)

Anyway, today's a brand new day and yesterday is history. We start afresh! :D

Didn't have my cheese and biccies yesterday but went to bed earlyish as I was really whooshy headed. Feel fine today so thats a relief. The one thing about being so overweight is that I get a bit paranoid if I feel off it... always imagining that its the dreaded heart attack or stroke when its generally just tiredness and stress. :o

    Food today:
Readybrek (had and enjoyed :D )
Duck egg and fingers (make this my last one this week. Addicted. :o )
Ham & cheese omelette with salad, HM apple coleslaw & jacket pot.

Snacks- oranges and prunes or pears.

Lovely sunny day here and wish I could get out in the garden as I've seeds need pricking out but doubt I'll do it till tomorrow. One little pepper seed up, MRSMC - not even got a friend with it this morning. I've given it my best southfacing window sill, too. Oh well, will get on with my courgettes (which I forgot to plant) and my beans.

Will check back with you all later. ;)

Edited: just realised that thats far too many eggs in my menu today so I'll be popping my ham and cheese in my jacket tattie and forgo the omelette bit. I'll have another yogurt in its place. I enjoyed my 'ice-picking' last night. Made it so much more fun. :p

Me too! My trouble is having a week off from my SW weigh in(due to work) I always think I've got 2 weeks to get my act together so can afford some treats but of course its so hard to stop once you've started!

I'm off to work later, a 7 hour shift today cos I've booked 3 hours off this morning. Will take some mackerel in to work for lunch I think. For tea I've got a leftover veggie bake type thing(HM) I'm going to use up a bit of leftover sweet spud and slice it up and bake it with a few SW chips.nomnomnom:D

    B - muesli(soaked overnight) - my favourite breakfast!

    banana

L - mackerel on toast with a side salad

    fruit of some sort

D - veggie bake with SWchips and sweet potato

    low fat yoghurt

    (((hugs))) to everyone struggling -

    take care x

Morning ladies:hello: It sounds like we have a lot of strugglers at the moment. Don't be downhearted, everyone has off days (make that off weeks in my case :o ) But draw a line under yesterday, forget about it as today is a new day, the sun is shining and we need to get out of the winter black and wear something nice and bright to cheer us all up :D :j :D

Today I've had a mushroom ommlette and toast for brekkie, I've got 5 bean salad with salad for lunch and loads of fruit. I should only have myself to see to at teatime so haven't decided what to have yet but the mood OH was in this morning there might be 2 of us - the hours in this job are starting to get to him and he's threatening to walkout........mind you if he does that again he'll be wearing his tea........

I think I'll go for a swim at lunch as I've got another busy day ahead and will need a break.

    See you later folks :A
