just had a catch up with the posts, not had much time over the weekend.

    bigmummaf :rotfl: :rotfl:

suzid i was told they ideally like 9months if not more from order of dress to wedding date - to allow time for it to arrive and do all the fittings. apparently its because they make them to order so can take 3-6months to actually arrive at the shop  i'm now panicking about which shoes to wear! :o so much to do....! glad ur DD looked lovely, the lady in the shop i got mine from gave me some good advice, "if there are any if or buts then its not the one for you." i found the style that suited me quite quickly but finding the actual dress took quite a while! at least now you know what style to look for ;)

welcome girlleastlikelyto - my DS is 2 and half and i'm still calling it baby weight :o

mrsm you sound like you have a whole vegetable farm going on - you should open a Pick Your Own!! :rotfl: what is your next challenge? perhaps some livestock - chickens or cows?! ;) i wish i could find the time and organisation to do it.

well must be off now, dinner to put on - spag bol.

I knew today would be a bad food day:rolleyes:

We didn't go to the seaside as it was pouring down this morning and OH didn't fancy the motorway in the rain so we went for our usual run into Derbyshire. We've been really lucky as the only time it rained we were in the garden centre at Matlock :D

Food today, brekkie was mushroom omlette and toast, lunch at the gardencentre was vegetable soup with a bread roll and an eccles cake :oWe were going to eat at a pub near one of OH's clients but when we got there there was a crowd of drunks outside so we drove past - OH was gutted, he said it always looks nice and quiet in the week! We went to a pub near home and I had cauliflower and brocolli bake with new potatoes and salad and sticky toffee pud with ice cream:o It was lovely but I'm stuffed no. I'll try not to have many syns this week now as I think I've had more than a weeks worth in an afternoon:eek:

Off to do my ironing now, see you tomorrow folks :A

    food today

    B - 2 x small toast with marmalade

    toffees and 1 1/2 rock cakes:o

L - cheese and salad sandwich with grapes and a packet of french fries

    Hm cream and jam scone:D

HM veggie bake(cheese in it) with roasted sweet spuds and SW roasters.

Not the best of weekends for me but I've hopefully got it out of my system now and can get back to it tomorrow, only trouble is there's more apple crumble, cream and scones in the fridge!:D

I hope you've all had a good weekend. Another day off tomorrow for me!:j

  • Evening everyone!

After a miserable start it turned out lovely here this afternoon. Still didn't fancy tackling the shed but did go for a little walk.....nothing too strenuous, just a couple of miles, but it blew away a few cobwebs and I felt like I'd earned my dinner tonight.

The turkish delight was very nomnomnom indeed Mrs M!:D

    Today I've had....

B - nothing (well 3 cups of tea - had a lie in and decided to wait until lunch time to eat)

L - beans and poached egg on toast

D - lamb chops, 2 very small baked spuds, sugarsnaps

Good luck to all the Monday morning weighers!

Hello all, not a particularly virtuous weekend as I was annoyed that I have stayed the same again. Seems this will be a very slow journey, ah well, stick with it :)

Yesterday a friend visited so we went to the farmers market for a look round and both ended up spending £30, not money saving at all but it will do us for alot of meals.

B: Nothing, had a lie in instead
L: Pumpkin seed bread, white lavender cheese, goats cheese, smoked cheddar, green olives, wilted spinach, butter beans in fresh tomato sauce and half an Aberdeen angus cornish pasty (all from the farmers market, absolutely delish!)
D: Nothing as we went out to a concert, had some wholemeal toast with HM lemon curd on it when we got home

Today was a bit better as I made my skinny friend take the remaining cheese and pasty home with her to remove temptation

B: Wholemeal toast with HM lemon curd
L: Nothing, was too busy cooking all day getting the freezer stocks up
D: Cauliflower and carrot dal with rice made using the lovely fresh veggies from the market

The freezer is now heaving with portions of mashed sweet potato, oven roasted rhubarb, soup and cauli dal
